What is pixel code means and why you need it Pixel code - special element of tracking your conversions from Google Analytic and various social networks, like a FB , Vk and etc. Pixel code helps to optimize campaign build targeted audience for future ads and remarked to qualified leads - people who have already taken some kind of action on your website. Facebook “officially” moved to just the one pixel in early 2017, officially phasing out the “conversion tracking pixel” How to use a pixel code We’ll explain on example of FB , how to add the pixel code in our system Step 1. Adding a pixel code There are two ways of adding pixel code 1. Adding pixel inside of offer : if you want to promote one offer with the given pixel , you have to do the following Copy the sample pixel code from within your Facebook campaign Open the SETTINGS section in Adcombo Click on the offer that you want to promote Paste the code in the “Pixel code “ script ( don’t forget to insert your Pixel ID in the appropriate place) Click “Save” 2. Adding pixel in SETTINGS : if you want to promote more than one offer with the given pixel , then you have to do next actions Click copy pixel code on your Fb Open the OFFERS section in Adcombo Paste the pixel code - all inside of tag <script> - in column PIXEL CODE Click on “Save” NOTE: You can use the pixel code either only in SETTINGS or only inside the offer. Pixels installation in both SETTINGS and inside the offers do not work correctly when use simultaneously
