gushing_granny: recap

gushing_granny: dan discovers orcs for some reason

gushing_granny: dan and nini get into a big tussle

gushing_granny: it was awkward for everyone, especially the orc that got punched really hard

gushing_granny: dan is quietly flipping through apps on his phone

gushing_granny: he glances at nini, frowns, and turns away

gushing_granny: "my scanners indicate that we are nearing a location with a large amount of residual energy"

gushing_granny: "......"

gushing_granny: dan and nini continue their trek through the dense forest, it suddenly opens up into a large clearing

gushing_granny: dan thinks to himself "how am i supposed to use my powers if they destroy my body every time i use them. damn it, nini is a bitch, but shes right, its too risky"

gushing_granny: dan clutches his fist

gushing_granny: "so....um....about yesterday"

gushing_granny: nini says, slowly

gushing_granny: "what about yesterday?"

gushing_granny: "i....i got impatient with you. i....i apologize for that"

gushing_granny: "thats nice. i dont give a fuck."

gushing_granny: "look, im trying to be peaceful"

gushing_granny: "shut up. you dont give a shit about me. last time i spoke to you, you didnt seem so keen on being 'peaceful'."

gushing_granny: "well at least im trying to apologize, you need to be mo-"

gushing_granny: suddenly, a large beast could be heard bellowing across the clearing"

gushing_granny: dan turns his head, squinting his eyes "what the hell is that!?"

gushing_granny: a large monster tumbles into the clearing, its massive, serrated claws digging into the earth to keep its balance

gushing_granny: "rrrrRRRROOoOOooorrrrR"

gushing_granny: dan covers his ears

gushing_granny: "shit, what are we going to do?!"

gushing_granny: "you're going to fight it. without using that energy"

gushing_granny: "protect me, squire." nini adds sarcastically

gushing_granny: "oh, so you know enough about english to be a smartass huh? so, what if i CANT beat this thing without using energy?"

gushing_granny: "i dont know, you're the one who has to fight it."

gushing_granny: dan growls

gushing_granny: the beast sees dan and turns his 6 eyes toward him, his furry mane rustling in the wind

gushing_granny: it rears up on its haunches, bellowing at the top of its lungs

gushing_granny: dan covers his ears again "fuck, that thing is loud!"

gushing_granny: the beast stomps the ground with all its might, then charges at dan

gushing_granny: dan dodge rolls out of the way of the beast, causing it to lose its balance and almost fall over

gushing_granny: "alright, you wanna tussle? you got it!"

gushing_granny: dan sprints at the beast while it is off balance, and punches it in its jaw

gushing_granny: the beast howls in pain, and whips around, hitting dan in the torso with his tail

gushing_granny: as dan gets hit in the torso, his attention is suddenly drawn to the corner of the clearing, 2 more monsters looking similar to the one dan is currently fighting step out into the field

gushing_granny: "shit,"

gushing_granny: dan steps back

gushing_granny: "nini, do you see this shit?"

gushing_granny: "ok, ok, ill help. but no using energy"

gushing_granny: nini flies over to the monster that dan hit in the jaw "ill take care of this one, you deal with the other two!"

gushing_granny: dan looks up at nini, she begins gathering energy around her eye

gushing_granny: "fine."

gushing_granny: he sprints off toward the other 2 monsters as nini begins to fire lazer bolts at the first monsters face

gushing_granny: the 2 monsters charge dan, but he jumps above them

gushing_granny: "come on....." dan says as he hangs in the air

gushing_granny: he thinks back to the time when the bully threw a sharpened pencil at his next

gushing_granny: "grrrrrr"

gushing_granny: a small wave of energy bursts from dans aura, thrusting him downward, he brings back his arm and punches one of the monster in the head as hard as he can

gushing_granny: *neck

gushing_granny: he flips away from the other monster as it tries to bite him with his rotten, infected teeth

gushing_granny: he turn his attention to the other monster "one down, one to g-, oof!"

gushing_granny: the monster recovered faster than dan anticipated and knocked dan to the ground

gushing_granny: dan looks over at nini, who is still firing energy rays at the first monster

gushing_granny: "can i get a little help" dan quickly gets back on his feet and narrowly dodges a stomping hoof

gushing_granny: "still dealling with this one!!!"

gushing_granny: "damnit."

gushing_granny: he looks at the monster he had previously punched "that one is weakened. i should draw its attention and strike it down"

gushing_granny: he sprints over to the monster, kicking up dirt into its face

gushing_granny: he punches its nose, causing it to screech

gushing_granny: dan sprints away, and the monster follows, the other one following behind it

gushing_granny: "if i cant use a finishing move, how am i supposed to beat these things?"

gushing_granny: he looks over at nini again, who is continually firing bolts of purple energy at the monster

gushing_granny: he frowns ".....if she can use energy, so can i!"

gushing_granny: dan turns around, a furious look on his face

gushing_granny: "as if i wouldnt use my powers. bitch."

gushing_granny: nini notices dans furious posture "damn it dan, dont do it!"

gushing_granny: dan closes his eyes as the 2 monsters approach him

gushing_granny: he begins to flood his mind with negative thoughts

gushing_granny: "pain is power, pain is power, pain is power"

gushing_granny: as he opens his eyes, a blazing dark blue aura surrounds him

gushing_granny: "TAKE THIS, MY FINISHING MOVE"

gushing_granny: he sprints toward both of the monsters

gushing_granny: he angles his body downward

gushing_granny: "DESTRON CRASH"

gushing_granny: he runs into one of the monsters, knocking it a few meters away from him, it seems gravely injured

gushing_granny: "damn, i didnt have enough time"

gushing_granny: he then feels a massive pain in his legs and back

gushing_granny: dan twitches "arrgh...."

gushing_granny: the other monster bucks his legs at dan, knocking him into the air

gushing_granny: it then positions its mouth open, sprinting towards the spot where dan would land

gushing_granny: dan can barely move his body, lest get out of the way

gushing_granny: "d-damnit"

gushing_granny: nini, distracted by killing the other monster, barely notices dan before he flies into the monsters gaping jaws

gushing_granny: "NO, DAN"

gushing_granny: as nini is distracted, the monster she was shooting lazers at jumps at her, swatting her out of the air

gushing_granny: dan, currently sliding down the monsters throat

gushing_granny: "what is my life."

gushing_granny: dan begins to think

gushing_granny: "why me."

gushing_granny: "WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN TO ME"

gushing_granny: as dan was about to accept his fate, his own conscious begins to speak to him

gushing_granny: "you're not dead yet"

gushing_granny: dan clutches the inside of the monsters throat

gushing_granny: "....."

gushing_granny: "thats right"

gushing_granny: nini lays there on the ground

gushing_granny: she barely manages get up off the ground before being stepped on by the monster

gushing_granny: "n-no....it cant end this way"

gushing_granny: she suddenly hears a loud crash, followed by a loud scream

gushing_granny: "w-what"

gushing_granny: she looks in the direction of the scream, she only sees a dark blue ball of energy

gushing_granny: "GET AWAY FROM HER YOU UGLY FUCK, SHES MY TICKET OFF THIS PLANET"

gushing_granny: the blue ball of energy dashes across the sky at a breakneck speed, it impacts the monster stepping on nini, disintegrating it

gushing_granny: fast forward a few hours later

gushing_granny: "now, what was that about me not having to use energy?"

gushing_granny: "shut up, you idiot. you were a hairs length away from death"

gushing_granny: "yeah, i was pretty banged up, wasnt i ?" dan begins laughing

gushing_granny: "is that funny to you?"

gushing_granny: "no, but seeing you get all angry is."

gushing_granny: nini pauses, seething over dans words

gushing_granny: "....."

gushing_granny: "thank you."

gushing_granny: dan stops laughing

gushing_granny: "huh?"

gushing_granny: "i said thank you....for saving me."

gushing_granny: dans face turns to a timid, calm demeanor

gushing_granny: "y-you too"

gushing_granny: (just kidding)

gushing_granny: he looks away from nini "you're welcome, i guess...anytime"

gushing_granny: the 2 sit there in silence

gushing_granny: "ive almost finished repairing myself, we should get going."

gushing_granny: "right."

gushing_granny: dan got up

gushing_granny: "by the way, how the hell did you do that."

gushing_granny: "hmm?"

gushing_granny: "oh, i just figure it was a flight or fight response"

gushing_granny: "i was put in danger, and my body responded...or, something like that"

gushing_granny: "you know, if you hadnt did that, we would both be dead right now, right?"

gushing_granny: "yeah, i know."

gushing_granny: "sooo, what was that thing you were saying about me NEVER using energy again?"

gushing_granny: "shut up."

gushing_granny: fast forward to the next day

gushing_granny: dan and nini are walking down a crudely made road

gushing_granny: they are talking about inane things about human culture, when suddenly dans stomach growls

gushing_granny: "ugh, im hungry enough to eat dirt."

gushing_granny: "really? bellatorians dont have to eat that often."

gushing_granny: "huh?"

gushing_granny: "umm, nothing."

gushing_granny: "my scanners indicate that there are numerous lifeforms a few miles up ahead"

gushing_granny: "wow, you even have the mile-alien distance conversion thing down."

gushing_granny: "im doing it for your sake so you'll understand easier."

gushing_granny: "oh. thats neat."

gushing_granny: a few miles later

gushing_granny: dan squints

gushing_granny: "hey i see the to- OH SHIT, HIDE"

gushing_granny: dan dives behind a bush

gushing_granny: "what the hell are you doing?"

gushing_granny: "SHHHH ITS THE ORCS, THEY CAN HEAR YOU WITH THEIR ORC POWERS"

gushing_granny: "the fucks an orc? what are you on about"

gushing_granny: dan grabs nini "shh shh shh child, restrain your tongue"

gushing_granny: nini squirms out of dans grasps "let go of me! ugh, why do you have to so annoying for no reason?"

gushing_granny: "shut up! they may hear you!"

gushing_granny: "oh...."

gushing_granny: "you're talking about those agravians."

gushing_granny: "what?"

gushing_granny: "agravians. the green skinned bi pedals with horns."

gushing_granny: "no, no, you have it confused. they're orcs"

gushing_granny: if nini had a body, she would be looking at him like this ">​.>​"

gushing_granny: "whatever. hey, get out from that bush, you look stupid."

gushing_granny: dan stands up "they still may be able to hear us..."

gushing_granny: they get closer to the village, they see orcs of all shapes and sizes, walking around a crude construct made of caste-metal

gushing_granny: "what the hell are they doing, nini"

gushing_granny: "i dont know....but, i think we should go find out"

gushing_granny: "to hell with that, whatever happened to finding energy to charge your warp whatever?"

gushing_granny: "there is nothing wrong with a little information gathering. since those orcs attacked you, you may need knowledge about them so you may defeat them easier."

gushing_granny: "well, how am i supposed to do that?"

gushing_granny: "let me think of something."

gushing_granny: "there, see that path over there? it looks like there is a guy walking down it, going off somewhere alone."

gushing_granny: "hmm, i think i know what you are getting at."

gushing_granny: fast forward a few minutes, nini and dan stealthily follow the orc, he stops at a clearing in the middle of the forest and pulls out a sack of food

gushing_granny: "gibberishgibberishucant​unsderstandmemmmthisfood​looksgood"

gushing_granny: brb, gonna eat

gushing_granny: *back

gushing_granny: ok, so

gushing_granny: dan and nini quietly approach the orc

gushing_granny: "what are you going to do to him?"

gushing_granny: "you'll see. now, i want you knock him out."

gushing_granny: dan shrugs

gushing_granny: "sure. why not"

gushing_granny: he jumps into the clearing where the orc is sitting, chomping down on food

gushing_granny: he turns toward dan "gibberishwhoareyou"

gushing_granny: dan punches him in the head, and the orc slumps over

gushing_granny: "alright. drag him over here"

gushing_granny: dan moves his body over to nini

gushing_granny: alright....i dont want to use too much energy....

gushing_granny: nini's eye begins to glow

gushing_granny: "digital technique, mind link!"

gushing_granny: "hmm?"

gushing_granny: a bright scar of energy appears on the orcs head

gushing_granny: "ok, lets see here"

gushing_granny: "....."

gushing_granny: "didnt need to read that memory"

gushing_granny: "......."

gushing_granny: "there, childhood."

gushing_granny: "........."

gushing_granny: "found it."

gushing_granny: "what did you find?"

gushing_granny: "the regions of his brain that contains his capacity for language."

gushing_granny: the scar disappears from the orc's head

gushing_granny: "ok, now, i want you stand still."

gushing_granny: "yeah, oka- oh god what is happening"

gushing_granny: dan squirms as thoughts are being forced into his mind

gushing_granny: he kneels to the ground, clutching his head "ugh, what the fuck did you just do to me?"

gushing_granny: "i just taught you how to speak the orc language." nini said with a hint of satisfaction

gushing_granny: "ahh shit, now you have me calling the agravians that stupid name!"

gushing_granny: "its because agravians is a dumb name for anything."

gushing_granny: i think imma end it there

gushing_granny: things start getting a bit heated in the next part
