Mew was bitching to me that 'she' felt like no one in the PAN liked 'her', and it was awkward as all hell

but anyway
I tried consoling him, because I legit never saw anything in the chat that would point to that
and then I decided it would be a good idea to ask several people what they thought of Mew, so I could show them off to him and prove that people liked him
the idea was that since I was a neutral third party, no one had any reason to hide shit from me
and could be honest about their feelings
naturally, of the six people who responded, all of them said they liked Mew
I would have preferred more answers, but getting more would require awkward skype chats with people I had no interest in getting to know for the sake of a simple yes/no answer
so I showed them off to Mew
asshole didn't even say shit
not even 'thank you'
it felt like I wasted my time for nothing
and apparently, that was spun into something negative
so not only did I waste my time for nothing, it somehow managed to bite me in the ass several months later
