  1. >Day 58 in Trixieville. Same thing as always. Another day, another massage. Oddly enough, Trixie is rather quiet this time. You can’t say you’re complaining. She’s dropped a few signals that she has something on her mind, but those may just be silent gasps when your hands pass over a particularly sensitive spot. Who knows? Who cares?
  2. >After an unusually long session, Trixie simply shrugs your hands off this time. Hands at your sides, take a step back.
  3. >”No. You’re not done yet.”
  4. “Oh! Er… my apologies…”
  5. >She pushes herself up and turns her body over, belly facing upward.
  6. >”You’re going to try something new today.”
  7. >Curiosity demands you ask what, but you know better. You keep your trap shut and wait for Trixie to continue.
  8. >”Come.” She leans forward and taps the end of the table near where her hooves lie.
  9. >You have a bad feeling of what direction this is going.
  10. >Taking your time, you slowly walk to the end of the table and lay your hands on the corners. You manage to hold in a sigh of relief when Trixie covers herself up with her tail. There’s been a policy at the spa about being ‘on display’ at the spa since one particular incident with an Apple stallion and Aloe and Lotus. That, or Trixie is a respectable mare.
  11. >Hah.
  12.
  13. >”Human. Trixie has bestowed a great honor upon you. You,”
  14. >She extends a leg to nearly touch your belly.
  15. >”You may massage Trixie’s lovely, supple little hoof.”
  16. >You can hardly contain your excitement.
  17. >To your own surprise, you slowly bring your hands to her left hoof. Resistance to Trixie’s demands have become a thing of the past and obedience is just how one makes a living here.
  18. >Trixie lets out a light moan as you tighten your grip on her hoof. This wouldn’t be the first hoof massage you’ve given to a pony before. So you simply fall into a mindless and robotic pattern which you’ve done many times before.
  19. >Trixie finally relaxes for the first time during tonight’s session and begins talking once more. Just like her hoof, you fall into a pattern as well, saying whatever appeases her for the time being.
  20. >It’s long until Trixie pulls her hooves away from you and hops off the table without warning.
  21. >Hands at your sides. Take a step back.
  22. >”Aaah, out of every little cretin that inhabits this primitive town, you’re the only one who manages to impress Trixie.”
  23. “Thank you.”
  24. >”Yes, that is quite the compliment, but it gets much better.” She clears her throat. “Tomorrow evening, Trixie would like you to join her for an exquisite dinner in the town hall.”
  25. “Tomorrow… dinner?”
  26. >That’s not fair. Trixie totally caught you off-guard.
  27. >”Hm. Try not to get overexcited. It is a rare privilege. Only given to the few who DON’T disappoint Trixie.”
  28. “I… Thank you, The Great and…”
  29.
  30. >”You may stop calling me that. Well, I mean…” She poofs a curl of hair. “Unless you want to keep doing it.”
  31. >She sounds off a quick chuckle before turning for the exit. Just before leaving, she turns around.
  32. >”And by the way, don’t you dare show up in your normal attire. Wear that suit I had the white unicorn make for you. And DON’T be late.” On that final note, she passes through the door and slams it shut.
  33. =
  34. >The next morning comes bearing a gift. A painful gift. You woke up with a hand swollen to twice its normal size. Two little redder spots are right next to each other on the back of the hand, so you were easily able to deduce it was a bug bite or something.
  35. >You’re the kind of guy who would prefer to wait it out but you definitely cannot give a massage with this. So it’s off to the hospital for you. You’d think it would have been closed by now with what happened to Nurse Redheart, but you see ponies going in and out of that large building on an almost daily basis.
  36. >That mare can keep her shit together, that’s for sure.
  37. >You enter the hospital a few minutes later. Everything has been converted to help with Redheart’s situation. The right half of the large waiting room has been converted to a series of hospital beds with sheets separating them, the left just being a bunch of brown chairs for ponies to sit in.
  38. >And at the other side of the room, the receptionist’s desk is up against the wall where several ponies, some with obvious swelling as well, have gathered to all assault Redheart at once with complaints.
  39. >You know that won’t work out for them. She has lost nearly all patience since the incident.
  40.
  41. >”All right, ALL RIGHT! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU, BACK OFF!” Her voice is so loud it nearly drowns out the noise of the small crowd.
  42. >The ponies around her fall silent and begin to back off a little.
  43. >”Everyone take a seat, I’ll get to you when I can.”
  44. >The ponies chatter for a second before they break up and head for the chairs, finally revealing Nurse Redheart’s disembodied head resting on the desk.
  45. >You approach her casually and try not to resemble any of the panicked individuals on the other side of the room. As you get close, her eyes drift to you then downward to your hand.
  46. >”You got bit too, huh?”
  47. “Er…” You raise your hand to about chest height. “Yeah. I see I wasn’t the only one.”
  48. >She lets out an annoyed sigh.
  49. >”Our ‘Great and Powerful’ overlord turned an owl into a large cluster of overly-aggressive poisonous spiders because it was annoying her. She didn’t even take a second to think that spiders like that might bite a pony or thirty.”
  50. “Ooh. Sorr-“
  51. >”No, no. You don’t have to apologize. You can find a seat as well. I’m about to bring out the antidote.”
  52. “You got it just like that?”
  53. >”The poison may be from spiders, but they’re magical spiders so it’s a magical poison. All magical poisons can be cured with a special draught that’s pretty simple to mix up.”
  54. “What about incurable magical poison?”
  55. >”There’s a separate cure for that.”
  56. “…”
  57. >”I know. Now please take a seat, there’s a line.”
  58. >You look behind you and indeed, a couple ponies have lined up behind you.
  59. >You bring your hand back to your side and go take a seat near all the other ponies.
  60.
  61. >Day 3 in Trixieville. You are hiding safely inside your spa. Trixie will never find you here.
  62. >Meanwhile, there seems to be some commotion going on inside the hospital at the moment.
  63. >An upset Trixie barges through the doors, causing most ponies in the room to scatter and flee.
  64. >The resident nurse just adopts an annoyed glare, however.
  65. >”You,” Trixie points to Redheart. “Out! This hospital is now Trixie’s.”
  66. >”Claim it for yourself. I don’t care. But I’m not leaving until there isn’t a sick pony in Ponyville.” The Nurse says sternly before turning to retreat back into the hallways of the hospital.
  67. >Trixie huffs in annoyance before lighting her horn up in dark magic. Within an instant, Nurse Redheart disappears from her spot and reappears in front of Trixie with a red burst of light.
  68. >”Don’t you dare walk away from Trixie when she is speaking to you! Do you have any idea what I am capable of? I beat THE Twilight Sparkle in horn-to-horn combat!”
  69. >Nurse Redheart refused to back down. In fact, she’s just getting angry.
  70. >”I don’t care! I’m not looking for a fight, I’m here to help the ponies and this place has the best facilities to do that!”
  71. >”Nurse pony, you don’t und-“
  72. >”No, YOU don’t understand.” Nurse Redheart begins advancing upon Trixie. “Do you know what’s going to happen if you take away Ponyville’s hospital away? Ponies will keep getting sick and hurt with no cure. Then they’ll get mad and desperate. Do you know what happens when you corner a rattlesnake?”
  73. >”Enough!” Trixie pushes Redheart away. “Fine, you can keep your crummy little hospital for yourself.”
  74. >A smug smirk forms across Redheart’s face.
  75. >”… But, wouldn’t it be easier if two of you were running this dump?”
  76. >”The two-“ Nurse Redheart is cutoff as magic envelops her head. And with a loud pop, her head comes off her neck.
  77.
  78. >Trixie drops the head to the floor. She cackles as she turns an exits the hospital. The ponies gathered in the waiting room are disgusted and surprised as Nurse Redheart’s head is in a state of shock, yet still very much alive.
  79. >It took some time, but Nurse Redheart had to get used to her new state. Every day she hoped Trixie would fix her, but she would never come. So now, many more days into Ponyville’s imprisionment, you sit in Redheart’s hospital while waiting for your hand to get treated. Redheart’s head rests on the desk and her body’s location remains to be seen.
  80. >You just start getting comfortable when you hear,
  81. >”Anon? Is that you?”
  82. >There’s no guesswork on who that could be. The southern accent is a dead giveaway.
  83. “Applejack?”
  84. >”Over here.” Her voice comes from the cluster of beds and sheets. You become a little worried, but she sounds normal enough.
  85. >You get off the seat and try to find the source of the voice in the dense sheet forest. Thankfully Applejack pulls her away as you get close.
  86. >And Jesus Christ she is really beat up.
  87. “Whoa, what happened to you?”
  88. >”Gyah, Trixie didn’ call my brother off after I lost out fight this mornin’.”
  89. “Call… your brother didn’t stop on his own?”
  90. >She gives you a mildly disappointed look.
  91. >”You don’ think Bic Mac and I would ever fight on our own, right? Trixie mind contorllin’ us ‘n such. I’ve given Big Mac a good lickin’ once or twice, myself.”
  92. “Oh. That’s a relief! … I guess. I mean, opposed to the altern-“
  93. >”I know what you mean, Anon.” Applejack raises a bag of ice to the sore below her right eye. “So,” She points a hoof at your hand. “I see you got bit too.”
  94.
  95. “Eeyeah, I need to get it taken care of before tonight’s session with Trixie.”
  96. >”You know, I could never figure out if you got the luckiest or unluckiest job out of everyone here.”
  97. “Neither do I, but I’m doing more than that. Trixie invited me to dinner at town h-“
  98. >”What?”
  99. >The room then goes silent.
  100. “… Nothing.”
  101. >”Nuh-uh. You said Trixie asked ya to dinner,”
  102. “Ordered.” You mumble.
  103. >”Whatever. Anon, that doesn’ happen.”
  104. “What do you mean?”
  105. >”Applebloom tells me that Snips and Snails told her that Trixie eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner by herself every day.”
  106. “But Trixie said,”
  107. >”I think Trixie lied to you.”
  108. >”Uhhhh… Antidote is here, everyone!” Nurse Redheart interrupts as her body from the neck down trots into the room with saddlebags packed with some sort of purple liquid.
  109. >Applejack sighs as the ponies begin swarming Redheart’s body.
  110. >”I don’ know what advice I could give ya, but you’d best be careful. I know you don’t want to try removing that amulet after last time.”
  111. >Your stomach almost growls as you recall those two days.
  112. “Yeah… I guess I’d better make sure Rarity finished the suit first. Well, after I fix,” You wave your swollen hand in front of Applejack’s bruised face.
  113. >”Go get your medicine. And good luck tonight. You’re gonna need it.”
