•• PERSONALITY:
—  Han Hyun-joo is what you would call a natural leader: it's easy for her to take charge in many situations. It's normal for her to make a plan and say firmly, "this is the way we're going to do it", regardless of how far-fetched her idea is. No matter how much you don't like the way she wants things to be, her smooth communication skills and subtle persuasions will have the whole group agreeing with her. However, the opportunity of leadership rarely comes toward her.
   She's proved herself as useful, not only in house services but as a communicator. Her knowledge in Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian and English can prove helpful when tackling foreigners. When has she ever needed to contact a foreigner? Once.
   She can also be a bit hot-tempered at times, even if you haven't done anything wrong. You can tell she's in a mood when she sits down, crosses her arms and won't reply to anything. This kind of behaviour happens several times a week, and her friends have accepted this as some kind of weekly routine.
   Occasionally, these emotions will spiral out of control. When this happens, it's best to shove her in her room and leave her alone. You just have to wait until she gets tired of shouting in an empty room and decides to clean the place.
   She's also a major hypocrite. You leave things to the last minute? You'll get shouted at. If she leaves things to the last minute, it's because she's stressed, she's got a lot of things on his mind and you can shut your mouth promptly. Living with Hyun-joo is like living with a giant baby. Fortunately, this behaviour only really shows in front of her friends, and the people she works for have no idea.
   She also refuses to admit when she's wrong, most of the time. She will churn out tons of excuses just so you can't get a word in edgeways, make a loud noise and sit in another room to "think things through". She accepts that he's problematic, but makes no move to change her behaviour.
   If you do know her, she's fucking loud. Always screaming because she's so Shook, and commentating on whatever's happening as if it's being broadcasted on the radio. It will get annoying, no matter how much you love her.
   Loud isn't the only thing that gets on people's nerves. She's a huge clean freak, and will often make unnatural jarring noises if someone leaves a plate or something on the table. She doesn't wrap her Christmas presents, because mess makes her uncomfortable. This kind of behavior really gets on people's nerves, so you'd better clear up after yourself.
   She often gets what she wants, by using aegyo and whining. It really does work; you should try it sometimes.
   Now, despite her icy aura, and problematic attitude toward most people, she shows her soft, caring side, but only in front of her friends and love interest. When she's not pissed off, she's the softest bean you'll ever know.
   After finishing work, she'll throw on her favourite red sweater, curl up in a ball on the sofa and watch TV. You're not allowed to disturb her, unless you're coming to give her hot chocolate, or you're gonna snuggle with her. After this, she's guaranteed to be happy, and trust me, Hyun-joo's smile is the cutest thing you've ever seen.
   She's actually in touch with her caring side, but it doesn't show through in front of people. If it did, people would get suspicious, because she wouldn't be behaving like the Hyun-joo they know. You can tell it's showed if you fall asleep on the couch and wake up with a blanket around you; or if you can't afford the jacket you really wanted, and you find it sitting on your bed after a day's practise. There's a 99% chance Hyun-joo put it there. If you ask who it was, she'll smile and whisper, "it was the fairies". One thing to know is not to confront her about it, because she'll suddenly get very flustered, and your chance of being visited by "the fairies" again gets lowered.
   Hyun-joo in the group chat is a different person, because her attitude can't be read on text. She's always sending memes and shook photos, when no-one asked for them, and types like lightening. She'll stop working just so she can reply, and that means her phone is always on, regardless of the occasion. She enjoys staying in contact with her friends and no matter how much they complain about her inappropriate memes and unwanted messages, she's quite enjoyable to have in the group chat.
   In short, Hyun-joo is a very emotional person. You can catch her in a good mood, or in a bad one. Either way, there's nothing stopping you from loving her irrationally.

— Hyun-joo was made for house services, and her job varies from cleaning, washing clothes, cooking and generally taking care of the house she's working in. — In a lot of ways, he's quite similar to Hyun-joo, I guess that's why they get on so well. They'll happily watch people go about their business, while whispering to each other what they think of those people. They're both good at judging, and seeing through other's emotions, and that also means they know exactly what they're thinking without having to say it.
   He's known as being quite aggressive, and forces his opinions on other people. It's fine if they don't agree with them: he just needs to know that they understand why he could be right. He does this by shouting, and during political meetings, the room will often be silenced by his presence, while they wait for him to start shouting. Having him support your team is a blessing really, because everyone's afraid to disagree with him.
   He doesn't care what other people think of him, and that may be why he's not afraid to show all his negative emotions. In his mind, he does things for his own benefit, and not to everyone else's. This leads him to be overconfident, which can be disguised as vanity. Somehow he knows he's right, even when he's not, which can lead to mistakes being made, that simply "aren't his fault".
   Overconfidence, vanity and self-centeredness do come hand-in-hand, and all these traits aren't particularly attractive, but his smooth-talking can do wondrous things. He likes to think of himself as suave, which is slightly true, but then again, he's really fucking overconfident.
   Despite this, he can be enjoyable when he's extroverting all over the place. There's nothing better than taking his hand and running away with him, an option Hyun-joo likes to take when he gets on her nerves. It's a blessing to curl up with him on the couch and give him chaste kisses, and fall asleep watching a reality show. When he's not going about daily life, he's really enjoyable to be with.
   In the group chat, he acts a little bit strange. He's always sending selcas and threatening to send nudes if anyone doesn't agree that they're "sexy af". If someone replies to him in three days, he'll reply to them three days later. He's relatively chill, and it's hard to make him pissed by text.
   His character development only really started when he met Hyun-joo: whenever he was around her, he'd instantly become softer, but when she left, he'd become his annoying self again. Falling in love meant he cleared his negative behaviour away, no matter how hard it was, and gradually became a better person because of her. Hyun-joo was like the electricity that switched on the light bulb in his head.

•• FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
— Hyun-joo's first impression of him was the same as everyone else's; since he acquired a reputation for a self-centered political person with no real substance, that's what she thought too. She felt inclined to agree with everything he said, and wouldn't stop looking awkwardly around the room she was in, as if it would tell her what to text back. When she got home that night, she felt the need to tell her friends that he was way better looking in real life.
   His first impression of her was that she was nothing like her reputation: in a good way. She was surprisingly familiar, the way she talked about everyone else, and how good she looked with blonde hair and red lipstick (judging by the photos she sent). He wanted to get to know her better, but certainly did not show it.

•• HOW YOU ACT AROUND HIM:
— Hyun-joo was almost her usual self around him in the beginning, except she kept laughing nervously and biting her lip. When she started to realise what an interesting person he was, she started to loosen up around him. She often tells shitty puns and jokes around him, because she knows he won't mind. She doesn't mind acting like a complete fool in front of him because she knows it doesn't matter. She feels very enlightened by his presence. When they started dating, there was a lot more sweet talk and "make me". She finally found like she could act freely around him and she loves that.
   In the chatroom, she acts a lot like the above, but retypes her texts a lot, making her replies frustratingly slow.

•• HOW HE ACTS AROUND YOU:
— He acted very chill around Hyun-joo for the first few texts, not particularly eccentric. He saw how she essentially got more comfortable around him as their conversation developed, and finally let his real persona out. There's a lot more eyesmiles and winking in his selcas when he's with Hyun-joo, and certainly a lot more involuntary swearing and meme-making. He was always his usual self around her. He always treated her like a friend, even when she would act cold towards him. He found himself slowly falling in love with her, and let it happen. He likes to hug her from behind and rest his chin on the top of her head, and every time he does that he feels nostalgic. He also likes to try and build the sexual tension at really random moments.
   In the chatroom, he's really no different. He uses way too many emojis, especially the winking one, and won't stop texting until he falls asleep.

•• RELATIONSHIP:
— Their relationship goes as follows;

•• BEGINNING:
— When things first started they were nothing but friends; well, friends interested in each other. They'd send way too many selcas to the group chat and talk one-on-one, which lead people to believe exactly what was happening. "Just friends" was an understatement.

•• MIDDLE:
— Every time they met up, there'd be an obvious spark between them, which thankfully wasn't obvious in a room full of friends. Their relationship fully consisted of talking casually, laughing together, and having one's way with the other every week or so. The phrase "Just friends" was coined, which was repeated after everything they did together, until one day Hyun-joo refused to say it back.

•• END:
— The two of them are the cheesiest couple out there; and also the cutest couple. There are lots of random forehead kisses, cheek pinching and pouting. Those typically follow after a sarcastic, "you're ugly" from Hyun-joo and a surprised "what's that? you think i'm the best looking guy alive? thank you" from him. When they're at home together, expect a lot of singing competitions, jamming to the stupidest songs ever made, him cooking the food and Hyun-joo grudgingly doing the dishes while they exchange sided glances. She likes waking up to his blinding smile and saying, "thanks grandpa" after he makes her breakfast in bed. A typical lazy day with them is her sleepily asking him to sing and him laying down to use her thighs as a pillow. They both send each other videos and pictures of their friends being stupid, along with selfies and cheesy texts. They often go shopping for skin care products out in town because you absolutely need to have the purest skin, calling each other "grandpa" and "froot loops" back and forth. In short, they're that one relationship you wish you could have.

•• WHY YOU SHOULD END UP TOGETHER:
— [ i'm not too good at questions like this lmao ] One of the quotes that Hyun-joo admires most is, "it's better to be alone and feel successful than to be with someone and feel like a failure". And while that is true, most people would rather feel like a failure and be with their significant other. Hyun-joo is one of those people. She is visually impaired (not blinded) by love and is prepared to risk a lot of things in order to be happy. That's what she wants to do: take risks. She knows the whole relationship is one big risk but he doesn't care, because it has him in it, and he is the most important aspect.
