PS3 CFW Guides: Fake Bluray (100% Compatibility) [DEX Req]

This is a my guide on how to install the fake Blu-Ray

Stuff need:

1: A PS3 on CFW with "DEBUG OPTION" (I use Rebug 3.55.3 and 4.30.2+),
2: A usb hdd (formated to fat32)
3: A usb stick (2gb or under)
4: a ftp program (i use filezilla)

Fake Bluray disc for 100% compatibly discless or broken bluray drive. Requires user to be in DEX mode or DEX CFW to fake the bluray drive.

On to your PC,

1: Now connect your usb hdd and open ps3gen and right click on ps3gen.exe and run as admin

2: Goto "Command" and go down to "BD Emulator HDD Utility ..."

3: Now find the new usb hdd you are going to use and in the bottom left click "Format HDD for BD Emulator" Click ok/yes on all questions.

4: Now in ps3gen click on "Show in the top right

5: Now click on "Disc Image File" and then click "Select File ..." and find the file that contains the PLAYSTION3.iso

6: Now click on "Save / Eum ..." and pick the first Blu-ray slot and save when done close ps3gen

Now on to your PS3

1: Connect the usb HDD to the far right usb port on your PS3

2: Turn on your PS3 and go to the "Debug Settings" and find "Blu-ray Disc Access" click on it and set it to "BD Emulator (USB)"

3: Reboot you PS3 and if all went well you will see "PS3" logo in your Game list

4: Now open multiMAN(DEX) and goto your games and change all your game settings and set them to "Game Disc"

5: Now when you go back to your PS3 menu and when you select a game to start you will see the "PS3" logo now says what ever game you have selected and load it from here
