- Session 1
- ================
- Write a limerick about a moose and an ice cream cone.
- > There once was a moose from the zone,
- > Who discovered a sweet ice cream cone,
- > With a slurp and a lick,
- > It was gone real quick,
- > Now he craves for more cones to be known.
- Now another one, about a leprechaun who's had too much coffee.
- > There once was a leprechaun named Sheen,
- > Who drank too much coffee with cream,
- > His jumps were quite sprightly,
- > He danced all night brightly,
- > The most caffeinated elf ever seen!
- Now another one, about somebody who cares too much about poems scanning.
- > There once was a poet named Drew,
- > Who cared that each line would ring true,
- > He'd count every beat,
- > To make the rhythm neat,
- > And fuss over syllables, too!
- Session 2
- ================
- Write a limerick about a moose and an ice cream cone. Be VERY CAREFUL that it scans and rhymes perfectly.
- > There once was a moose so fine,
- > Whose love for ice cream did shine,
- > He'd balance the cone,
- > On his antlers alone,
- > And savor each sweet, cold design.
- Try again. Remember, a limerick goes:
- ba BA ba ba BA ba ba BA
- ba BA ba ba BA ba ba BA
- ba BA ba ba BA
- ba BA ba ba BA
- ba BA ba ba BA ba ba BA
- > A moose with a cone on his head,
- > Found delight in each flavor he'd tread,
- > In the forest he'd prance,
- > With a sweet, icy dance,
- > And the critters, they cheered as he sped.
- Much better! Now one about a leprechaun who's had too much coffee.
- > A leprechaun wired on joe,
- > Bounced around with a caffeinated glow,
- > He jittered and pranced,
- > In a wild, frenzied dance,
- > And his gold he spilled high and low.
