Blue looks to have the most depth as well as power with excellent flyers at common.  There are other cards that are competing with 3rd best common in quench and prying eyes.
Red and black are just stacked on removal.  There doesn't seem to be much on creatures outside of a high cost option for each.  Red also has access to what is likely the best single colored common in the set.
White and green seem to be lacking especially compared to the other colors.  I struggled to find a great card in either color without looking to gold cards for help.  They both have quite a bit of depth at the C to C+ level, but nothing that pulls you in.

Azorius just has two of the strongest gold commons in the set and access to senate griffin.  It also has a lot of depth in blue, although white support isn't great.
Simic and Gruul gold cards look fantastic, and have access to depth in blue and red respectively.
Orzhov and Rakdos look the weakest on first glance.  They each have access to a 1st pickable gold common but things drop off fast after that.  They seem a bit shallow compared to other guilds, but nothing to the level of Selesnya / Golgari.

The guilds all look pretty close to me.  Nothing stands out like Dimir or green unplayability like it did when the GRN spoiler was released.  This set looks great so far.

Senate griffin is fantastic and will be played in 3/5 decks.  Skewer just looks like the best single colored common but will only be played in 2/5 of the decks.  The others are just the best 3 gold commons, I'm not sure if these should be above other strong single colored cards.
