  1. Alexithymiaa: -Adam sat on the couch, his body leaned forward over the coffee table with a rag held in his hand as he scrubbed down the table, cleaning it of any dust or debris. He tried to work quickly, wanting to move from one task to the next so he could close up in a timely fashion since they were pretty dead tonight.-
  2. Tsaaq: Thaddeus walked into the shop and sort of stood near the entrance because he'd never actually come inside Between The Panels. He rose his thick eyebrow as he moved towards one of the racks and eyed a few comics before glancing at Adam on the couch.
  3. Alexithymiaa: -Hearing the door open, he lifted his head to look toward the front of the shop, spotting Thad immediately and rising to his feet. "Can I help you with something?"-
  4. Tsaaq: "I don't know." Thad replied as he put his hands in his pockets, stepping over to Adam slowly. "You work here I'm guessing." He muttered as he sized up Adam, pursing his pierced lips a moment.
  5. Alexithymiaa: "Uhh..." He turned to glance over his shoulder behind him, nodding his head. "Yeah. Were you looking for something specific?"_
  6. Tsaaq: Thaddeus finally blinked and put his hand on his chin in contemplation. "I don't know." He answered before glancing around the shop. "Comics, y'know? You guys have the new Darth Vader comic?" He asked.
  7. Alexithymiaa: "Oh yeah, we just got them in." (Sure) He turned and dropped the rag onto the coffee table, walking over to the rack of new releases I imagine exists picking up the comic and holding it out to him.-
  8. Tsaaq: "Cooool." Thad dragged out and took the comic, nodding slowly. "You know the funniest thing happened the other day." He began to say before pausing. "Nah, nevermind." He muttered.
  9. Alexithymiaa: -Adam raised his brows, slowly slipping his hands into the pockets of his shorts. "What?"-
  10. Tsaaq: Thad shrugged his shoulders. "Nah it's just that, well, I came in last night and Hayley was like... I don't even know. Stretching her body and I went to go tell her to shut her door and she tells me to stay away and that her room is her safe space but... Don't you go in there all the time? What's that supposed to mean?"
  11. Alexithymiaa: "It means she reserves the right to let whoever she wants into her room, and keep anyone she wants out. Kind of the point of it being her room. If she chooses not to allow you into her room, that's up to her and it's up to you to respect that." He kept his words firm, his eyes not leaving Thad's face.-
  12. Tsaaq: "I don't want to sound like an asshole or anything but..." Thaddeus trailed off softly. "But she's let me in, in y'know, other ways... But whatever. I told her I'd stay away." He said as he waved his free tatted hand at Adam. "If that really makes her think everything is okay or whatever."
  13. Alexithymiaa: "Anything that's happened in the past is irrelevant if today she says no." He spoke flatly, turning away from Thad to walk back over to the coffee table and grab the rag. "If she wants you to leave her alone, then you should. Regardless of what you think of the situation."-
  14. Tsaaq: Thad pursed his lips again as he tossed his comic on the counter. "I don't know about all that." He murmured. "Whatever, I just sort of just want to be friends or something now." He said. "I'm over it."
  15. Alexithymiaa: "I'm sure there are plenty of other people who would want to be your friend that it would be a mutual relationship." He walked around behind the counter, tossing the rag underneath and moving to the register to ring Thad's purchase up.-
  16. Tsaaq: "So I can't be friends with Hayley? Why the hell not? Cause you're insecure cause we've done it? I just said I was over it. What's the big deal?" Thad began to bombard him but mantained a monotone in his voice as he too out his wallet.
  17. Alexithymiaa: "It has nothing to do with me. Hayley is entitled to be friends with whoever she wants. She doesn't want to be friends with you and that's her choice. Fortunately in America, women have the option to be friends or not be friends with whoever they please. They aren't property or slaves, and are magical free thinking individuals just the same as men."-
  18. Tsaaq: Thaddeus stared blankly at Adam then nodded his head. "Okay." He said softly and shrugged. "So I'll ask her later when she gets home, after practice and shit." He said with a bit of a malicious tone.
  19. Alexithymiaa: -He reached over and took his money, pushing it into the drawer and making change, handing it back to him. "And if you ask her and she says she doesn't want to be friends with you? You need to respect that and leave her alone."-
  20. Tsaaq: "What the hell is your damage man. It's not even that serious." Thad sighed as he took his change. "Can I get a bag?" He asked exasperatedly.
  21. Alexithymiaa: "Apparently it's serious enough that she's expressed she doesn't want to be your friend and you've flat out called her property before. That's not right. I don't even know why you would want to be friends with someone who doesn't want to be your friend." He reached below the counter, grabbing a bag and sticking the comic inside it, holding the bag out to Thad.-
  22. Tsaaq: Thaddeus shook his head and took his bag. "She's just being extra and acting like she's scared of me and shit. She knows that we can be regular friends. You're probably putting all that shit in her head or something."
  23. Alexithymiaa: "Not really, but okay. Like I said, it's her decision. So whatever she decides, you need to respect."-
  24. Tsaaq: "Maybe you should respect me, because I saw her first?" Thad snapped a moment.
  25. Alexithymiaa: -Adam furrowed his brows, just kind of staring into Thad's face. "If we were talking about a dollar you found on the ground outside, that would be relevant. But we're not. We're talking about a human being with thoughts and feelings."-
  26. Tsaaq: Thaddeus sighed, rubbing his hand down his face. "Adam, you seem like a nice guy and all. Really, you do." He began to say gently. "But, you're in way over you head. She was gonna have my baby-" Thad said then paused, furrowing his thick eyebrows. "Somebody's baby. I don't know I always assumed it was mine." He shrugged. "I think that means that y'know. She's sort of mine.: He shrugged again.
  27. Alexithymiaa: -Despite his unwavering face, his insides flipped because he'd forgotten all about that, his mind now running wild if it actually had been Thad's. "The past is in the past. The only thing that matters is how she feels right now. You don't just get to claim her because you think you're entitled to her or you deserve her. If you actually cared for her, you'd want her to be happy rather than forcing your selfish choices on her."-
  28. Tsaaq: ((Don't worry Adam -pats-))
  29. Tsaaq: He stared angrily at Adam. "How do you know she's happy?" He challenged. "I'm not being selfish. This is what you do when you're trying to be with the person you were meant to be with. I'm sorry." Thad threw up his hands a moment.
  30. Alexithymiaa: "I don't know she's happy. But what I do know is that she's allowed to make her own choices. She shouldn't be forced into anything and that's kind of what it sounds like you're doing." He paused, laying his hands down on the counter. "Now if you don't mind, I need to close up shop for the night."-
  31. Tsaaq: Thad went to step away from the counter backwards with his eyebrows low. "Fine. I won't do shit. I'll just wait... I'm patient." He said as he went to walk out the shop. "See you around ht ehouse." he called out as he left the shop, heading for his car and shit.
  32. Alexithymiaa: -Adam grumbled, moving to follow behind Thad to lock the door so he could finish cleaning up and shit, all mad now.-
