- Mac had done well to cover up the spots Incineroar was principally aiming for, which was pretty much everything above the clavicle, with not much care for if he cut something fatal. When he finally did strike, he didn’t hit Mac’s throat or face, but instead glanced off Mac’s gloved fists. Except one curved claw which caught in the fabric and stuffing on the back of Mac’s right hand and stuck.
- Incineroar paused, taken off guard by the accident.
- Mac yanked his arm to the side, pulling Incineroar’s with him, and used his free hand to slam his face with a hook. He roared back, so Mac next pulled him down to bring his chin into an uppercut.
