  1. [16:26:14] Journey!
  2.
  3. Thom would have made his way towards Cinderfall, deciding to get out of Nostvale after being tired of the city a bit. It wasn't that it was a bad city... Ok take that back. It wasn't like it was a bad city to him. The orange haired boy just felt kind of.. Bored.
  4.
  5. And so it would be that he decided to travel! Putting on his pack the hellstorm controlling youth would have begun to cross Nostvale's prarie, heading towards the base of the Eternal Flame. The boy had little idea of what things may be on the way to the base.
  6. (Thom)
  7. [17:04:38] She wanted nothing to do with Valmasia.
  8.
  9. The Snaib'sel Kaor Yokai did not wish to be involved with Valmasian affairs. All the inhabitants, annoying as they were, could do as they pleased. She was not interested in removing human kind, or the Yokai of the west in power. She was only interested in herself, in her own growth and whatnot, not with the main affairs, issues of the continent.
  10.
  11. There was many better, more beneficial things that the Yokai could do, be it feasting, continued growth, or obtaining new knowledge, new information. Specifically? The world in which she resided in, this curious realm, how it all came to be, why she as a Yokai was compelled to seek furthered development, hunger striken for an eternity... whatnot. But focus now, back to the present day that was today:
  12.
  13. The Trystle caverns, home to various foreboding creatures, and a good amount of Yokai. Large, dark, this was indeed the perfect settlement for the Erebus Kaor. Snaib'sel backwards was a direct counterpart to Yag backwards, such Yokai... probably existed at one point. But unlike the latter, she would perhaps -not- name her settlement up above... her name's 'Peak'??
  14.
  15. Here would she stand, at the front of the Trystles, looking upwards... Thom would have been able to spot this hulking mass from afar, coincidentally... blocking his path!
  16. (Snaib'sel)
  17. [17:55:50] Oh no a monster!
  18.
  19. Thom would have come across Snaibe'sel when head back towards Cinderfall it seemed. Oh woah was his luck.. If only he actually thought that way. The grey eyed boy would instantly be aware the creature before him was a yokai.. Or maybe a really good mimic.. But that didn't matter.
  20.
  21. What did matter was that it was showing up and blocking his way. The young hellstorm mage wasn't really scared of the big yokai, ever since he had punched on in the face oh so many years ago. And as such he zapped right up to them, a pouting look on their face.
  22.
  23. "Hey!!! I need to get through!!"
  24.
  25. Thom declared, staring at the massive creature. Doing such as a child was likely a death wish, but Thom wasn't ever really aware of such dangers. Or at least, became less and less fearful of them as he got older.
  26.
  27. "Moooooooove. Please?! I said please!"
  28. (Thom)
  29. [18:04:22] The rocky structures were nice for sure, but the cold temperatures that might exist up above, without being frigid... suited the soul of the Snaib'sel indeed. Not a deathland like the Frostvalian woodlands, but a cave with tunnel systems, and many edible nutrients... Yokai to be feasted upon.
  30.
  31. A good enough place to lurk within, to set as 'home' for the many, many years to come. Tl;dr, becoming your average cave npc Yokai slash monster.
  32.
  33. The Erebus Kaor was disturbed all of a sudden however, turning around to witness of a small humanoid in front of her, yelling for her to move, as though commanding. And perhaps it was a joke, but did the Thom pleaded 'please' to her, in such an angerful and desperate tone of voice? This would not do.
  34.
  35. "And what makes a lowly being, -yourself- think, that you can command the likes of -me-?" Spoke the Snaib'sel telepathically, giving an echoey, eerie effect, edgy. "What would yourself do, if I do not move?"
  36. (Snaib'sel)
  37. [18:08:38] Edge? In front of Thom? Wasn't that bad? The orange haired boy took a hand to his chin, thinking for a moment. Was he supposed to hurt yokai? The Eternal Flame had that whole mercy thing going on didn't it?.. So he wasn't supposed to hurt them if they weren't being bad.. So confusing.
  38.
  39. "Hey!!" The boy shouted however. "Making short jokes isn't nice!" It appeared that he had taken the 'lowly' insult a rather differnt way then the kaor intended it to be. "And I don't wanna command you. I wanna tell you to move a little.. I gotta get through. There's stuff that I gotta do in the cave." The boy said calmly, crossing his arms over his chest.
  40.
  41. He appeared to be ignoring the edge completely. Instead he just looked like a little child throwing a bit of a fit, blue and red sparks cackling around him.
  42. (Thom)
  43. [18:17:10] "Did yourself really think that I intend to be -nice- to yourself?" She queried.
  44.
  45. The Kaor instantly knew for when the Thom made the notification of what she said regarding 'lowly', low-key refering to the puny human's height... She intended not of this - she understood not of human jokes. And she could not comprehend, how one could become offended by a lack of a tall status when it could be advantageous, how certain Kaor Lords throughout the long history of the continent, had been as small, as minor as butterflies......
  46.
  47. The Kaor had her arms folded.
  48.
  49. And she took notice of the reddish and blueish sparks of lightning that appeared and danced around the Thom's form occasionally. Fair concentrations of Occult energy, she would add! Appearing to be a powerful humanoid, the few that could wield magic and not be fodder, likewise to the bandits that she had assaulted way back in the Sarab Deserts...
  50.
  51. "If yourself seek passage and possess such powers..." And so she questioned, out of mere curiosity, "Then attempt to plough through -me-, for I refuse commands from the likes of yourself - I am clearly beyond yourself in the food chain."
  52.
  53. Well, it was less of a question, and more of a, you guessed it. Command.
  54. (Snaib'sel)
  55. [18:22:17] Thom pouted once more, but then again what did he expect from yokai? Especailly after that first one he had met in hte water. They knew how to play human emotions and stuff.. But it wasn't as if Thom was entirely bothered as he had been waiting for a chance to fight something for a while. The boy took a few steps back, red cackling energies continuing to surround him as he grinned, reaching into his pocket.
  56.
  57. A headband would soon be tied around his forehead and a pair of goggles were to be put around his eyes. The grey hues focused on that of the massive stature in front of them as they took a glaive off of their back and spun it a few times. Almost ready. The eyes closed and the youth imagined the doorway in his mind, reaching towards the handle and grabbing onto the knob. After a moment he slowly opened the door, drawing forth the power within.
  58.
  59. "Lets do this!"
  60.
  61. The boy called out, grey eyes snapping open as a small blue figure seemed to appear, hovering around him, about two feet high and staring at Snaib'sel and letting out a cakle.
  62. (Thom)
  63. [18:34:14] The Thom did not technically throw away his moral codes that was to not hurt those whom were not intending to do bad things, but the Snaib'sel was -that- 'bad thing'. But only due to her abruptly deciding to threaten the pre-teen with a battle declaration. Without that, with a clearer mind, she would have suggestively asked the Thom, that if he possessed great powers, then why not use them to force her to leave?
  64.
  65. But she was moderately irrititated, by the fact that this human thought that he could order her around, command her to move away, simply thinking as though he could -dominate- over her? A single battle, would prove what is fact and what is fiction.
  66.
  67. "So be it." And the Thom agreed to the battle, enthusiastically.
  68.
  69. Down to the mana circuits, the mana that had flown from her very own soul within began to emit from her form. Amazing, yes? That as monstrous as they were... Yokai, they possessed souls. But, not in a metaphorical sense. The mana of the Snaib'sel would have become changed, corrupted by her dark essence, turning the pure blue mana... and generating, processing them, into Darkness magic. An unconcious effort, as with how her blood was stained with Occultism......
  70.
  71. And greatly did she began to, relentlessly, throw outwards a variety of darkness embedded attacks, energy projectiles. Be it dark, explosive spheres that fired from her mouth, or the 'scorchings' of the ground by corrupting, life-taking Occultism, both inflicting Occultic 'burns'... and give the eerie, cold feelings of dread, of horror, of discomfort...
  72.
  73. But this was a human of Occultism, an Occultist, perhaps powerful as well. One might not be able to predict the outcome, as both beings here? Were to cause havoc in this particular area of mother nature.
  74. (Snaib'sel)
  75. [18:35:56] {combat} Snaib'sel has been defeated by Thom! They're unable to continue fighting.
  76. [18:40:12] That could have been a lot worse.
  77.
  78. Thom would have dashed forth very quickly, releasing a large wave of flames from his hands but at the same time the ground under him became lit up with occultic energies. That wasn't good and so the youth quickly made a detour, stepping away from the darkness filled ground and lobbing forth a bunch of lighting bolts and spheres. He turned into one himself at a point, dashing and crashing against the foe.
  79.
  80. The lighting creature he summoned cackled, and though it kept its assistance in the fight to a minimum it still seemed to be increase Thom's power, if only a little. And in the end it made a differnece. The young occultic boy would have fought to the left and right, barely avoiding a large purple beam that flew at him from the kaor and getting away.
  81.
  82. He took a few breaths before stopping, and dashing towards the creature, fist colliding with it and knocking it down before teleporting backwards, the sea behind him likely making for a very interesting look.
  83.
  84. "So far so good I think!" He grinned, glancing towards the elemental creature he had before looking back towards the kaor.
  85. (Thom)
  86. [18:56:25] Snaib'sel had severely underestimated the powers and potentials of the human Thom however. She had expected power, but on such a scale..? It was incomprehensible.
  87.
  88. The Occultic, offensive release of the Kaor aiming to inflict harm to the Thom was barely if at all effective, as the small, the lowly human being was able to simply jolt his way out from the ground scorching trap of Occultism, and counter with very shocking lightning embodied attacks.
  89.
  90. Whilst the Thom received minor scorches through lucky shots here and there, the Snaib'sel was -moderately- burnt, patches of her skin were indeed purplish black. The Kaor dashed throughout the place, her jaws wide opened, Occultic energies gathering at that one spot. She had attempted to close the range and fired a single beam of darkness outwards......
  91.
  92. But she had very poorly missed, and felt the incredibly pushing fist of the Thom colliding against her form from her back, knocking her downwards to the ground, which took her mere moments, but a few seconds nonetheless, to process it all and get right back up to her feet.
  93.
  94. "H...... HOW......"
  95.
  96. The Thom could have easily escaped, easily went into the cavern tunnels as he planned so for when the Snaib'sel for a brief period, was temporarily separated from her senses. And yet, he stayed, and yet he still sought to continue the battle, as if to -MOCK- the Kaor Yokai herself......
  97.
  98. Inexcusable. The boy was extracting pleasure from this, pleased to see that she was losing... and THAT...... was -unbearable-. "HOW DARE YOU!!!"
  99. (Snaib'sel)
  100. [18:58:08] {combat} Snaib'sel has been defeated by Thom! They're unable to continue fighting.
  101. [19:03:15] The second round would be much like the first. The ground would be absolutely covered in occultic energy, courtesy of the giant yokai, but the orange haired youth would just move out of the way, noticing where the ground would cause him pain and strike from a distance. The fist and red lighting would collide against the strong occultic powers, but while the kaor was certainly powerful for its breed..
  102.
  103. This mini human was on a whole never level. Sword strikes slashed at him, but rather then get thrown around like some sort of fodder his glaive would strike back, dealing almost equally as painful damage. Finally once again the last strike would come, this time in the form of a red wave of flames carrying the yokai's massive frame to the ground. The orange haired youth would then teleport on top of the torso, sitting there so he could make eye contact with the creature.
  104.
  105. "How what?"
  106.
  107. The small creature of blue energy seemed almost the laugh, but the young boy did not, pulling his goggles up slightly to get a better view of the kaor.
  108.
  109. "You're a strong one.. Stronger then a lot of the magi I know.- OH WAIT YOU MOVED, WAIT I COULD HAVE RUN NOW.."
  110. (Thom)
  111. [19:16:03] This round, the Snaib'sel had conjured, had materialised forward a single large blade suited for her grip, held by her right hand. This was indeed a 'Kaor Blade', but not the Imperfect variety that could house the soul of its owner. But even then, even all the potential damage to be done with such a materialised 'object' of solidified particles, oozing Occultism, low-key not made of solid, real items but...
  112.
  113. In any case, this added benefit of 'melee damage'? Did not assisted, not one bit.
  114.
  115. However MUCH the Kaor dashed towards the Thom, she could keep up barely, and however much swings and slashes, and Occultic bursts she sent forward? Could be mostly evaded, barely hitting, barely -scratching- the literal surface of the pre-teen. Her sword strikes were countered with a mighty glaive, beating upon her form likewise to a large, pained stick.
  116.
  117. The finishing, final strike was a great wave of fire, striking, pushing, very seriously burning the entirety of the skin of the Kaor, knocking her downwards at the end of the day. Defeated, very sore, of no open wound due to the cauterising nature of lightning and fire...... Her sword, too, dematerialised.
  118.
  119. And THEN mockingly, the Thom decided to sit atop her form, upon her torso, whilst she struggled, vibrated aplenty, attempting to get up... but to no avail. "Get.. OFF ME... YOURSELF lowly.. HUMANOID!!.." Even her mind utilised telepathy was affected, for her body was strained, was exhausted of mana......
  120.
  121. Was put into this pitiful state, by a mere human -child- at that.
  122. (Snaib'sel)
  123. [19:22:01] Thom pouted once more, crossing his arms over his chest as he looked at Snaib'sel. For a moment the grey eyes did naught more then look to the side before he looked yet again towards the kaor yokai he was sitting on top of. "I said stop with the short jokes. They're mean."
  124.
  125. It appeared that despite the brutal, painful way that the two beings had fought Thom saw it as almost nothing. There would be no fear of the creature, and though he admittedly had induluged in a bit of causing it pain.. Thom didn't exactly desire to hurt the kaor any longer. The elemental seemed to sigh at this a little, dejected before Thom would release its summoning, allowing it once more vanish into the spirit realm.
  126.
  127. "Hm.. You're all hurt and stuff though.. I don't think we're supposed to kill you though cause Maria said to be merciful.. Ok! I got it!
  128.
  129. Tell me your name! You have one right?"
  130. (Thom)
  131. [19:32:16] The Kaor was simply to put, infuriated! Never in her life had she been defeated by a humanoid of such stature, with such relative ease at that. It was very, very plain and obvious that she stood no chance against the Thom, and that was very, very shocking. How could -humans- of all species, be stronger than that of Yokai? That that of -HER-!...
  132.
  133. And the Thom was making fun of her, how he would 'bring mercy' upon her poor soul and -not- kill her due to this, and still had the -guts-... to question her, to request of her name, her alias. "I -REFUSE-..!.." She exclaimed telepathically. Stubborn?
  134.
  135. "Yourself are not -DESERVING-... It is -I- whom... should -ASK-.. what is -YOUR- ALIAS.." And perhaps a bit, agitated and, not so sane.
  136. (Snaib'sel)
  137. [19:36:32] Ok, now this was getting fun. Maybe it was just the occultic sadism wearing off on him but Thom found himself to be starting enjoying messing with the yokai a little.. More then a hero should. The boy began to curve his mouth into a smile, pearly white teeth flashing as he shook his head and bounced on the kaor a little.
  138.
  139. "No, no no! I asked you first so you gotta tell me your name! Thats how it works! If you asked first then I would give you my name! And once you tell me your name I'll tell you mine!" A nod of the orange haired youth's head before teleporting next to the creature's head so he wouldn't sit on top of her.
  140.
  141. "And why am I not deserving? I don't get that.. And if you say its because I'm small again.. Thats really mean!"
  142. (Thom)
  143. [19:45:55] That childish voice, his -FLAWED- logic, of attempting to convince the Snaib'sel that she was to give her name first before he could do so himself..... She was -NOT- stupid. He could pleasefully not answer even if she did comply. Which she would never, do so.
  144.
  145. The fact that the Thom was sitting atop her made her -want- to squish, wanted to -CRUSH- the human being right then and there...... but she UNFORTUNATELY could NOT! She was defeated, in a way incapacitated...... It was -her- whom had her fate pre-determined by one, and this was not enjoying, no not at all.
  146.
  147. So much anger...... Valmasian words were not even sufficient, to express that much that the Kaor felt. Mixed in with shame, as well, this was -HELL- on Valmasia........... and she swore, that she would extract her -revenge- upon the Thom one of these days. Which would lead her to -cancel- her earlier mental claims of not being involved in Valmasian affairs......
  148.
  149. Technically, she would no doubt be involved, for the Thom...... would perhaps be in human settlements, and she would not care at ALL... if the ones in the sidelines grew hurt. But this was all a fantasy, all a dream.... As of current, it was very apparent that she was weak, and this was to be despised, to be mocked......
  150.
  151. For once, she was motivated to grow in power, grow stronger, and this was more than the motivation from her stomach, from her innate need to further grow no. She was now motivated, by a new source of motivation..... and that was to -exterminate- entirely...... The Thom human.
  152.
  153. -Other than grumbling and mumbling, the Kaor was simply silent now.
  154. (Snaib'sel)
  155. [19:46:46] Snaib'sel: <* >:| *>
  156. [19:57:00] The ookami would walk forward. He would indeed be seeking out some fun. As he approached out of the cave he would spot a delicious sight. He would see that kid from last time. The one that spoke about the sash. Over the time Wolf remember hismelf as Starox. Yet, the name was long gone now. These days he was more brutal and less simpathetic to others.
  157.
  158. As he looked at the down kaor he wonder.
  159.
  160. Was the boy going to let it live? Well that would be a treat! To let a kaor escape from utter death! That was something the ookami himself had to think about. Kaors and yokais caused havoc. He liked havoc and destruction. The black ooze would drip on the ground as he walked forward.
  161.
  162. Clapping his murky ooze hands.
  163.
  164. "Oh dear boy! Good show! Tell me something my dear child. Would you let me step into this dance? I have been waiting to taste a good fight for quite a ...while."
  165. (Wolf Rainfold)
  166. [19:58:43] Snaib'sel: <*incapacitated*>
  167. [20:02:08] Up and up!
  168.
  169. Climbing off the yokai, Thom would have jumped to the ground and stared at the creature. Unfortuantely rather then respond to him, and tell him her name the creature seemed intent to remain silent. This caused the orange haired youth to frown a little and sigh. He wasn't going to hurt it to tell him its name was he?.. Then again..
  170.
  171. Eh whatever. They were supposed to be merficul right? However as Thom might have been about the leave it appeared there would be another person coming by. The orange haired boy blinked a couple of times. Once again it appeared there would be something stopping him from going to the place he wanted to- oh wait was that..
  172.
  173. "Starox? Your hair is black. Thats new! And I don't know.. I just got done with a fight.." The boy appeared to think for a moment before shaking his head, taking a deep breath. Once again the door in his mind would appear and he reached in, retreving the power and eletricity from within, a small elemental being about two feet in height appearing.
  174.
  175. "But i did say you could come back and challenge me for the sash any time. Gotta stick to my word!"
  176. (Thom)
  177. [20:07:15] The ookami waved his finger.
  178.
  179. "No! No! No! My dear boy Starox is dead! You shall call me Wolf! Wolf Rainfold to be exact. I would rather you never i mean...never call me Starox again okay." He says very coldly to Thom with a very hated filled look in his eyes. Then all of a sudden a smile would be placed on his face. Now he claps his hands together.
  180.
  181. He would walk over to the yokai. The creature was sleeping so well. He would place his blade driving it along the body of the yokai.
  182.
  183. "Are you going to kill it? I mean this creature is kin to a imperfect that is bringing this world to a end..Then again what is wrong with that right?!" He says taking his blade from its body. He could take the blood of the creature but no point.
  184.
  185. Licking his blade it still had its ooze on it.
  186.
  187. "So tell me..how do you answer such a situation."
  188. (Wolf Rainfold)
  189. [20:12:22] "Wolf? Got it." Thom said less then enthusiastic. Wolf sounded a whole lot more.. odd then Starox. Starox sounded entuastic to the boy after all! Wolf just sounded.. Like something you would call a wolf.
  190.
  191. "But nah. I don't think I'm supposed to kill things cause Maria said it was bad. So I'm going to try my best not to kill things when I don't have to. And though it might be kin to the imperfect that doesn't mean that its going to be exactly like it right?" There was a look of hope on the boy's face oddly enough before Wolf began to point his sword along the body of the yokai.
  192.
  193. "Hey.. You shouldn't do that. It can't hurt anyone right now so it doesn't make sense to hurt it.." Thom said, a frown begining to spread across his face as he stared at the black haired ookami.
  194.
  195. The elemental cackled, zooming around a little bit and looking at Starox as Thom kept his eyes on the man as well. "and I thought I was the one you wanted to fight.."
  196. (Thom)
  197. [20:19:12] The newly arrived individual...... was noted.
  198.
  199. The fact that the Wolf had claimed of the Snaib'sel being akin to the Imperfect Lord Dumuzid Balaraq...... was also infuriating, but what was -MOST- infuriating, was that she could do absolutely nothing of it. For her body was aching, was barely able to move... and it would be a while before she would get up. Which added to the anger and the frustration for sure. To compare her to the lightning Imperfect..... was absurd. She had not the same goals as he, for one.
  200.
  201. But contrary to the fight hungry Wolf, no. The Snaib'sel was already defeated and incapable of battle. She was. On the ground. And still quiet.
  202. (Snaib'sel)
  203. [20:20:54] Stretching his arms he would nod his head.
  204.
  205. "So true! You are the one i came to fight. Well then my boy! We should go ahead and begin. Though i hope that yokai doesn't get involved. My blade my slip don't need that happening. So um yeah lets get this party started! I mean what fun are we having by talking."
  206.
  207. He would then howl and all of a sudden Thom would see something very awful.
  208.
  209. The creatures once known as Starox wolves were covered in the black ooze and also very deadly looking. He would look at them and shake his head. They were destroyed by the virus more quickly than he thought. The winds would cover him as he would smile at his friend..
  210.
  211. He would wonder how this would play out this time.
  212.
  213. "Get to it my boy! Its time to fight!"
  214. (Wolf Rainfold)
  215. [20:21:45] (Already posted stance)
  216. (Wolf Rainfold)
  217. [20:24:19] Well, it wasn't as if Thom hadn't already prepared for this battle. Thom would have retrieved his glaive from his back and lowered his goggles once more over his eyes, red sparks of lighting shrouding him as he focused on Wolf. And then it happened.
  218.
  219. The appearance of wolves covered in ooze, looking monsterous. The sight nearly drew Thom back in suprise. He had never seen something look so monsterous besides yokai.. They looked pained, diseased to him almost. He shook himself out of it and the elemental darted to and fro around him.
  220.
  221. "Right.." The boy focused on the elemental's power focusing on not only drawing it but controlling it, assuming it into his own power. The creature growled a little but would allow it and the grey eyes of Thom focused upon the body of hte ookami once more.
  222.
  223. "LEts do this."
  224. (Thom)
  225. [20:25:10] {combat} You killed a Direwolf! (+1 EXP, +1cr)
  226. [20:25:10] {combat} You killed a Direwolf! (+1 EXP, +1cr)
  227. [20:25:10] {combat} You killed a Direwolf! (+1 EXP, +1cr)
  228. [20:25:10] {combat} Thom has been defeated by Wolf Rainfold! They're unable to continue fighting.
  229. [20:31:08] The ookami would chuckle as he was not going to hodl back. Quicklly he would attack after Thom. He would go through the blazing hell of fire! He would feel the burning sensation of Thom's magic. The boy was as quick and nibble as ever. Though one thing was most defintely different about Starox. The damn power he possesed seem to grown at a huge pace.
  230.
  231. As he would hit Thom he would only smile.
  232.
  233. Th strikes of lightning were painful and quite electricfying! He would send the wolves to be struck down. Yet, the ooze would rebuild their damge. The crreatures getting up like zombies. Thom was basically facing a hellish opponent now. The Starox he knew was gone and dead. Wolf was here to fucking stay!
  234.
  235. Wolf would then put his palm against Thom and smile as the boy would not only recieve a wind blast but also huge wave of water magic which would slam him into the cave wall. Ouch!
  236.
  237. "Ooooooo! My boy that is gonna last a while. Come on now we are both very crazy and excited men! We play more yes! Good now lets play a bit more!" He says spinning around like a crazy person.
  238. (Wolf Rainfold)
  239. [20:32:51] Soon, the Thom was off of the Snaib'sel, and thunderously, burningly, he engaged battle with the newcomer Wolf. Conflict? Yet, their speech indicated that they were friends, companions, ones whom knew one another...... It was a disgrace, it sounded as though a very, very awful concept.
  240.
  241. The Kaor could simply not wrap her head around the fact, that they were fighting for sports, for utter -fun- and -pleasure-. Combat was meant to resolve conflict, was a very nice action to take in fact. -Violence- was preferable, admirable, yet these two? Were -sparring-, at best. What was the purpose of this?
  242.
  243. She did not get it, and she was further agitated both by her 'inunderstandment', and the fact that she was here witnessing it all...... well. She was able to return to a -sitting- position at long last, flexing her wings......- She of course attempted to flap, to maneuver them, attempting to lift her form upwards, attempting to fly, up, up and away...
  244.
  245. It took several minutes to even allow her exhausted form to begin to rise, but this was surely enough time, given by the duo? But her condition was not peaked, and she was able to be stopped, prevented, barred from escape, Without the need for rolls, too.
  246. (Snaib'sel)
  247. [20:34:33] Pain!
  248.
  249. It was worse then the yokai. Thom would have grunted as he felt the winds and water pull against him smashing him around with torents of liquid hitting his bronze skin. The black oozing wolves also sliced and bit at him causing him to wince but Starox seemed to grow stronger then the wolves by far. In comparision Thom felt he looked silly.
  250.
  251. The elemental was no help. The thing began to laugh a little at Thom until the grey eyed boy opened his eyes. "Be quiet." he commanded it, the thing doing such as he refocused himself upon Wolf. It was.. Going to be a hard fight to say the least.
  252.
  253. But he wanted to see now.. See if he could turn the tides, do a better match in this coming next round. Gripping onto his glaive the youth called forth more firepower and hope then he had before, also drawing in the strength of the elemental.
  254.
  255. "Even faster!"
  256.
  257. The yokai was getting off but he couldn't stop her, not in the middle of a fight like this.
  258. (Thom)
  259. [20:35:24] {combat} You killed a Direwolf! (+1 EXP, +1cr)

  263.
  264. Notice: We had a redo because I targeted a direwolf instead of Wolf
  265.
  266. [20:36:16] (Redo)

  275. [20:37:58] {combat} Wolf Rainfold has been defeated by Thom! They're unable to continue fighting.
  276. [20:42:14] Thump, thump thump.
  277.
  278. Thom's heart beat far faster then ever before in the youth's live. The wolves kept on coming at him, biting him, tearing at his skin and he was barely able to fend them off. In addition there was the form ofWolf who was by far the bigger threat, wind magic slowing down Thom whenever he tried to get close and water magic also paining the boy. Truely it was looking like a downhill fight for him..
  279.
  280. But then it happened. An arrow of flame leaped out from the boy's glaive. Much like the archers he admired ever since he was little the boy had been practicing a new sort of attack that reached people from a ranged. It was only now he got to test it, using it to push Wolf back a bit while barely avoiding the giant jets of water.
  281.
  282. "Side." The elemental spoke to his mind, helping Thom plan his assult on Wolf. The youth was barely able to place a last strike by the man's side ending the round but not the entire battle as he stepped back, catching his breath. Once agian he would focus on the elemental he could summon, drawing and controling its power.
  283.
  284. "Come on.."
  285. (Thom)
  286. [20:44:48] "Ow!"
  287.
  288. The ookami had got stung quite badly. He would be slam with attacks after attacks. Like literally they hurt like hell. Even Thom was getting into his own fun. Gosh the ookami was gonna have to be extra careful! He was to close to the edge to be getting pushed this hard. Though he would tap his blade.
  289.
  290. He would go for his own strikes.
  291.
  292. Though Thom was literally taking the moment to send out a arrow of fire. Which would slam into his body.
  293.
  294. "OW!"
  295.
  296. He would then get up and dust himself off. A smile still on his face. One of pain and enjoyment. He liked this burning feeling it was nice. With that he would hop back into the fight.
  297.
  298.
  299. (Wolf Rainfold)
  300. [20:45:39] {combat} You killed a Direwolf! (+1 EXP, +1cr)

  302. [20:45:39] {combat} Wolf Rainfold has been defeated by Thom! They're unable to continue fighting.
  303.
  304. Notice: We had a redo because I Seered into GFW very early on. As in 75% health early on.
  305.
  306. [20:46:30] (redo)

  314. [20:47:21] {combat} Wolf Rainfold has been defeated by Thom! They're unable to continue fighting.
  315. [20:54:11] 'Faster'! The elemental spoke to Thom, helping him fight as the sounds annoyed the youth's ears and Wolf blasted him with water and wind magic. The grey eyes blinked a bit, getting hit and pelted by all sorts of pain and at the same time Wolf would also be taking a lot of damage. The two seemed almost evenly matched, though Thom's attacks more so covered the grass then the water and wind of the wolf.
  316.
  317. 'Better' The elemental commanded, and for once he took its advice. The elemental certainly knew what it was doing after all, improving Thom's own abilities near a point he didn't know he had. The orange haired youth breathed in and out deeply hoping he could win, but in the end he felt as if he were just hanging on by a hair..
  318.
  319. And it would be by that hair he won. The two had gotten in close, and he prepared himself to fall to the ground if even a bubble connected but the black flames leaped forth from his glaive first, knocking Wolf towards the ground and scoring Thom the victory.
  320.
  321. "That fight... Ow.." Thom groaned, barely able to keep himself on his feet and indeed sticking the glaive's blade into the dirt to keep himself standing.
  322. (Thom)
  323. [21:00:09] "OW!"
  324.
  325. Hot fire indeed was hit on his place. He was feeling the reaosn why Thom had his number. The boy magic was simpyl to hot! It was so freaking mind numbing.
  326. He was all over the place. The ookami couldnt figure him out. It was likea rapture of i'm going to fuck up you day. Seriosuly he was not trying to deal with this at the time!
  327.
  328. The black ooze would fall on the ground as he would hop around holding his flaming butt.
  329.
  330. He had his butt kicked. The boy had manage to score on with such a close victory. The ookami was a inch from taking the win. Though did he really want that sash? No, he didn't want the sash. He was done with that game. He wanted to fight Thom.
  331.
  332. "Darn you beat me once again! You are really freaking on fire kid! go the top! Then again you were lucky...this time." He would say with a cold tone and then a smile would appear. As he would heal his butt. God the pain was so bad.
  333.
  334. The wolves body would heal back and he would simply look and prepare to hear the kid results.
  335.
  336. "Ahh even i wanted to enter that tournament again i'm not ready. I'm not here for the sash kid. I was here for that yokai understand. You letting that beast go coudl be trouble. though we must all learn the hard way on our own time yes?" He says flipping up on a mountain.
  337. (Wolf Rainfold)
  338. [21:17:13] Exhausting.
  339.
  340. Despite being the victor in the battle Thom was definately feeling pain. Perhaps taking on a kaor yokai and Wolf in a short order was not the best of ideas. However, it was done now and that was satisfiying enough to the young orange haired youth. The boy wiped his eyes a moment, pulling up the goggles and grinning a little, still feeling as if he were on exhaustion's door as the elemental zapped and moved around him.
  341.
  342. "Thanks Wolf.." Thom said, though not realizing the cold tone in which the man spoke to Thom in. "And yeah.. I feel like I'm ready to drop at the touch of a hat.." The boy admitted. "You're really strong..
  343.
  344. "If you want to enter the tournament though.. I can give you one of my sashes. I got two. And I don't mind having just one.. I'm going to fight him. Ken I mean.. Get a higher sash." Thom said simply. "And yeah we all got to learn.. This was a good fight!"
  345. (Thom)
  346. [21:17:13] Wolf Rainfold: <*Looks down on him*> Thom! I remember you now! Remember my name okay kid!
