Rainer followed her through, and she closed the metal door, sliding the security bar into place. She’d only just secured the bar when there came a horrible pounding on the door. “Popescu! Come out! I thought you were a fighter!”

The door behind her made a shrieking sound and Rainer screamed as the android punched through the metal. It reached through the hole and forced up the security bar. Rainer was backing away from the door with his hands palms-out in front of him.
