  1. Born in the backwaters of the the sea, Sendo was a kid of few words. He simply washed up on shore and was admitted to an orphanage where there he would most likely rot away as a misfit like the rest. Yet as soon as he became of age to do so, the kid was able to liven up the area with melodies! Be it a proper instrument or with the things in his surroundings, he was able to make songs that still are played in the village pub to this day! Many had wondered where such a golden player such as himself could've come from- Who they were... Well.
  2.
  3. He only had one thing that he even brought with him that was of note to those in the facility-. Sheet music. It carried a melody that not a single person could bring to it’s full glory. Although it was the talk of the town for the longest of time, it was as if it’s beauty was tucked away by god-like musical skill. Due to his discovery of such a anomaly, he was granted the name that was associated with the piece-.
  4.
  5. They tried having him go about playing the piece, but he simply lacked the skill. Even a Prodigy in musical instruments was unable to play this piece properly. -Of course this led him to asking who had gone about making this to begin with and one thing led to another...
  6.
  7. The story slipped out about the origin of his name and upon realization that his name was apparently someone else's, he immediately begged someone to take him out to sea in search of this illustrious ‘Portamento’. -And immediately was denied on the grounds that he was much too young to handle the harsh seas. His random points of bad luck led him to his lucky break, his only chance to shift the tides of the world, his only chance to find himself-. Even with all his guardians preventing him from going through with his dream and overarching goal to figure out more of his past, he had one person who kept incentivizing him to shoot higher than that! To the stars even!

  9. A Pirate of all people was one such a character. A rookie fella that would periodically pass by the island for a restock of supplies. A man made of 'paper' had been what they referred to him as, though he only ever showed this ability to the townsfolk when an uppity citizen gets cocky. Besides the troubles he occasionally brought, most of his time on the island was used to drink and celebrate! As well as discuss his many tales.
  10.
  11. His talk of trailing the Grand Line and reaching the very ends of the world always were being told to young Sendo! For years he was taught tips, tricks, and the many rumors that filled the hearts and minds of Pirates. The seeds of adventure had been planted in his mind and he promised that he would fulfill his goal no matter the cost to the figure-. Once old enough, he had even scored himself a job to raise the beri for basic gear! Everything had been going just fine for what many assumed would be a nobody orphan...
  12.
  13. Yet because of all of his big talk and his cocky attitude led him down the path of destruction when the Marines had caught wind of the Pirates constant arrival to the island.
  14.
  15. The Pirate had been brought in from sea and, in an attempt to scare any up and coming pirates in his land, was executed for his crimes. His last words went a little something like this: “I know there is someone out there that must be in search of something! Adventure, Riches, and what have you! Take my death as a message! I don’t regret a single moment I spent out on those seas! Don’t let them deter yo-”. Many shed tears to his death while others cheered at the idea of another criminal falling to justice.
  16.
  17. -This, to some, might pass this off as nothing but a dead-man babbling, but there is always more to tell! Sendo, now working for a small fruit stand, was there to witness his death himself. It was words that he could definitely live by, but he just didn't have the push, the drive to continue forward anymore after watching his hero die. The freedom and lack of restriction to reach ones goals and dreams was something everyone wished they could pull off, but could he really do it without him? That being said: Even though they perished, their spirit and very being moved into one person in the village and their ability...into one of the tangerines he was meant to be selling.
  18.
  19. This...was a sign. A contract with a now dead Pirate to continue his legacy through the fruit...
  20.
  21. The rest? Is history.
