Physical Features: muscular and broad with a strong chin about him. Bright blue eyes with Long white hair down to the middle of his back. Because of having both Demonic and Angelic blood within him, his body ages with time. Though slower then mosts, he will eventually die of old age. When one looks upon Gabriel they see a rather old looking man, his age unguessable. All would agree he looks like an old sage.

Bio: Gabriel Dark was born by his mother, Laria Dark; a seraphim in the kingdom of light. Laria was raped by Lucifer himself. After escaping back to the lands of light, Laria found she had become pregnant. Fearing for the child she pleaded to keep it, the order of angels allowed it; though they were upset and shunned her. Laria Dark gave birth to Gabriel Dark somewhere around 2 BC around 2am. The birth was hard for her, the demon inside of Gabriel clawed and snarled in revulsion. But it was accomplished, and Laria Dark held her son for the first time. Laria was a master at purification and seals. After tedious work she was able to seal away Gabriels Demon until a day where he may be able to control its rage.
A century passed by till Gabriel was allowed to take the trials to earn his wings, and even then it was scrutinized and frowned upon. Passing with flying colors, Gabriel had earned his wings and a following of Hate for who he was. After gaining his wings, Gabriel was instrumental in several important events and climbed the ranks fast. After 500 years he was at the rank below that of a seraphim. In order to complete his training; he was told. He would have to travel to earth, where he would have to live with the earthlings. He was instructed to help all those in need and to teach what knowledge he had to those who would learn it.
Gabriel set forth on his quest. He spent years searching for a place to call home again, even for a while. He found work as royal advisers and scribes at various kingdoms. But he never stayed to long, he never felt as though he belonged. After much wandering he found the lands of the Vampire's Directory. An odd name, for an even odder place. The land was filled with Vampires, Demons, Elves, Drow and every manner of beast. He found he rather enjoyed the place and soon found it comfortable there. There he met Cassandra, his future wife. She was the local taverns inn keeper and found her company enjoyable in the drafty inns main hall. Joking and flirting made up his life at the time and soon he found himself falling in love. But the lasting peace was to soon, and lasted to short.
One evening a man of dark and evil entered the tavern, filling the entire tavern with a sense of repulsion and attraction. Gabriel Dark immediately felt uncomfortable, but more so then any other of the taverns frequent visitors. He felt a connection to the man, a strange sense about him. He revealed himself later as Gabriel's brother, Mephistopheles.
They didnt like each other, at first anyways. They bickered and fought constantly. Mephistopheles could sense the demon within his brother and after a fitful confrontation released it. The sheer force of over 500 years of demonic energy trapped, released full force almost destroying his brother instantly.
After a battle that almost destroyed the entire kingdom, Gabriel was able to finally control the raging demon within. Mephistopheles from then on tried to re release the demon, seeing that it controlled enough force to help him destroy the world.
After this Gabriel fell more in love with Cassandra and after a touching dance upon a frozen lake filled with the lights of Gabriels and Cassandra's fairy friends. He proposed to her, they married soon after. They lived for a time in the tavern, both running it as Husband and Wife. Gabriel found he helped many in the tavern still fulfilling his mission to help those in need, even if they were the damned. Soon, they had a daughter, and they named her Natasha. Being the daughter of so two extremely powerful beings Gabriel feared for her, his fear where unfounded as she grew to be a wonderful woman filled with light and mirth.
Years passed by with no word from Mephistopheles and Gabriel had thought his brother had given up on re releasing the demons power buried within Gabriel. His hope was destroyed when Mephistopheles re appeared and began to taunt and to goad him. Gabriel wished his family well as he sent them off to fight his brother on his own terms. In a battle that shook the heavens, Gabriel gathered his allies, the few angels who sided with Gabriel and the spirits of those he had helped cross the ethereal planes.
The Vampire Directory was destroyed in the process, but his brother's body and soul were shattered. Gabriel wandered for a time after this, until he was once again reunited with his family. The happiness wouldn't last as Cassandra and Gabriel grew farther apart. They separated for a time, and in this time Gabriel completed his Mission to become a seraphim.
But those of the Angelic order would still not accept him within their fold. They granted him the rank of Seraphim, but they would not allow him to live with them. He traveled, heartbroken. After a while his heart mended and he founded the Lurid Kingdom, in a small niche of land he claimed as his own. He accepted another woman as his queen for a time, her name was Ember. They lived happily for a time, but Gabriel missed his family and he disliked Ember's out bursts of rage. After such an outburst Gabriel couldn't stand it anymore and gave her an ultimatum, leave or change. She chose to leave and Gabriel sent word to his wife for her to return to him. She did so happily, she was apparently waiting for him, forgiving him of all of his past transgressions. Cassandra walked the halls and appeared before him, a bundle in her hands. Presenting the bundle to Gabriel, he withdrew the linen blankets to fine a young child. Another daughter, in which she had been named Alice. His joy only seemed to grow from day to day as he spent time raising and teaching his children, as well as re-aquanting himself with Cassandra. With his family restored and complete once again, Gabriel began to expand his kingdom. Soon it grew to be in the empire of the Nature's Circle, where he happily aligned himself there with them. Finding it enjoyable to advise and direct a kingdom again. In this time Ember rounded about again, coming to the kingdom revealing a secret she had kept for some time. That when she left, she had found herself pregnant. She presented a child, whose appearance and manner were at least twice her real age. Her name, Crystal Star, and Gabriel found her pleasing and he took her into his house hold. Proclaiming her blood and introducing her sisters to her. It seemed every day, happiness abounded about him. It grew and grew, but even he knew, that one day. Things would need to balance out, and they did. Cassandra, under the cover of her shadows, went into into her realm, where she was an acknowledged and well known shadow user and assassin. There she was issued a challenge, not much is known what happened. But what is known is Gabriel received a messenger, proclaiming his wife's Death. Gabriel with drew into himself and disappeared. His story of his travels are written and recorded in the royal histories of the land. When he returned, he came back a new man. He had aged even more so since his wife's passing. And his memory was beginning to slip, he resigned himself to only ruling his kingdom. But fate has a funny way of changing a persons plans, when he had finally resigned himself to death. He sat in his throne, the halls empty and the fae told to scatter. His body petrified, and suspended itself, his last thoughts were of his first and last love. 100 years would go by, Gabriel had thought he had died, but instead he was awoken. He sensed the presence of someone nearby, someone wandering these sacred halls. His mind already shattered and broken from the 100s of years trapped in his own grief. Gabriel's jointed creaked and cracked, his eyes flashed red as his skin cracked and fell away. Revealing the black skin of a demon underneath, his form rose out of the rose vines that had covered his body. There he found a woman, a lone woman, thin and sickly looking, but the face stopped his mind short for a moment before rage finally completely took over. That face, looked to similar to his dead wives and that could not be accepted. But before he could kill her, she revealed herself in fact to be Cassandra Dark's soul in another's body. Reunited again, Cassandra helped Gabriel revert to his younger more healthy form and they decided to live away from all things from now on. Only stepping out of the shadows to help those truly in need of their assitance. Sometimes they can still be seen in various taverns around the world, testing their spirits and commenting on the decor.
