The gambler and former police officer Milo Boyd owes money to dangerous takers and works as bounty hunter. His ex-wife Nicole Hurley is a reporter snooping the mysterious death of a man that was reported by the police as suicide. Meanwhile Nicole is accused of running over and assaulting a police officer and is summoned to a hearing in the court. However, she has a lead for her case and she misses the audience with the judge. Milo is assigned to track down and arrest Nicole; in return, he would receive an award of US 5,000.00. While hunting Kate, Roy stays close to his ex-wife and they both revive the good moments they had in their marriage and Milo. But Nicole is pursued by the criminal that she is investigating
A bounty hunter learns that his next target is his ex-wife, a reporter working on a murder cover-up. Soon after their reunion, the always-at-odds duo find themselves on a run-for-their-lives adventure.
The Bounty Hunter would have been a word by word shot by shot ripoff of Midnight Run if it weren't for one of the 2 main characters being a woman. The film stars Gerald Butler as Milo, an ex-cop who's now a bounty hunter. He takes people who skips their court dates to jail. Enter Nicole (Jennifer Aniston), a successful reporter and Milo's ex-wife. Milo is more than happy to pick up Nicole and bring her to jail for $5,000. The problem with the film is that they just spend the whole film fighting. Both are so unlikable, and even know both are unlikeable, you still can not see why they were ever together. There's no plot, just a bunch of random jokes. Jason Sudekis, a funny guy, plays Nicole's co-worker Stewart, who basically stalks her. This isn't funny, and Sudekis has an unnecessary mustache. He doesn't have a mustache in real life, so there's no reason he needed a mustache here. I like both Aniston and Butler, but they are stuck with a lame script and dull characters. The film also features very, very, very one-dimensional bad guys who don't really do anything interesting nor bad. The film is overall a predictable and painful rip-off of Midnight Run. A talented cast is wasted here, and that's painful enough, but there's so much more painful stuff in this film.

However, the story recalls &quot;Serving Sara&quot; and is entertaining in a few moments but without the charm of the movie of 2002. The tanned Jennifer Aniston shows a magnificent shape in a sexy black dress that highlights her awesome legs. This dire battle-of-the-exes action-comedy severely tests audience goodwill by running an indulgent 110 minutes, crammed as it is with half-baked thriller subplots and aimless supporting characters, as if to distract from the central duo's nonstop bickering.
