  1. Weapons:
  2. General approval of weapons having smaller margins for degrees of success as they get heavier (eg 3 load weapons succeeding by 3 deals 2 damage).
  3.
  4. General agreement that weapons should not be limited by departments.
  5.
  6. General agreement: There should be a standard stock of weapons on-site for people to be able to pull from at short notice, if they want to swap up the kind of weapon they have on them. PaulS is apparently a gunsmith, I asked him for a list of weapons that might fit that sort of description. This is preliminary and not final, but I wanted a starting-off point.
  7. -----
  8. <PaulS_laptop> Snowshoe: Pistol: Glock 19, Sig P226, Beretta M92. Submachinegun: H&K MP5, MP5k(short version, should have pistol load weight). PDW: FN P90, H&K MP7. Shotgun: Benelli M1014, Mossberg 590A1, Remington 870. Rifle: M16A4, M4A1. Sniper Rifle: AR-10, Remington 700.
  9. <PaulS_laptop> Snowshoe: the guns I listed are all in common service in the First World, in police and military settings, and are the most common weapons in their respective classes.
  10. <PaulS_laptop> basically, you could walk into any armory in a first world nation and find at least one from each class
  11. -----
  12.
  13. Some agreement: Melee is derived from (Agility + Strength) / 2.
  14.
  15.
  16. Load:
  17. Make more things cost no load. Things that go in pockets and such.
  18. -----
  19. <Snowshoe> As I said above, I think it's somewhere that we'll just have to opt for a purely game-based system instead of one that's based in reality
  20. <PaulS_laptop> indeed
  21. <PaulS_laptop> I agree with that part
  22. <PaulS_laptop> I just mean that it really penalizes players just for the sake of a mechanic
  23. <PaulS_laptop> players aren't able to bring things on runs without it being in Load, yet, they can't carry much at all of small, useful items that make doing their job or finding non-killy solutions possible
  24. -----
  25.
  26. Dice:
  27. Roll 4df instead of 6df. Makes it less likely glacon will fuck you over, makes whatever stat you have more meaningful because you can't totally bomb a roll.
