  1. Looking at Samael for a second, Percival offers a soft smile as he walks past him. He shuffles over to the spirit.
  2.
  3. "Uncle Sera," He pauses, breathing in. "..Or Seraph, can I talk to you?" He ponders, seeming a bit .. Confused! "About important stuff!"
  4. (Percival Kang)
  5.
  6. Seraph says, "Ah... Very well."
  7.
  8. Hobbling into a random classroom, the corridors of Reimara Academy had gone dusty and unused; such was expected from an academy that never officially hired a janitor, of course.
  9.
  10. … But back to the point, the Kang turns to his 'uncle', or rather, the memory of him as he shuts the door behind him. Cerulean crystals circle his form carefully, constructs of his mana held in case he needed one to battle.
  11.
  12. "..I never met my uncle Sera, but I heard he was a great man. I'm sorry that you died." He began. He stares forwards, at the ethereal vision of him.
  13.
  14. "..But I need help, because I don't know anything about myself. My father can't help me with it, and neither can my brother. I heard Elisheva ran away.. So I don't think she can either." He declared.
  15.
  16. "..Calael is my dad, if thatwasn't obvious!" He added.
  17.
  18. He doesn't ask what he actually wants to. Not yet. He'd try to let all of his words sink in first.
  19. (Percival Kang)
  20.
  21. Wings upon his back would fold inwards as a curious gaze lingered beneath the mask. Wings upon his back folding inwards much as if they were still there, intent on listening to the woes which may of plagued this young child.
  22.
  23. "... What do you not understand about yourself, Percival? Your Father has spoken highly of all his children, you were no exception." Seraph spoke in a soft and kind tone. Much as a man would to his own children, those riddled with doubt and question.
  24.
  25. "I- Can help in what ways I can."
  26.
  27. What few ways he could shed some light upon the curiosity which lingered in Percivals mind.
  28. (Seraph)
  29.
  30. He looks about the empty classroom, remembering how he was once in here for the first exorcism classes held on campus, learning about holy magic .. About how it taught him what protection meant, and how holy magic functioned on the fundamental levels.
  31.
  32. ...But as he looked at his own hands, he knew he was missing the most important part of protection. At least to him.
  33.
  34. "..I don't know. Why, I can't do anything." He declared. He took a step forwards.
  35.
  36. "...All of my cousins can do what you can do, what my dad can do, what uncle Noel can do .. They can make the swords. My brother can make them too..
  37.
  38. … My brother even has wings. Why can't I do it? I'm just the same as him. I'm one of us too.
  39.
  40. … Right?"
  41.
  42. He drew in a strong breath, trying to deal with the potential that he might not even be.
  43.
  44. Buthe knew he was. The mountain couldn't yield to this.. It had to remain strong.
  45.
  46. "How do you make the swords? I don't understand. I just want to be able to protect everyone close to me. But I can't without them..
  47.
  48. … Or I can, but they don't think I can. They go on dangerous adventures without me because they think I'm not good enough."
  49.
  50. The youngest Kang mumbles and mumbles, freaking out as he breathes in slowly.
  51.
  52. "I just want to know, if you know, how I can fix this. They said when I got older, I would have them. But I'm just as old as they all were when they learned how. I'm getting older than they were. I feel like I'm too late now.."
  53.
  54. Within his tone, worry. Stress. Anxiety. He couldn't understand any of it.
  55. (Percival Kang)
  56.
  57. Blood which coursed through his veins had not yet beckoned the call of divinity which so many other children had awoken. Those words all too similar to those memories which played through his mind, those past experiences which Sera had now looked fondly upon.
  58.
  59. "... Sera was similar to you once upon a time. While our divine blood manifested since birth, his siblings had saw him as weak and fragile when they were young." Those words followed by a wave of his hand, the soothing and calming virtuous sensation which swelled putting the mind of Percival at ease.
  60.
  61. "Yet. He proved himself as one who would rise above all others. Isaac and Ren Shi both pushing forwards, side by side against the evils which would harm those closest to him. Which would harm those of shared blood." There came a smile, his hand stretching outwards as it rested upon the boys shoulder.
  62.
  63. "... Focus on those around you and not of your heritage. Give back to those close to you and seek to prove those siblings which doubt you wrong. I am sure, in time you'll match them in greatness and power."
  64.
  65. Who knows? His blood could awaken at any moment, though even so!
  66.
  67. "Don't become lost focusing on what others have, look to what you can achieve."
  68. (Seraph)
  69.
  70. As he finished his rambling, the youngest Kang stares at the ethereal memory of his uncle, the phantom of the virtue of justice. He wanted to be able to protect everyone. But knowing that there was a latent power within him that laid dormant, that he had failed to awaken, ate at him all of these years. There was so much more he was capable of protecting people with. That he couldn't use.
  71.
  72. ...And so, when even Sera tells him there's no particular way to awaken it, the youngest Kang frowns.
  73.
  74. "..I see, so there really is no way to make it happen. My dad told me maybe during a tense moment, or a dangerous moment, it might awaken, and I thought it'd be when Akasha came." He spoke. He breathes in, letting out a very light sigh after his words. "But I guess not. I just gotta keep trying.." He spoke.
  75.
  76. As the virtuous feeling of justice, something warm and pleasant comes to his features, the youngest Kang brings forth a light smile. It was something refreshing, and relieving in these tense times he faced.
  77.
  78. "..I don't want to prove them wrong, I want to protect them the best that I can... It'll come to me one day. Maybe you're right though. Trying to make it happen, won't make it happen.."
  79. (Percival Kang)
  80.
  81. Time would prove the greatest asset being given to this child still clouded with doubt of his own self worth. So long as he focused on what proved possible, on what he could attain this child would feel no greater sense of ease upon his mind.
  82.
  83. "I see. Then, focus on that alone. Protect those who you value and seek not power - Seek a purpose and meaning in your very existence." With a flutter of his wings, the man promptly stepped back from Percival.
  84.
  85. "Was... That all, Young Kang?"
  86.
  87. Those answers had seemed simple enough.
  88. (Seraph)
  89.
  90. It was something he had to let happen. He had to let things run their course, and he had to let anything that wanted to awaken, awaken on its own.
  91.
  92. "..Okay, I will.. I'll defend everything with my life, with my purpose." He declared, breathing in slowly.
  93.
  94. "Thank you uncle--.. Thank you, Seraph. I think you helped me more than my dad could." He declared simply. As he wonders if there's anything else, the Kang looks at the wall for a few seconds, deep in thought.
  95.
  96. "..Yes, you need to go talk to Thalia. Even if you don't remember her a lot. I care about her too, and I want to protect her feelings." He'd speak, a calmed tone from his words as he spoke.
  97.
  98. "..And I think you hurt them earlier when you didn't answer her, so go talk to her."
  99. (Percival Kang)
