The skinner has escaped from prison, the night on which he escaped was the 16th of Jukas (Currently the 19th). He escaped without the bars of the cage being broken. The face of the guard who was on duty that night was cut off, Khyvar's calling card.

On the night of the 18th two reports were delivered to Prinmyre barracks. One from the cloud district. At 23:10PM a body was found in an alleyway, their face cut from their body. A man who matches the description of the Skinner was seen fleeing the scene. The victim, Jenna Von Kraus, was found by Jeremiah Zheen. A Zone of truth test was taken and it appeared that Jeremiah was innocent, he claims he did not chase the skinner as he feared too much for his own life.

In Pikebrigh, on the same night at 23:15, 5 minutes after the first murder, a man was found by two half orcs. The man was named Malcovich Igni, a tiefling.  The Two Half-orcs chased the figure, one of them was killed during contact the other fell unconscious from blood loss. The brothers were Duff and Jok Turbek. Duff awoke from consciousness and was saved by a passing by cleric, his brother's face was peeled off. The killer seems to be taunting the guards.

"The Jester" Dagonet Verence can be found in his cell, sitting still. The guards claim he hasn't moved in two nights, he is positioned in a meditative stance. His hands are locked in wooden hand-cuffs and mouth gagged, this is to restrain him from spell-casting. During this time he has also gone on hunger strike. He is known for his wits and tricks, he is what many call an 'Arcane Trickster'. Originally the jester of a wealthy noble, he fell in love with the daughter of the noble, when his love for her was rejected he killed her fiancé before fleeing the city in his only clothes, a jester's outfit.
If the jail cell is opened and Verence's body touched an arcane flicker bursts from the body as an illusion spell fades. The face morphing into one the guards. This man has not been reported missing. If his wife is visited she says that he went to work early this morning, his shift hasn't ended yet. He usually works late nights. She says that the 16th of Junkas her husband will have been on duty, his shift finishing just after midnight. He clocked off as usual and returned home. She remembers him coming home and getting into bed.



A large bull-man has been spotted in Pikebrigh, he has caused some trouble in a tavern after having arguments with the inn-keep about staying in a room while the place was fully booked. Upon reaching the town some guards look suspiciously at Garrus and mis-identify him as the previous minotaur, claiming he is a culprit.
