- Hey guys,
- Lately I've been doing a whole lot of Sly 1. I wouldn't really say that I feel burned out s of writing this, but I do know that it kinda gets old watching the same old for you guys and for me as well. I've played around with some ideas to spice it up a little bit, so I'll put some of these thoughts in this here pastebin and I'd like to hear what you think.
- Casual:
- First of all, I have a lot of games lying around that I haven't beaten yet. I bought some stuff for PS4 some time ago and I have some PS1 classics too, along with some on PC as well. We're talking Uncharted 2-4 (Already beat 1 on stream a while back), The Last of Us, Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, Spyro 2, Over the Hedge and last but not least: Life is Strange.
- (I also bought the HD Remaster of PaRappa the Rapper, thanks Tom, I'll be playing that too)
- I've already beaten Life is Strange. It is one of my favorite games ever. The game is split into 5 episodes, and I was thinking of doing 1 episode after a speedrunning session for 5 days in a row. I highly encourage everyone to watch this game, you will not be disappointed. It is a master piece.
- Speedrunning:
- I am a speedrunner, so of course casual playthroughs isnt what you want to realistically watch me do. So I have some things that I'd like to get into running or even get back to running again. I'd like to get back into Crash Bandicoot 1. My any% PB is kinda old by now and I really havent played the game since ESA 2016, an event I also ran the game at.
- Sly 2 and 3 are also things I've been looking forwards to improving on. Both my Sly 2 and 3 PBs are getting old and this needs to be touched down on.
- As always, I am forever seduced by Crash 2 100%, but that is a very hard game with a fittingly hard category. Next time I get back to that, it will be with a refreshed mindset and I am gonna actually put proper effort in, and not just mindlessly throw runs at the game, expecting to be better than I am.
- All casual stuff would ideally be after a speedrun session. I would be doing some runs until I got bored, and then switch. Hope some of these things sound a bit appealing.
- - Mikkel
