  1. "...." Robin follows along, resisting the urge to interrupt her as she stutters and stammers through a few short sentences. He eyes the seeds suspiciously. A farm girl?
  2.
  3. "Probably." He shrugs. "But I figure you have to have SOMETHING cool going on if you were down in the Drain. But it looks like all you're into is dumb plants and dirt." Going straight for the jugular, he insults the one thing he knows about her.
  4.
  5. "Come on, let's go find something to do!"
  6. (Robin)
  7.
  8. "For uh... right now..." Her friends had took the regular rooms and that left her the garden as a living space. "I'm around a lot of dirt so I... uhm… guessed I'd do something with it..." She wondered actually if she needed to go get bugs like ants and things.
  9.
  10. Ants crawling into her bed didn't sound fun. "... and I was only down there because Maël brought me down there..." There was too much blood and bone down there for her little heart.
  11.
  12. "... find something to do? I... I guess..." She didn't have much to do exactly.
  13. (Agapi)
  14.
  15. Robin leads the way.
  16.
  17. "Hey, speaking of-" He glances around the stalls as he passes them, looking for any good swords. Not that he had an eye for one, really. "Know anyone that knows like... Star magic? I've been trying to learn it so I have a magic to use that..." He drops his voice for a moment, and then resumes dialogue as normal.
  18.
  19. "So that'd be like... number one on the list, you know?"
  20. (Robin)
  21.
  22. Robin whispers: Isn't ILLEGAL.
  23.
  24. "Star magic?" Agapi tapped her fingers as she thought about each of her friends first. The brothers she knew for sure didn't know cosmic. The fat kid didn't either. Matseiv didn't know, she was pretty sure, but she wasn't sure. "... I don't even know what magic Lunem uses..." She mutters.
  25.
  26. She finally shook her head after a few minutes past. "No, I don't... I know knights and people like that usually know the magic. That or... uh... holy."
  27.
  28. If he wanted to learn the magic, that was probably the best bet.
  29. (Agapi)
  30.
  31. "...Ahh." Robin seems unimpressed, but not as angry at her incompetence at he usually might've been. Ignorance to magic was one of the few things he could relate to; given that he hadn't a fucking clue what was going on whenever he shot fireballs either.
  32.
  33. "Damn it... you'd think these people would advertise that kind of thing. I would learn from a Knight... but those guys are all..." He shivers.
  34.
  35. "Law." He speaks it like a curse word. "And I guess... whether I like it or not, I can't cooperate with those kind of people anymore." Turns out the power he had learned was both a blessing and a curse. One that was impeding his progress.
  36.
  37. "Surely there has to be ANOTHER way!"
  38. (Robin)
  39.
  40. Agapi would give a nervous shrug. "I guess you can learn it yourself...?" For some reason, Robin seemed a bit hesitant about learning from a knight. Though, after what she saw today, she probably wouldn't want learn from one either. Not exactly.
  41.
  42. And, there was a doubt lessons came free. Though, that was her mostly lacking in self confidence and making excused. "... ah..." She stared at the man standing still and glowing in astral ambience.
  43. (Agapi)
  44.
  45.
  46. Robin exclaims, "I mean! Look at that guy! He's just sparkling standing still!"
  47.
  48. Agapi says, "... so he is..."
  49.
  50. Agapi says, "Oh- wait... that's a woman.."
  51.
  52. Robin says, "Yikes."
  53. Robin takes a step away from the park proper, shaking his head.
  54.
  55. "Whatever. Point is, if they can do it - so can I! I just... think it'd be easier if someone else explained it a little." He grumbles. "To be honest, until recently I kinda SUCKED at magic. I still don't know anything about it."
  56.
  57. "...Whatever!" He shouts, throwing his hands up in the air!
  58.
  59. "I'm done moping around! That's lame, and I'm not wasting my time with it." He turns his attention back to Agapi! "Why don't you ever talk much, huh? I feel like I'm doing all the legwork here."
  60. (Robin)
  61.
  62. Vodhan turned around and looked towards the two speaking loudly across the street. Magic? They were wondering about that kinda stuff... he knew some of it? Maybe he could help them?
  63.
  64. "Excuse me? Sorry, did you say you two needed help with something?"
  65.
  66. He would then proceed to take a deep breath, causing his body to light up with flames along the scars that covered his still rather young body so that the two could see him.
  67. (Vodhan of the Vale)
  68.
  69. "I... uh... I think someone would explain it to you if they had it..." It was her belief, at least it was a few hours ago, that most people with light magics were rather nice. Though, she usually didn't talk to them, or never really needed to.
  70.
  71. The topic was past at this point anyway. "... oh, well, I'm not much of a people's person. Also, Rossa tells me not to talk to strangers..." And she would usually listen and do so by avoiding them!
  72.
  73. Couldn't this time though.
  74.
  75. "... I shake and s-shiver alot around people. Stutter too..." She's been doing so the whole time after all. She would've gone on but she notice someone behind her speaking.
  76.
  77. "... huh? Oh, uh... he needed something. Not me..." Gesturing towards Robin and moving out the way for the two to talk.
  78. (Agapi)
  79.
  80. "...Huh?" Robin turns, looking over to Vodhan. "I'm looking for someone to teach me about star magic, yeah." He crosses his arms. "I heard it's super strong, but I need to find my star or something, which just sounds really vague and weird considering I can't just LOOK UP!"
  81.
  82. He throws his hands into the air!
  83. (Robin)
  84.
  85. Vodhan looked around a bit, before scratching his chin. He didn't know much about that kind of magic, but he too had heard its strong and difficult to master.
  86.
  87. "Well I do know that depending on personalities and things like that different magic is easier to learn for some people. Stone for stubborn people, fire for determined or angry people, things like that? Maybe what they mean is you have to find your spiritual centre? figure out who you are, deep down I mean? Missing that I know there are a lot of magic users in the town? They may be able to help you?"
  88.
  89. He shrugged, he could only really give the information he himself had been given when he first started to manifest his fire skills. He wasn't really religious or spiritual either.
  90.
  91. "Maybe try not to take it so literally is all I suppose?"
  92. (Vodhan of the Vale)
  93.
  94. Robin shrugs.
  95.
  96. "I'm not going to take my chances just asking blindly. Need to read up, do some research or something." He sighs wistfully. Vodhan was effectively useless - but at least he was trying. The part about not taking it literally also stuck with him. In much the same way as he had learned his first magic...
  97.
  98. Perhaps finding his Star wasn't as direct as looking up, but rather... looking in?
  99.
  100. "I already know who I am, I'm pretty sure. Never really had doubts about that. So I'm sure I'm just missing something important." He shrugs.
  101. (Robin)
