- Reno Sanctum exclaims, "Master Rain!"
- [17:48] Rain Multhunder asks, "Right now then?"
- [17:48] Reno Sanctum says, "I think now is a good time. Yeah."
- [17:48] Reno Sanctum says, "I just got back, from a bizarre adventure."
- [17:48] Rain Multhunder exclaims, "Very well. Follow me. To the farm!"
- [17:48] Lorelai M. Kirk says, "Oh didums."
- [17:48] Akiko nods sagely as Lorelai was thwarted.
- (Akiko Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:48] Reno Sanctum exclaims, "Tally-Ho!"
- [17:50] Rain Multhunder says, "So..."
- [17:50] Rain Multhunder asks, "Which one you want to learn first?"
- [17:50] Reno Sanctum says, "Well... I already have a grasp on Time magic.. I use it for the utilities, so, all I have left is Holy."
- [17:51] Rain Multhunder says, "What do you know of holy magic. Explain it in detail."
- [17:52] Reno Sanctum says, "Well... Nothing really... Lately, I've been only meditating and channeling the light to my fist but nothings comes of it."
- [17:52] Rain Multhunder says, "Makes sense."
- [17:52] Rain Multhunder says, "It doesn't work like that."
- [17:52] Rain Multhunder says, "And you out of all people, would have greater difficulty with it."
- [17:52] Reno Sanctum asks, "Why is that Master Rain?"
- [17:53] Rain Multhunder says, "You use Time Magic. A magic that requires one to be analytical, not giving place for emotions to take root in their mind or else it may affect their delicate magic which requires fine control. Time, is not easy to manipulate after all."
- [17:54] Reno Sanctum says, "That is true, it took a lot of time for me to adjust to its downfall and insane speed."
- [17:58] With a nod of his head, Rain raised his right hand in front of himself, an orb of light quick to form centimeters above his palm. Several feelings could be felt from the ball of light, it was like someone's kidness and compassion had coalesced into a physical form.
- "Tell me, what do you feel from this?"
- He offers the sphere to Reno.
- It would be hard to put into words how one could identify it, but maybe to describe it the best. What most people would probably register it as... is Hope.
- (Rain Multhunder)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:03] Reno was cautious. He had never truly held onto an orb of light such as this before. He was calm, but at the same time, he kept an open eye in the events of this thing blowing up in his face.
- "I'm not sure..." He says at first glance when looking into the ball of light. It was because of this, he'd try to close his eyes and focus. Trying to step away from channeling energy through his body, and focus on his Spirit...
- For Reno, it was a sensation of wholeness... Time was his Mind... The Unarmed Arts was his body, and the Holy Magic belonged to his spirit. The missing piece to what he should become in order to obtain such wisdom passed down for centuries and possibly onto him by Rain.
- "It feels, whole. Like the missing piece of us that we look for, the thing that drives us..." For Reno, this was his hope, a bright flame to nurture throughout the years. Something that would grow with him, but also, help him protect the ones around him.
- A Shield itself, the main property of this Magic. Bravery...
- (Reno Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:11] With a calm expression., he watches Reno carefully while maintaining the magic which formed the sphere of hope in their hand.
- "Holy Magic is dependant on one's emotion... that's why if you started as a Holy Magi, it might be somewhat hard to grasp it at first."
- Sighing softly, he continues.
- "The emotions on which it relies are compassion, selflessness and fierceness... all which stem from one's desire to protect."
- "A holy magi, needs something they want to protect in order to stand tal against their opponents. Be it a person, a place or an ideal. They will give their all for it, including their life, in order to keep it safe."
- (Rain Multhunder)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:17] Reno understood this. He was informed by Fleur, the requirement of emotion, but at the same time, without much clarity. He gave it some serious thought as he spoke to Rain. "What I want to protect most huh?"
- He thought about all that raised him up to be whom he is now. "The common man... Those commoners without magic. I both admire and want to be like them. Like the braver ones who fight, knowing they might not win against someone capable of causing sheer destruction." His honor and pride, it was focused on the commoners.
- FOr Reno knew. A Legend is nothing without a commoners praise. "I want to protect people like that, and those like me." At this point. Reno would only be more motivated to focus, but. Such motivation, such excitement to help free the common man broke his focus.
- (Reno Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:22] "Too vague."
- Rain states with a low and calm voice.
- "A Magi's ability depends both on their ability to control mana and their mental state."
- He looks at Reno, trying to see if they understood what he was trying to say.
- "You need a specific symbol, one which will draw the strongest and most intense desire to protect from your heart. Don't think about people in general... but something very specific. A symbol, which in your heart, would represent all of them."
- (Rain Multhunder)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:27] Reno was somewhat confused... "A symbol... Not a group, but something that represents that group as a whole huh?" He wondered if he possessed such things on him. Or if such things could be summed down to a single person.
- There was Fleur, his adoptive sister now, the start of this mess but. He was unsure if this would count. He had a limited number of friends such as Miki and Ioannis the son of Sajid... Those of his age group, yet, none of which, was he sure would be enough to spark the ember of the Holy Light.
- "Would a symbol be, something like a belief? I'm sorta lost with this notion," Reno replied. He had much on his mind, but it was hard to narrow it down to a single symbol within his heart. For Reno, his symbol would probably be his humanity. But right now, he was thinking, and thinking on what that could be.
- (Reno Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:32] Thinking for several moments... the Multhunder eventually comes up with something.
- The tip of his index finger glows with a faint glow light. Raising his hand in front of himself, he draws in the air a symbol.
- p
- "Why note use the Star of Yiel then? The Bright Planet - House of the People."
- "If what you wish to protect the most is the common men. The innocent civilians that just live their daily lives while relying on the kindness of Magi to protect them from the evils of the word... This could be it."
- (Rain Multhunder)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:38] Reno looked to the symbol presented to him. Yiel - The Bright Planet - House of People - A Star which was likely to grant religious capacity. Something he could utilize on the field of battle, to protect himself and many others from harm. "I think this will suit me best... The blessing I need, is from the people, and one day. Maybe this star will strengthen me through their hearts, no?"
- The young teen was delighted. The symbol was a humble one, and a mark worth wearing for his lifetime. "I want to learn more about it. It's history, the people---But first, the basics, yes? Master Rain." He gazed up at the main, honored to even be here learning from someone as experienced as he was. Rain utilized Time and Holy, probably to their fullest capacity.
- "So this is what you meant by symbol... I never knew anything about this till now... Maybe there's a hidden section of this wisdom I must of passed while reading." Reno laughed abit nervously, waiting for the next step.
- (Reno Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:43] "Apologies, Reno."
- He lowers his head slightly, a bitter smile on the man's face.
- "I'm not as great a mentor as my Master was. There's nothing I can do to help you on the practical side."
- "Hm... what I can tell you, is that holy magi bloom in the face adversity. When protecting something or when feeling a strong ammount of one of those emotions I mentioned. You will be able to feel holy energy inside yourself."
- With a nod, he remembers how he had learnt it from Osric, and misses those simper times at the Church.
- "Rely on your emotions for this magic in specific... I can't do much more than telling you that."
- (Rain Multhunder)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:50] There it was. The end of the golden road of which he walked on with Rain. If anything, Reno had learned so much more from Rain than he has from anyone else at this point. Even though the man was a criminal. He was humble as well. Reno on the other hand, a fellow human who lived in Theria, looking up to Rain and someone he'd like to be one day. And to honor him, by becoming as strong as he could, and watch over his family, be it as a friend, or through other means.
- The teen learned that, not every magic can be channeled the same way as Time, through thinking. It was not often that he would rely on emotions and now. He had a lot of opening up to do with himself. This may have just sparked enough light for Reno to unlock the gifts of the many faiths from above.
- "You taught me all that you could and I am most grateful for that. I never knew, that one day. I'd end up finding someone else to look up to. Now, I have found some clarity, through your Wisdom and yours alone." Reno smiled, standing up.
- "The Bright Star, Yiel… If that faith is truly with the common man, then so be it. I will honor your lessons today, by truly holding onto that symbol, and cherish it. After all, everything we've done, up to this point, is because we're simply human right?" He chuckled a bit. Thanking Rain one more time.
