Teach Ice Beam over Bubblebeam in the fly menu instead of teaching Rock Slide

Get the Rare Candy on the way out of the puzzle

Get TM07 Horn Drill on the way through the 2nd spin puzzle
Hideout J&J: TB x2, Thrash
Giovanni: IB, IB, Double Kick until Persian dies (usually 2 turns/3 shakes, crit kills) (you can x speed on rhyhorn for a more consistent fight, likely slightly slower on average)
Teach Rock Slide over Thrash and Horn Drill over Double Kick when you dig out of Game Corner to Cerulean, then fly to Lavender
Marowak: Ice Beam
Use 2 candies before biking to Silph
Carbos: 3 with 6 Speed, 2 with 7 Speed, 1 with 8 Speed (all have to be used immediately due to bag constraints)
Use x speed on silph rival with 0-8 Speed DV, skip with 11+ or 9-10 after 1 Carbos
Elixer at the Snorlax menu and heal for Koga as needed
Fight Sabrina before Koga unless you are running 0-5 speed for some godforsaken reason
Elixer again in Pallet Town before teaching Surf and Strength
Skip the 2nd mansion candy with 12+ Speed, but get and teach blizzard immediately with 0-5 speed and skip all carbos
Candy to 46/47 before picking up the secret key with 12-15/0-11 Speed
Blaine->Erika->Giovanni Gym
Rest of the run generally mirrors the old ice beam route.  6+ DV Speed will outspeed 2nd Agatha Gengar after X Spec on Golbat with the appropriate Carbos uses for Champ
