Yea, it is kind of scary to be moving into a new place, but hopefully it'll be fun too! I know I'm glad to have you with me finally.

*sigh* It'll be an adjustment, but I hope you'll find that living with me is just as nice as living at the shelter. Even though my apartment is pretty small, it's still more spacious than that little room you lived in.

*car door open SFX* Alright, we're here; get your things for me and I'll show you which apartment I'm in.

*door open SFX* Well, this is my apartment! Right now I only have the couch and my bed, but I'll take the couch for the time being until we get another mattress in for you. To be honest, I kind of got ahead of myself and asked if you wanted to come home with me before I had made arrangements to-- hey, sweetie, you look really pale. Are you feeling okay?

*sigh* You know, when I first moved out I was a mess. It was such a massive change for me that I could barely leave even to go to work. I'd stay inside for as long as I could because it was too overwhelming to do anything else. I imagine it's the same for you.

I know you've been in the shelter for a few years, you had a schedule, an order to how things went and now everything seems so chaotic, no structure. But, I can tell my boss that I've adopted you and work from home this week so I can stay with you and make sure you've adjusted, okay? Would you like that?
