Officers:

Captain - Master of the Ship (Jensen)

First Mate, Executive Officer|Operations Officer - Responsible for safety and security of the entire ship and crew. Chief Officer of the Deck Department, responsible for general day-to-day operations of the ship as well as managing cargo, leads the first watchshift. (James)

Second Mate, Flight Officer - Chief Officer of the Flight Department, responsible for navigation, guidance, FTL jumps, piloting & course corrections, atmospheric entries and flight planning. Leads the third watchshift.

Ship's Purser - Chief Officer of the Steward Department


Flight Department:

First Helmsman - Certified Flight Crew, Lead Pilot

Second Helmsman - Certified Flight Crew, Assistant Pilot

Navigator - Certified Flight Crew. Responsible for plotting jumps, astrography, spatial positioning.

Sensors Calibration & Flight Command Systems Technician - Does all the avionics work and manages the sensors.


Engineering Department:

First Engineer - Chief Officer of the Engineering Department. Responsible for structural & mechanical frames. EVA specialist.

Second Engineer - Responsible for Propulsion & FTL drives.

Third Engineer - Responsible for Power Generation, Storage & Distribution

Information Systems Technician - Manages all the computer systems.

Communications Systems Technician - Runs the communications systems.

Environmental Control & Life Support Systems Technician - Does waste, water, air, gravity, heating, ventilation & cooling systems.

Data Collection & Management Technician - Controls all the data gathering systems and databases.


Science Department:

Botanists/Gardeners: Experts in of the scientific study of plants. They make sure that the plants get the attention they need and divert oxygen to life support systems.

Researchers: Researching plants in zero gravity, and how well they grow in an oxygen rich environment with very little natural sunlight.

Cryobay Operators: Those in charge of making sure people in cryobay stay alive during their sleep.


Crew Members:

Loadmaster - In charge of the cargo loading/unloading operations. Also keeps track of the ship's stores.

Head Medic: Acting medic for all personnel and in charge of handing out tasks to other medics on board. - Medical Department

Civilian Liason: Crew need a POC (point of contact), diplomatic negotiations need to occur, he's your man.

Security/Marine/Ground Officer: In charge of close-quarter boarding/repelling party, crew member extration and general all round infantry style ops  ( Acting sergeant Dutch, Magnus )

Spiritual Advisory: A Priest who guides those who need spiritual advice or comfort. (Kravitz)

Head Chef: Chef in charge of all the little chef-lets and servers. (Taako)

Janitorial Staff: In charge of cleaning up everything those pesky officers don't.

Micrometeor Shield Engineer (ie hull patcher)

Exterior Hull Maintenance Engineer (ie hull patcher)

Solar Photometry Engineer (ie solar panel patcher)

Extraordinary Refuse Guidance Engineer (ie garbage collector)

Optical Photometry Engineer (ie porthole replacer)

Audio Electronics Maintenance Engineer (ie radio repairmen)

Physical Environmental Maintenance Engineer (ie janitor)

Fluid Systems Engineer (ie plumber)
