  1. Summary Points not covered before
  2.
  3. =
  4.
  5. Recently, I finished translating EVERY SINGLE MONSTER SECTION in the Iceborne guidebook. In celebration of this achievement, I'm gonna be listing off additional points for every Monster not covered in the original summaries!
  6.
  7. Here are the additional summary points for Monsters not covered in the previous two summaries for the ecology pages for Monsters from Dive to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne:
  8.
  9. Beotodus
  10. - Been seen sunbathing near hot springs
  11. - Hunts by sneaking on prey from the snow, leaping from the snow when it sees an opening to stab them with its horn
  12. - Prefers places where soft snow accumulates instead of hard ground
  13. - Beotodus's legs are its weakpoints
  14. - It's unique among Piscine Wyverns for the "fins" on the sides of its head and thighs that help it steer in snow and cover prey in snow to tire them out
  15. - Because it often covers itself in snow, its bright belly is rarely seen
  16. - It has surprisingly high kinetic vision and can sharply capture the movements of its prey
  17.
  18. Banbaro
  19. - If there's any dirt or rocks that it has scraped off and put into piles, it will use them as obstacles, destroying them i its charges to scatter fragments against enemies
  20. - It feeds on soft roots and tree shoots using its horns to knockdown trees or dig up snowy ground, and also feeds on insect larvae it digs up for protein
  21. - Its nose horn and the two head horns are used to hold fallen trees in place
  22. - The clumps it digs up will have different elements depending on where it did so, like Fire Element when digging up lava or Effluvium when throwing clumps in the Rotten Vale
  23. - It's vulnerable to being toppled by flinching attacks or Slinger ammos like Scatternuts and Crystalburst during charges
  24.
  25. Viper Tobi-Kadachi
  26. - It sunbathes in light that shines into its caves, and Fulgur Anjanath is the only Monster that competes for territory with it in this area
  27. - It's improved in gliding capabilities compared to Tobi-Kadachi due to evolving in areas without trees and is particularly good at braking mid-air using its membranes
  28. - It gets tired easily
  29.
  30. Nightshade Paolumu
  31. - Its Sleep gas is dense and stays on the ground, with which Nightshade Paolumu uses its rubbery tail and wind pressure to disperse it around, a behaviour not seen in normal Paolumu
  32.
  33. Coral Pukei-Pukei
  34. - The water it spits out is for sapping away enemies' stamina
  35. - It'll rehydrrate from moss growing around the map in prolonged fights.
  36. - Its water attacks were adapted for combat and not just for daily living
  37. - Its tongue can block its water beam's flow to split it into 2 smaller beams
  38. - Although differently coloured, it changes colours for similar emotional expressions as normal Pukei-Pukei
  39.
  40. Barioth
  41. - Some of its multi-faceted attacks involving pouncing from terrain haven't been seen before its discovery in the Hoarfrost Reach
  42. - Even in the Hoarfrost Reach, it makes its nests in frozen caves and prefers to roam frozen terrain
  43. - It uses its ice breath to freeze enemies and limit their movements
  44. - Its front legs help it hold down prey
  45. - It doesn't flap its wings often and mainly glides
  46. - It has poor footing despite its large size and relies on its wing spikes to maintain its grip without slipping
  47. - Its spike tails scrape ice and snow when it swings it around and splashes them over enemies
  48. - The forelimbs with wing spikes are made of one large bone and can be opened and closed as needed
  49. - The number of spikes on the middle finger is different on the front and back
  50.
  51. Nargacuga
  52. - Prefers a relentless and cunning way of fighting, specializing in moves that take advantage of agility to toss its prey around
  53. - It moves so much and quickly that it circumnavigates the blind spots of enemies
  54. - In the Ancient Forest, during the day, they wander from north to west, basking in the sun, preying on Mernos, and drinking water on the west side of the forest; at night, it wanders from the east to the south, eating Aptonoth and drinking water
  55. - Its long tail, which is about half his length, helps control movement and posture
  56. - The protuberances on the elbows and the tight skin without slack are characteristically folded during normal walking
  57. - It has a structure in which two blades (bones) overlap like a bird's wing, and the smaller outer blade is hidden underneath
  58. - When it pounces on its prey, such as in combat, it opens its blade wings to increase its lethal ability
  59. - They have high visual acuity and excellent hearing for catching prey in the dark
  60. - A single blow from its tail can be lethal
  61. - The act of raising the tail and turning slightly is to raise the spikes for flight, as well as for intimidation; the Slinger's Sonic Pod can be used to great effect against Nargacucuga during this act
  62. - It mainly uses its tail against enemies, and will throw spikes from it if an enemy is at range, but the number of spikes can be reduced by cutting off the tail
  63.
  64. Glavenus
  65. - It uses the axis of agile movement to toss around enemies with nimble steps and big jumps
  66. - Its flame-like back protrusions seem to have a texture comprised of a mixture of minerals
  67. - By unleashing a heated tail attack, the body becomes heated, and it becomes a state called "Red Fever"
  68. - The tail, when red-hot, creates flames when it's swung and scrapes the ground
  69. - After it reaches the Red Fever state from the normal state due to the accumulation of frictional heat, it returns to the normal state when it cools down and sharpens its rusty blade with its mouth
  70. - The tail will become more easily severable while it's red-hot due to its softness in exchange for sharpness
  71. - It raises its tail in anger and threatens with a roar, showing its hostility
  72. - Around its body, the heat exhaust protrusions on its back are reddish and covered in black smoke
  73. - When Glavenus becomes excited due to anger, its body temperature rises, and the blood flow throughout its body turns Glavenus's body red
  74. - By accumulating melted lead from sharpening its tail in its Molten Bursa, it becomes red-hot and can be spat out as a highly flammable breath that causes a large explosion when mixed with air and the ground
  75. - Some say that Glavenus's face looks like an anvil
  76. - The Molten Bursa has the potential to explode from impacts
  77.
  78. Tigrex
  79. - Retains a primitive skeletal structure and specializes in activities on land, but is not good at flying
  80. - They are ferocious and greedy, and if they are for looking for prey, they go to various regions regardless of temperature or environment
  81. - Tigrex's roar utilizes a special internal organ called a "Screamer Sac" that can create a shockwave that requires shields to protect against
  82. - When it satisfies its hunger, it quenches its throat with a drink of water, which it repeats twice before it goes to sleep
  83. - It has remarkably strong front and hind legs, as well as powerful jaws; while holding down prey with its front legs, it bites with the power of its jaws into its prey
  84. - When excited with anger, it becomes reddish because the blood flow of the whole body stands out, raising body temperature and improving muscle strength
  85. - It doesn't have a habit of throwing rocks, but isn't adverse to it either and can throw 3 rocks out with a push of one of its front legs well over 30 metres
  86.
  87. Brachydios
  88. - Even a frontal hook that flicks its front legs can scare off a Hunter.; a quick turn that it uses to get behind you is also a threat
  89. - The green slime mold that clings to its head and front legs is activated by components contained in its saliva, causing an explosion, and licking the part where the slime mold has decreased promotes activation
  90. - Its personality is ferocious and combative
  91. - It weakens enemies with slime mold and knocks them down with its front legs
  92. - Its shell reflects light and emits a glow, and its deep colour and hardness are comparable to obsidian
  93. - The slime mold on the head is particularly sticky, and if you step on it, you'll get stuck
  94. - In the active state of the fungus, it seems that the slime mold is attached to the whole body, but the slime mold on the head and both arms is the most common and probably just spreads to the epidermis
  95. - It's thought that Brachydios secretes some kind of chemical substance that makes it possible to determine that the dormant spores have been trampled, but the details are unknown
  96. - It uses the slime mold on its horn that it pierces into the ground to release the surrounding slime mold from its dormancy, causing chain explosions
  97. - It has a particularly strong sense of territory and is considering to be extremely aggressive, and is allowed to grow in the territory of its parents while it's juvenile
  98.
  99. Shrieking Legiana
  100. - Compared to the normal species, it handles colder air more powerfully, and it also exhibits new characteristics adapted to cold climates
  101. - The cold air it emits freezes its prey, allowing it to corner it and capture it from overhead
  102. - Legiana don't have a habit of migrating, but they have excellent sensory organs and homing instincts, and any change in the environment affects those sensory organs, causing them to go mad and causing large-scale damage; this forced them to migrate
  103. - The parts covered in frost are called "Frost-Covered State"
  104. - The areas where secretory glands are particularly concentrated are the thorax, hind legs, and tail
  105. - In a frosty state that secretes a large amount of freezing liquid, it creates a mass of cold air at the same time as it attacks
  106. - The body colour appears whitish, probably because frost adheres along the secretory glands
  107. - Compared to the normal species, the range of attacks with the claws on its hind legs is expanded
  108. - The frost covering on its chest not only accompanies cold air to its charge, but it also seems to affect the width of the cold it shoots from its tail
  109. - It shoots cold air straight from its chest and radially from its tail
  110. - A decrease in offensive power due to the destruction of body parts was also observed
  111. - They have a favourite foothold of sheer rock that it surveys its territory from high up where none can reach it
  112. - This species prefers preying on Anteka since they have more flesh than Wingdrakes and can take in more nutrients such as fat and protein
  113. - Legiana in the Hoarfrost Reach live in groups
  114. - The great technique for killing prey is commonly known as the "Hunting Dive" and does this by freezing a wide area of the ground to limit escape routes, and then swooping down from the sky to attack its prey
  115. - It's somewhat larger than the normal species and isn't good at ground battles
  116. - If it's in a battle with an enemy, it'll throw the leftover corpse at the opponent
  117. - Like the normal species, it's weak against Poison that upsets internal organs, and when it falls into a poisoned state, its movement slows down
  118.
  119. Fulgur Anjanath
  120. - It has been witnessed preying on a variety of Small Monsters, including Popo
  121. - It has the property of storing electricity in the skin around its mouth and back with each attack, and strengthening its body with the power of lightning
  122. - Fulgur Anjanath, which accumulates the electricity generated by its movements within its body, has a power-generating organ in which muscle cells have changed, and that certain movements such as attacking are accompanied by the action of storing electricity
  123. - The high level of aggression, such as continuous biting and mow-down, surpasses that of the normal species
  124. - If it becomes excited, the amount of power it carries increases as the amount of movement increases
  125. - Because its jaws are so strong, even a seemingly simple biting act will generate electricity, and even other actions will gradually apply electricity
  126. - Has a wing-like sail formed of curved cartilage extending from the hipbone that's densely packed with capillaries and is used for body temperature regulation like warming the body by sunbathing and dissipating heat that has increased significantly due to excitement
  127. - It spurts mucus from its large, exposed nostrils to mark and attack and they're an important part of the electricity storage connected to the oral cavity
  128. - Its wings and nostrils are normally closed, and are opened and closed as needed, and are always open when excited
  129. - It has a white skin, a yellow head, white body hair from the neck to the back, and black stripes all over its body
  130. - Its tail has the same raised hair as that of the normal species, with a portion of its hair being used for bristled attacks and electricity storage; it also plays a role in grounding to release and control electricity
  131. - The mucus produced by this species has the property of being easily charged
  132. - In the electrified state, mucus and bites, later deodorization, are also accompanied by electric shocks
  133. - The strong static electricity causes the fur to stand on end, and gradually the oral cavity, nasal cavity, and wing-like coverings begin to show strong luminescence
  134. - When it's exhausted, it can't store electricity and doesn't become charged
  135. - It's possible to release the electrified state by continuously attacking the head and causing it to fall over
  136.
  137. Acidic Glavenus
  138. - When exposed to air outside the body, the liquid it produces from filtering absorbed Effluvium instantly crystallizes and sticks to its tail
  139. - Raphinos are what it preys on, and there's no problem even if they have been affected by the Effluvium
  140. - When it actively moves its tail in battle, the secretory glands are activated and the amount of acid secreted increases
  141. - Since acid corrodes armour, it will be necessary to take measures to reduce Defense Down
  142. - Research results have shown that elemental attacks, starting with the Fire Element, are effective due to the characteristics of the Effluvium
  143. - The state in which acid crystals have grown extremely large is called "Crystal-Increased State"
  144. - The state in which the crystal-increased tail is ground in minutes and the acid is removed is called the "Sharpening State"
  145. - Both its movements and the sharpness of its tail become dull in its Crystal-Increased State, but in Sharpening State its movement speeds up and its tail's lethality also increases
  146. - When movement becomes sluggish, the Crystal-Increased State makes its attack range wider than you can imagine, so cutting off its tail will lower its abilities
  147. - Acidic puddles can be seen in many organisms from the beginning, but they're the result of rainwater flowing in from the Coral Highlands mixed with air and raining down as acid rain, decomposing debris in the upper valley
  148. - The corrosive liquid secreted by Acidic Glavenus is a type of acid that's produced when the carnivorous microorganisms in the air decompose and the now unnecessary toxins are discharged
  149. - The pose in which it holds its sharpened tail bent is unique to this Subspecies
  150. - Its sharp tail, which can be called a blade, is a little smaller than the normal species', but its muscles are supple and developed, allowing it to perform delicate movements
  151.
  152. Ebony Odogaron
  153. - Has Dragon Element in the claws on its legs and fangs on its head
  154. - Even in the face of an Elder Dragon like Blackveil Vaal Hazak, it doesn't hesitate to grapple with it
  155. - Actively tries to increase its physical ability by becoming Berserk through consuming meat
  156. - Exhibits unusual ferocity, perhaps due to the influence of the Dragon Element that resides within its body
  157. - Entire body is blue-black, and the red accents on its upper body are ominous; perhaps the influence of Dragon Element is reflected in its claws, which are dyed red and black
  158. - Has uncontrollable rage, such as counterattacking without hesitation
  159. - In Berserk Mode, the Dragon Element that concentrates on the upper body is activated, creating a terrifying look with red electrical light and black smoke leaking out of its mouth
  160. - After Berserk Mode ends, exhaustion becomes more intense
  161. - It doesn't have much power, but there are reports of people getting distracted by the breath and losing sight of Ebony Odogaron, receiving a powerful blow from their blind spot
  162.
  163. Velkhana
  164. - The outer shell, which is made of special ore, deteriorates due to battles and aging, so regular maintenance is necessary
  165. - The ore in the outer shell is a kind of "volcanic glass" that's produced only under a special environment
  166. - It repairs the outer shell by rapidly cooling the magma and enveloping it, and a large number of ores with similar properties were also found in the area believed to be Velkhana's nest in the Hoarfrost Reach
  167. - Some researchers say that the borderline between white and blue looks like a flower petal, and its shape makes it easy to store magma
  168. - The bluishness of the outer shell is affected by the ability to generate Supercooled Water
  169. - It has a bird-like face and a head with impressive horns and a shell shaped like a gorgeous crown called a "Crownhorn"
  170. - Its most terrifying attack is releasing all of its accumulated Supercooled Water called "Absolute Zero", but this act is risky for Velkhana as well, as it loses the accumulated Supercooled War and the ice that clings to it
  171. - The accumulation of Supercooled water can be suppressed by breaking parts, Fire Element attacks, and the Slinger's Flinch Shot to disable its "Ice Encrustation State" where ice encrusts its body
  172. - Some reports say it even changes the weather when it reaches its maximum amount of Supercooled Water
  173. - While covered in ice, Velkhana's various attacks are strengthened
  174.
  175. Seething Bazelgeuse
  176. - Has a habit of scattering explosive substances called "Burning Scales"
  177. - Because it has a strong sense of territorial control over the Elder's Recess, it will unrelentingly and mercilessly attack any enemies it encounters
  178. - Can scatter explosive scales during specific movements and has the ability to accumulate power and increase the number of explosive scales it scatters
  179. - It's able to control the secretion from its secretory glands, such as tightening the explosive glands with force
  180. - Has exploding scales that are always in a red-hot state, making them dangerous
  181. - According to the researcher's opinion, it's possible to store more energy at a higher concentration by settling in the Elder's Recess, which is rich in Bioenergy
  182. - Blast Fluid accelerates heat generation with the impact of falling to the ground, causing an explosion after a while, and in a red-hot state has a short time until it explodes
  183. - The components of the bodily fluid secreted from the Fuses of the Variant are different from those of the normal species, making it possible to accumulate high-concentration energy, creating a state called the Crimson State that produces amazing explosive power
  184. - Red-hot Blasting Scales further raise the temperature, and the state in which they react from red to a colour close to purple is called the Crimson State
  185. - The amount of heat stored can be measured from the degree of discolouration
  186. - During battle, the amount of heat increases, and the fluid that changes to black and white increases, and when it reaches the extremes with its head and tail, it unleashes a "Great Bombing Attack"
  187. - Crimson State scales stick to the point of impact
  188. - The amount of heat it has accumulated in Crimson State is unmatched, and its power unparalleled, but the number and frequency of Blasting Scales it scatters from its head and tail also increases
  189. - It's possible to prevent the transition to the Crimson State by continuously stimulating the parts that are becoming red-hot
  190.
  191. Blackveil Vaal Hazak
  192. - The yellow-white spores released from the sporangia float in the air
  193. - It still absorbs Effluvium from Small Monsters affected by Effluvium and uses it as a source of energy
  194. - It takes in the Effluvium from the surrounding creatures that are affected by sporangia and Effluvium and spits it out as a breath
  195. - Sporangia can propagate Effluvium
  196. - In its "Large Spore Release", masses of gigantic thoracic spores called megaspores are scattered, increasing the concentration of Effluvium around itself all at once
  197. - Clumps called sporangia are attached to the left and right sides of the thorax, thorax, and base of the tail, and live symbiotically
  198. - Some wonder if the large spores affect the atmosphere as well, or change the weather
  199. - While the spore blocks the light and leaves the head unexposed, the effect of the Slinger's Flash Pod won't work
  200. - In the Ancient Forest, there were a series of reports of Small Monsters going berserk due to the Effluvium like Mernos, Jagras, and even Aptonoth which is a mild-mannered herbivorous beast
  201. - The sporangia reacts to targets that Vaal Hazak itself doesn't regard as enemies
  202. - The more steam wrapped around Vaal Hazak, the more the spores become more active, and the frequency of spore release increases
  203. - Sporophylls are independent biogroups, although they sometimes eject spores in response to the movement of Vaal Hazak
  204. - Since Vaal Hazak uses Effluvium to extract energy from living things, it would normally be unable to store sufficient Effluvium outside of the Rotten Vale
  205. - According to the research team's analysis, fungi that form sporangia were found not only in the Ancient Forest but also the Rotten Vale
  206. - The fungi that live in the Ancient Forest are more active, and that's why they produce more Effluvium
  207.
  208. Namielle
  209. - There were some discrepancies in the written descriptions, such as "it had an eerie glow", "I could not see the light", "it was very colourful", and "its body surface had a plain colour"
  210. - The body surface whose colour changes depending on the amount of water and the light-emitting organs that surround the body
  211. - Has its own power-generating organ within its body, and by sending an electric shock toward the water it releases, it threatens to cause a large explosion
  212. - Tries to eliminate enemies with water first, but even if it doesn't hit the enemy directly, it forms a puddle around it
  213. - In addition to mowing the ground with a breath of high water pressure, it spits out water globs around itself
  214. - When wrapped in water, the colour of the body becomes more vivid and its luminescence becomes brighter
  215. - When the water it retains begins to dry up, its body colour becomes dull and its bioluminescence becomes weak
  216. - When electricity storage is fully charged, a jade-coloured wave pattern emerges on the wing membrane
  217. - Suction cups line the soles of its front and back legs, but their specific use has not been clarified
  218. - Lateral spikes are used for electrical discharge
  219. - Brightmoss, which absorbs moisture, can eliminate puddles
  220. - "Thirst State" is when it has lost all water on its body, and with no water to protect its skin, it becomes vulnerable to physical attacks, slows down, and goes for aggressive hydration
  221. - The colour scheme that separates the upper and lower surfaces of the body is a type of camouflage known as countershading
  222. - As for luminescence, it tends to be thought of as electroluminescence because it has a power-generating organ in its body, but it's actually bioluminescence
  223. - The remarkably large wing membranes make it easy to catch updrafts blowing over land coral plateaus, and many speculate that they may sneak up from the sky and prey on their prey
  224. - The area where the soft land coral that absorbs water grows is unpopular for watering, so it's rare to see them going there for purposes other than water resupply
  225.
  226. Savage Deviljho
  227. - It's in a state of extreme starvation and the urge for food makes it more active
  228. - It's easily angered and its ferocity spurs it
  229. - Its appetite control function has gone out of control and it's always hungry, has a high metabolism, and fights fiercely
  230. - They're always hungry and eat endlessly, but they're said to be angry because of their insatiable hunger
  231. - There's a high possibility of luring it by placing raw meat in the area, and it intentionally attacks other Monsters for hunting purposes
  232. - It's always hungry and drooling, but its hunger urge wins and it never shows fatigue; its saliva contains strong acidity, which corrodes armour
  233. - When it eats its prey, it stores energy and amplifies the Dragon Element energy that circulates throughout its body
  234. - From the bulging muscles that spread out, uncontrollable Dragon Element energy leaks out, creating a sinister appearance of reddish-black lightning crackling
  235. - In its enhanced state, where Dragon Element energy is overflowing from its head, the power of its entire body seems to be dramatically enhanced
  236. - Even if you get close to the head, you will be eaten away by the Dragon Element energy and your physical strength will be stolen; there were quite a few people who got stuck in the head with the Clutch Claw and were killed in return
  237. - In addition to predatory behaviour, attacks such as biting and the act of holding Large Monsters in its mouth are also food for strengthening its Dragon Element
  238. - Research results show that weapons that emit Thunder Element are extremely effective
  239. - You can weaken the Monster by applying a strong impact as it counterattacks from a flinch
  240. - It uses a variety of breaths that emit Dragon Element, such as straight lines and mow down, and continues to breathe at its feet to cause an explosion
  241. - It always aims for the big game, and it seems that investigators are less likely to be targeted when Large Monsters appear nearby
  242.
  243. Ruiner Nergigante
  244. - In addition to its original recovery ability, it has the property of growing stronger and sharper thorns as its physical strength declines
  245. - It doesn't use the attacks seen in other Elder Dragons and hunts prey using only its own body as a weapon
  246. - Nergigante's transformation into a Variant was inevitable in order to prepare for the coming threat and can be said to be a harbinger of further threats
  247. - When the black thorns are destroyed, the enhanced regeneration ability will immediately grow white thorns
  248. - Except for the Ironspikes, it has the habit of destroying the hardened black thorns and scattering them
  249. - The thorns it destroys immediately regenerate, super-regenerating from soft white thorns to hard black thorns
  250. - Weapons with Elderseal are effective against black thorns that are repeatedly destroyed and regenerated, and you can also destroy them by using a Dragon Pod
  251.
  252. Shara Ishvalda
  253. - At the tip of its wing legs, it has the ability to liquefy the earth and change the terrain using a certain oscillating organ that generates powerful vibrations
  254. - Strong vibrations traveled through the ground, causing resonance and reverberations that were manifesting in various places as eerie sounds
  255. - Certain frequencies are known to have unexpected effects on living beings, and the reverberating frequency of the "song" drove the Legiana's homing organs out of order, causing them to behave abnormally
  256. - The appearance of Monsters in areas different from their original habitats and the awakening of Elder Dragons are due to the effects of the vibrations and accompanying crustal movements
  257. - Even in a rock-coated state, the vibrating organs of the wing legs are activated, making it possible to move underground while liquefying the surface of the earth
  258. - The body covered with underground rocks is called the Rock-Clad State, with ores such as sansekite contained in the crevices of the deposited rocks and the tips of its wing legs being shaped like a flat mallet
  259. - Even on the Origin Isle, it causes crustal movements during battles with Hunters, changing the surroundings to its advantage
  260. - Strong vibrations generated deep in the earth cause unprecedented crustal movements due to repetition and amplification, and the scale is such that it splits the Hoarfrost Reach, causes an avalanche, and makes on mountain disappear
  261. - The wing legs stand out for their peculiarity and must have originally been wings, with the membrane that hinders underground life has degenerating
  262. - The entire wing leg becomes a vibration amplifier, matching the frequency to a specific position and generating a shockwave
  263. - Explosions of the ground that have become particles are due to liquefaction from vibration shockwaves
  264. - Some people described the wings as arms and fingers growing on their backs, rather than wings
  265. - It moved along the flow of the Everstream and periodically caused crustal movements
  266. - Its eating habits are still unknown, but the most likely hypothesis is that it moved at regular intervals in order to absorb energy from the Everstream
  267. - It may created the Rotten Vale on the continent, so the crustal movement caused by Shara Ishvalda can be considered the foundation for creating a new ecosystem in the long run
  268. - Was able to stay unaffected while Xeno'jiiva attracted many Monsters
  269. - In the Eye-Opened State, makes its attacks even more ferocious since it moves faster
  270. - Those who can't escape from its range are threatened by the Destruction Lotus Cannon, which has such high power that it literally turns them into dust
  271.
  272. Zinogre
  273. - lives mainly in places with severe height differences, such as fresh green terraces and mountainous areas
  274. - Individuals encountered by the expedition are excellent in response to engagement, changing the coordination of attacks with enemies due to their distance and position
  275. - In addition to storing electricity due to the special properties of the shell and body hair, they have a symbiosis with a small monster that generates a small power called the Fulgurbug
  276. - Its majestic appearance has begun to be seen in the Ancient Forest and Coral Highlands
  277. - Emits a bluish-white luminescence due to the electrical discharge and draws beautiful lines all the way to its tail
  278. - The double horns on its head have a unique shape with countless holes
  279. - Most sightings are of adult males, which might be because it's the males who supply food to the herd
  280. - Zinogre distributes the electricity of the Fulgurbugs with which it lives symbiotically with through its charged hairs
  281. - When the amount of stored electricity reaches its limit, Zinogre opens its storage shell and releases a super-charged state that can maximize its power generation capacity, and the electricity enhances muscle strength and allows for agile movements
  282. - It's possible to reduce the amount of electricity stored according to where you hit or when it falls, but if you can collect a Fulgurbug from its back when it falls, you can get a large reduction effect
  283.
  284. Yian Garuga
  285. - Has been witnessed fighting among members of the same species, but there have been no examples of it getting along

  296. - Can sometimes be seen spitting out moggies, which are environmental creatures that it swallows together
  297. - Shows a movement similar to Legiana's attack, swinging its tail with poisonous spikes down in front of it
  298. - There are many situations where fatigue accumulates and it lands after attacking, probably due to its low constitution
  299.
  300. Brute Tigrex
  301. - Powerful roar surpasses that of the normal species
  302. - Its form of hunting of frequently delivering roars accompanied by shockwaves is more violent than the normal species
  303. - Roaring ability is nurtured by its excessive amount of exercise
  304. - Has a well-developed sense of smell, often smelling blood and stealing prey caught by other predators
  305. - Inhabits the Rotted biome instead of the Volcanic biome due to how easy it is to get meat

  309. - Back strength of this species greatly surpasses the normal species and Subspecies
  310. - In terms of appearance, including the gold-like outer shell that reflects light and shines glossy, there's no big difference from Rathian and the Subspecies
  311. - Though there are some differences in the texture of the hair and the pattern of the membrane, these are partly changing shape as the hardening part of the outer shell spreads
  312. - Strength of the venom emitted from the spikes on her tail is incomparable to that of the normal species and Subspecies and called Deadly Poison
  313. - May have even transformed by ingredients such as ores
  314. - In the Guiding Lands, her and Silver Rathalos have overlapping territories in the Volcanic Region where they meet and pair up
  315. - Incandescent State is formed from the heat generated by intense exercise that's stored in the Flame Sac inside the body, and from the mouth to the neck and chest, her figure seems to be accumulating, leaking out a bluish-white glow of high heat
  316. - The flames that remain on the ground cause a chain of extremely violent explosions upon contact with further Incandescent Breaths
  317. - The flesh of the head in an Incandescent State is markedly hardened, but you can calm down her Incandescent State by accumulating damage to her head
  318.
  319. Silver Rathalos
  320. - Him and Gold Rathian, who are seen as mates, prioritize eliminating enemies above all else and work together in cooperation
  321. - Behaves on the ground in a variety of ways that aren't seen in the normal species and Subspecies
  322. - The majority view is that the Rare Species encountered in the New World are different from the populations that migrated from the Old World
  323. - The special environments that are considered unexplored in various places give birth to beings called Rare Species
  324. - Incandescent State comes from an internal organ filled with dust that ignites just by touching it
  325. - Everstream energy circulates his habitat, and the environment and his diet gave the organ that allows for the Incandescent State some kind of strengthening effect
  326. - Even while taking in air from the mouth when moving, he remains on the verge of igniting inside the body, which led to the strengthening of the body to withstand it
  327. - It's possible that both of them have already lived for a long time under the same environment
  328. - Doesn't show fatigue in the Incandescent State
  329.
  330. Rajang
  331. - Called the "Golden Lion" because of the way its bristled black hair changes to a golden colour when enraged
  332. - If it encounters another Large Monster, it seems to turn its attention to that
  333. - Has a distinctive appearance with a monkey-like upper body and a cat/beast-like lower body
  334. - When enraged, part of its back hair stands on end and turns golden in a state called "Fighting Spirit" due to electricity generated within its body dying its black hair a golden colour
  335. - In its golden state, attacks using electricity will intensify
  336. - When enraged, the power of its attacks increases as well as its agility
  337. - Since it can move its hands like Humans, it can grab things and use walls to hold itself up if its about to fall
  338. - It's omnivorous
  339. - Rampage Mode comes from it raising its fury and demonstrated when it roars violently and emits a shockwave to the surroundings, causing its muscles to swell reddish-black due to electrical stimulation, further hardening the internal matter of its front legs
  340. - It normally avoids Pitfall Traps when not enraged, and it destroys Shock Traps with all its strength during Rampage Mode
  341. - When switching from Fighting Spirit to Rampage Mode, the state of anger will be extended by a large amount, break parts of the arms can shorten it
  342. - Careless Clutch Claw latchers will be pulled off and put into a pin attack
  343. - While the flesh of its front legs is hard in Rampage Mode, its lower body is relatively soft, and if the tail is damaged at this time, Rampage Mode is released
  344.
  345. Stygian Zinogre
  346. - Has a habit of collecting beetles called "Dracophage Bugs" that act like "dragon-killing fruits" and possess Dragon Element energy
  347. - Shell ridges have properties similar to how electricity is used in the normal species and play the role of absorbing Dragon Element energy from Dracophage bugs and amplifying it
  348. - Strong front legs, which are filled with Dragon Element energy, generate tremendous power, greatly surpassing the normal species
  349. - Repeats the act of absorbing Dragon Element energy, and when the accumulation reaches a certain amount, it manifests the Dragon Lightning Clad State and, like Zinogre, the horns and dragon shell are facing upward and the claws on the legs open
  350. - Its supercharged state hardens the flesh of its whole body
  351. - Catching Dracophage Bugs on its back with a Capture Net while it's downed also reduces the buildup of Dragon lightning
  352. - After obtaining Dragon Element energy from the bugs and entering the Dragon-clad state, the amplified Dragon Element energy is given to the bugs to activate them
  353.
  354. Frostfang Barioth
  355. - Its breath, which freezes anything it touches, seals the footing of its prey, restricting their movement
  356. - Their movement on the ice is more powerful than that of other species
  357. - They are excellent individuals that have survived in harsh regions where food is scarce even in the Hoarfrost Reach
  358. - Its pale, frozen tusks aren't much different from those of the normal species in length and size, but their sharpness is overwhelmingly different
  359. - Around the head and on the front of the front legs, hair that's normally not seen in other species can be confirmed and may have evolved as self-defence against the extremely cold breath it exhales
  360. - The flames of the Slinger's Torch Pod are effective in removing and preventing the frost remaining on the ground and should be used in conjunction with the Iceproof Mantle that softens the freezing conditions from its breath
  361. - There was a colder place deep in the Hinterlands from which it came
  362. - By continuing to spit out a cryogenic breath, the protruding fangs have turned into ice blades

  365. Furious Rajang
  366. - The investigation team was greatly surprised by the fact that it appeared in the Rotten Vale where Blackveil Vaal Hazak roamed
  367. - Fighting Spirit consumes a lot of Bioenergy, and the burden on Rajang itself is also very large
  368. - Releasing the Fighting Spirit state on its own when a short-term decisive battle can't be achieved is due to an instinctive restraint
  369. - In its normal state of Fighting Spirit, it can easily destroy the Pitfall Traps that Hunters set up
  370. - Has a hidden Fighting Instinct that's incomparable to normal individuals
  371. - Stimulation applied to the tail gives some kind of shake to the Rajang's emotions
  372. - As a result of the muscles expanding too much due to the electrical stimulation of Rampage Mode, the tail, which had the control function, couldn't withstand the load and was lost
  373. - The stronger the individual grows, the brighter the golden colour of its hair
  374. - The ones with conspicuous stripes are still growing
  375. - Rajang's body hairs have a special hollow structure that conducts electricity, each one of which is tubular, and the electrical energy generated within its body travels through its cavities, filling the whole body with power
  376. - A stimulus big enough to destroy the tail suppresses the Rajang's rage, so this aim is meaningless for this species
  377. - Stimulation of the horns for Furious Rajang has calmed its Rampage Mode and rage state
  378. - Instead of pouncing to counter attack after being staggered towards a wall, Furious Rajang fires a beam around itself instead
  379.
  380. Raging Brachydios
  381. - It's only found on Ingle Isle in the Old World
  382. - Even in the Guiding Lands, activity seems to be visible only in a very narrow area centred around the Volcanic Region
  383. - There are rare cases of slime molds that don't germinate and become buried in the stratum and enter a dormant state, emerging on the surface due to magma eruptions or ground fluctuations and displaying a dangerously activated state that produces tremendous explosive power
  384. - The increase in weight proportional to the size of its body and its relationship that suppresses the impact on the slime mold that's attached to it makes its overall movements a little heavy
  385. - The slime mold attached to its head, front legs, and tail drips to the ground and explodes when impacted, and takes less time to explode than normal slime molds
  386. - An impact from Watermoss and Water Element weapons are useful for eliminating and neutralizing slime mold
  387. - Ore components that can only be produced in high-temperature and high-pressure environments were detected from the surface of the shell and are partially the reason for the more greenish body colouration than usual
  388. - In order to avoid self-harm due to the explosions, when the activation of the slime mold progresses to a Critical Mass, it scatters a large amount of slime mold over a wide area in the form of self-excretion
  389. - Has special behaviours not found in the same species in the Old World
  390. - From its head and forelegs rises a smoke like steam when down to its last legs in the Volcanic Region
  391.
  392. Safi'jiiva
  393. - Circulates energy that can be generated within its body and doesn't need energy intake from the outside
  394. - With the ability to absorb Bioenergy from the earth, it transforms the surrounding ecological environment
  395. - Affects Bioenergy veins, attracting creatures from different habitats
  396. - Outer shell forms complex layers and patterns during the growth process that repairs wounds by promoting metabolism with internal energy
  397. - Each one of its shells and scales are extremely hard, and combined with its muscular strength which has achieved tremendous development, it boasts a tough flesh just like armour
  398. - There was no small amount of fragility in the joints of the outer shell
  399. - Heals wounds by letting its own internal energy help it tremendously accelerate the metabolism of the injured area, with absorption of ground energy being replenishment of energy for what it consumed to heal
  400. - Has a short but bifurcated tongue
  401. - The base of the upper wing bone that supports the large wing and the area around the anterior membrane have particularly strong muscles
  402. - The spikes on the tail, which were small in juveniles, have also grown large and increased in number
  403. - Demonstrates the ability to explode the earth vein energy when it hits the ground with its limbs and tail
  404. - Supercritical State is a form in which the internal energy that circulates through the veins of the whole body is accumulated in the light-emitting organs in the chest, unleashing Safi'jiiva's power but softening its flesh
  405. - After maturing in the Secluded Valley and producing multiple offspring there, it may have went to the Confluence of Fates and dropped a Sapphire of the Emperor there that created Xeno'jiiva so that each of its offspring would have enough energy for themselves
  406. - The Xeno'jiiva in the Confluence of Fates could grow faster than normal thanks to higher energy concentrations
  407. - May also cause a cave-in when it hits the ceiling of the final level of the Secluded Valley by swinging its breath upwards
  408.
  409. Alatreon
  410. - Its existence is such a taboo that people even hesitate to call it by its name
  411. - Said to be the strongest Elder Dragon that makes even gods fear it, and there are many who worship it as a god
  412. - The rumour that it looks different depending on who sees it is probably one of the reasons why it's deified
  413. - Characterized by a texture reminiscent of metal
  414. - The Reverse Scales are called "Mantles" and contain traces of all elements
  415. - The scales on its chest protect it from erupting magma and boiling water geysers
  416. - Has a long neck and resembles Kushala Daora, but its neck and tail are thick and strong
  417. - The horns of the head, which have a characteristic bifurcated shape, have bones that look like splintered horn cores
  418. - Scales slide due to pectoral muscle contraction
  419. - When sprayed with flames, flammable liquid is ignited and if lightning strikes, the icicles generated on the ground explode
  420. - Its elements can be manipulated regardless of its active state, such as lightning strikes over a wide range and a water breath
  421. - The difference in activation state can be visually recognized from the changes of the colour of the light that leaks out from the gaps in the scales and shell
  422. - Requires a huge amount of Dragon Element energy to switch between Fire and Ice and is trying to amplify the energy in its Dragon Active state
  423. - The horns receiving a severe impact while Dragon is active will temporarily interfere with elemental control
  424. - In its Dragon Active state, the fluorescent parts on its body emit a faint purple light, its body is clad in red and white Dragon lightning, and it can manipulate all five elements including Fire and Ice
  425. - In order to recreate the environment and ecology that were remodeled by Safi'jiiva, Alatreon may have been needed to destroy everything
  426. - The extreme shockwave containing all elements that releases the concentrated power of Dragon Active state all at once is called "Escaton Judgment", has power comparable to a natural disaster, and may not be an intentional attack at all but simply the release of tremendous power when transitioning to Fire/Ice Active state
  427. - Transitions to either a Fire Active state with a large-scale explosion or an Ice Active state with the generation of countless ice crystals and, with the power of scorching heat and freezing, even the surrounding scenery changes drastically
  428.
  429. Fatalis
  430. - A legendary dragon whose name has been passed down since ancient times
  431. - It's said that when the kingdom reached the height of its prosperity, it destroyed the kingdom and settled in its castle
  432. - Known as the "Black Dragon" due to its ominous appearance with its grotesque body dyed in jet black, it has been feared as an evil dragon that transcends living beings and possesses overwhelming destructive power
  433. - Murals of the tragedy brought about by its existence are left in various places around the region, and it's believed that Fatalis actually existed because it continued to be an ominous threat in oral legends of the Wyverians
  434. - The line sung in the nursery rhyme, "When the world is full of wyverns, The legend is revived", has been interpreted in various ways depending on the era
  435. - There's also a legend that says, "It was a black Elder Dragon with large horns and wings. Its appearance is unlike any other Elder Dragon we know of."
  436. - If it's a being that nests in the distortions of the world, it's no surprise that it transcends time and space
  437. - The eerie sky that spreads out in the rain makes the existence of Fatalis even more fantastical
  438. - Its fine scales and skin wrinkles are noticeable, and the carapace is scarce
  439. - Until it unleashes the first "Erasing Fire", it seems to be preserving its strength and mainly engages in hand-to-hand combat on the ground while mixing flame breaths, not even showing the slightest hint of being threatened
  440. - When it's crawling on all fours, some may attempt to fire a Flinch Shot, but many Hunters clinging to its head were exposed to hellfire pouring out of its mouth
  441. - Unraveling the traditions and documents that suggested "burning everything down", comparing and scrutinizing the information, it was confirmed that this was not a metaphorical expression, but a fact
  442. - For an enemy that survived the first "Erasing Fire", it hunts them down with more violent movements such as breaths from the air and attacks by gliding, and if pushed further, releases the power that it was suppressing
  443. - Many lives were miserably scattered in front of its breath, which wiped out everything in all directions from the state of crawling on its stomach
  444. - Four large and small horns that undulate in distortion, emitting a mysterious charm that shines black and boasts tremendous strength
  445. - If you can destroy the horns, you can suppress the power of its breath
  446. - A Black Dragon whose name is left in legend as the threat that destroyed a country
  447. - It may have come from a parallel world outside of the time and space of the MH world, which may have credence based on rumours of a traveler coming from a distortion in the desert
  448. - Fatalis may have been repelled from such a parallel world and ended up in Schrade when a distortion was opened up there
