Name: Corrupted/modified version of "Bar-son"
Description:
The son of the "Pirate King".
Motivated by vengeance.
Personality:
Burton was Barth's son, and grew up in the Pirate Throne in the same profession as his father. He ended up as one of Barth's captains, leading out and pillaging in the Pirate King's name. At some point, they commandeered a massive Rigelian warship, and the *Gargoyle* has been Burton's pride ever since. Burton and his crew were out on a raid to Novis Greatport when Celica arrived and killed Barth, and when the mercenary returned to the Throne and learned of his father's death, he (and a group of Duma Faithful he had granted passage) set out to avenge the murder.
