- Ame vs. PoB: Aquaman vs. Demogorgon.
- PoB wins this for me for a couple of reasons. He delineates a pretty clear course of action for what Demogorgon will do right at the start of the match- attack with multiple tentacles that slice through stone, without needing to take movement due to reach and size. Aquaman was argued to have several potential avenues against this (blocking, jumping away, freezing), but none of them were ever really committed to and none of them seem to truly advance a win condition for him. I don't think he can block all of Demogorgons tentacles at once, freezing him leaves him vulnerable, and jumping away doesn't seem to be alluded to as something he would automatically do rather than just a thing he potentially can do by the mechanics of the round.
- I think Aquaman's piercing resistance is pretty clearly bad, none of his scans seem to hold water upon examination. Comparatively, while the literary nature of Demogorgons feats makes them not entirely crystal clear, I don't see a reason to assume that they're particularly thin. Ame spends a lot of time talking about how the materials associated with Demogorgon aren't "provably" relevant in thickness for the tier and could potentially be very very thin/small/weak, but there isn't any real evidence for why that might be the case, and "prove that this isn't the weakest stone wall that could hypothetically exist" doesn't really convince me of much. So, Demogorgon will cleave through Aquaman.
- This is all compounded by Aquaman vs. Fear Aura shenanigans, where most of the interactions Aquaman has show him to be at least somewhat effected by it even if just to the degree that he's given pause, and Demogorgon having feats explicit for what it does vs. people who have some degree of mental/magic resistance.
- PoB/Demogorgon wins.
