  1. Observing the fantastic success of The New Halaima Code of Conduct and its enforcement wing, CODE, in reducing the number of botters, bot aspirants, or otherwise detestable elements in the High Security space of EVE Online, I wrote this document based on said Code of Conduct, hereby establishing The North American Artillery Code of Conduct [NAACC], and its enforcement wing, titled NOARTY. The purpose of The NAACC, much like its spiritual predecessor, is not strictly to punish artillery players for playing artillery, but to reform them and turn them into better players and people. Only unrepentant artillery players will face severe consequences.

  11.
  12.
  13. Noting that the will of the People has always been counter to that of artillery, and even after successive nerfs to artillery, the People's demand that artillery be removed from the game has not been met. Therefore, the People of the North American cluster do establish this set of rules to clean up our proverbial streets on our own accord:
  14.
  15.
  16.
  17. 1. Botting and bot-aspirant behavior are not permitted - this applies to all vehicles, not only artillery. One must avoid not only botting, but even the appearance of botting - this includes being AFK, failing to respond to agents of NOARTY in chat, using a trackpad, and in the case of artillery, failing to reposition after every shot.
  18.
  19. 2. Any man can be an agent of NOARTY, provided that he dutifully adheres to and enforces the NAACC, and does not have an artillery in his garage currently.
  20.
  21. 3. The NAACC is a social compact - it is valid in all Random Battles, and everyone who enters a Random Battle is in agreement with these terms.
  22.
  23. 4. Before levying any punishment or requesting anything of an artillery player, agents of NOARTY must identify themselves as such.
  24.
  25. 5. Artillery players should be courteous towards all players at all times - but especially towards NOARTY agents.
  26.
  27. 6. Any artillery player that breaks rules 1 and/or 5 may be requested by agents of NOARTY to leave the battle or destroy his/her own vehicle.
  28.
  29. 7. Artillery players that further fail to comply with rule 6 may, with one warning, be forced to comply by any means - including forcible destruction of the player's artillery.
  30.
  31. 8. Artillery players are required to say "good fight", "gf", or "thank you" if destroyed by agents of NOARTY.
  32.
  33. 9. Excessive artillery playing is not permitted - artillery players who are found to have over 50% battles played in artillery may be required by agents of NOARTY to sell all of their artillery and provide proof to a NOARTY agent in the form of a screenshot following the sale of each individual artillerypiece.
  34.
  35. 10. NOARTY agents are to be immune from all artillery fire, friendly or hostile - this includes accidental fire, so pick your shots carefully.
  36.
  37. 11. If an artillery player commits multiple violations of rules 1 or 5, and/or one or more violations of rules 8, 9, or 10, his name will be written on a ledger by agents of NOARTY from which it cannot be removed, except by selling all artillery and providing proof to a NOARTY agent as described in rule 9. Players whose name appear on this ledger will be spared no mercy by NOARTY agents, and are to be shot on sight.
  38.
  39. 12. NOARTY agents are prohibited from recognizing the authority of forum/game administers other than Overlord.
