Sunrise Hotel:
Desk Lady: The lady sitting at the desk. She's not too perky for her job, but she isn't necessarily hostile. She's also "that woman" I think this chat log describes it:
"Her name's something like Deborah or Brenda, and she's kind of cool, but is a little behind the time. She wears tacky stuff, and her desk is covered in various bobbleheads of characters like Garfield and Charlie Brown, and has a bowl of peanut m&ms in colors that match the season"
She has various mugs in the employee's lounge that she bought for the staff to use. They usually say stuff like "I Hate Mondays," "#1 Employees" and various inspirational quotes. Even if they're kind of tacky, the other employees still use the mugs because they appreciate her getting them new mugs.
She has two kids and runs a book club every week. I think it would be cool to allow players to attend her book club and even befriend her. This *could* give the players a permanent discount for using the hotel

Maid, Janitor, Cook: The woman who keeps the hotel from falling apart, named probably Santangalitina (San-tang-al-i-ti-na). She's this middle aged woman who barely speaks, and her face is perpetually in a glare that says soemthing like "I know what you're thinking and I'm judging you for it." It's the type of face that would make you put back a cinnamon roll if you grabbed too many in the breakfast eating room thing. Deborah wants to invite Santangalitina to her book club, but doesn't want to bother her with it. The player might be able to help Deborah and get Santangalitina to the book club with her. Dunno what the player would get from this, perhaps an item to use for a monster

Pianist: The guy who just sits in the hotel lobby. He's a blonde man in his late 20s to early 30s named Dan whose job is to fill the lobby with [i]music.[/i] Dan is a very upbeat person and greets people in a singsong voice when they walk into the hotel. He knows how to play the accordion, flute, synthesizer, triangle, and bassoon.

Boutique-
Boutique Person: The boutique person is an anthropomorphic goat named Gary. Ever since he was a child, Gary had a passion for flowers. Although his family would eat dull things like fruits or grass, Gary farmed flowers and implemented them in every meal he ever made for himself. Players can call Gary to reserve flowers (for example, someone calling to reserve 50 Carnations on Valentine's Day so no one buys them before they get to the store) but he'll most likely eat the flowers before they could get to the store. One of his favorite activities is to make sandcastles, and can be found on the beach trying to make life-sized replicas of Middle Age castles out of exclusively sand.

Cafe-
Waiter, Barista: A man in his early 20s named Sam. He is the younger cousin of Dan and is being constantly pressured into becoming a musician like him, though he's currently in college studying Avian Biology. He's really susceptible to compliments on what he makes, and will lower the prices of what he makes in a heartbeat to anyone who likes his cooking.

Close-Up Magic Shop-
Magician: He's this tall, slender man with a mustache about 3 times wider than his head, his name is "The Wonderful Waluigi." Waluigi works to create and sell Spells to make ends meet. He's known to be the greatest Close-Up Magician in town (although he is the only Close-Up Magician in town). He has a large ego, and if he performs in front of the crowd, the attention he gets goes to his head. Unlike other merchants, if he finds out that someone [i]really[/i] loves the Spells he creates, he will charge more for them. If they act snobbish or indecisive, he will eventually lower the price down.

Bakery-
Baker: A man in his late 30s who was born with a passion for baked goods, named Felix. He own four cats and lets them run about in the bakery, they're good cats though, they don't bite. He wears tacky feline-based shirts. He really loves cat clothing too, and will eagerly trade baked goods for stylish clothing for his cats. When not working, he's often found at a nearby animal sanctuary or working in the community garden.

Beach: The beach is similar to any general beach found on the west coast. It's often windy on the beach, and sea shells can often be found within the sand and be sold for money. If the player is looking for clues to find any aquatic monster, an item will often be found for it in the sand. Gary will often be found here

Sea Lion Cave: The player can come here to see what the seaside town is famous for: the sea lions. Here, the player will have the chance to see the elusive Sebastian the Sea Lion. Players will also be able to buy things like mugs, t-shirts, shoes, coloring books, and even bikes with Sebastian the Sea Lion's face on it.

Community Garden: Players can buy a plot of soil at the community garden for $5 and get the opportunity to plant up to four different types of plants, which might take a few days in real time (probably about 5) to fully grow. Felix can often be found here.
