BACKGROUND ┆
	Chae-Won was born in Melbourne, Australia two years after his parents and brother moved there from Seoul. She was the daughter of an Army Colonel who took three years off along with a warm, loving mother. Her parents met in Australia when they were college students and moved to Korea, but moved back to Australia for a few years. Up until she was six she lived in Australia, but later on moved back to South Korea when her father had to return to work. Her upbringing was rather strict as well, but she grew up in an understanding and a very close family who always put family before anything else.
	She was taught to be respectful towards everyone around her and the morals her parents had enriched into her. They have always been around and made it clear to everyone that no secrets were to be kept for the better good which gave her the idea and desire to always tell the truth. Chae-Won has always been a family person and grew up loved and valued and she always tries to be the same towards others. She wants them to know that they're loved as well. Out of her parents she looked up to her father the most. He was intimidating, ruled with an iron fist, and strict, but she understood now as an adult his reasonings. He always made sure to think ahead and what's good for everyone, not necessarily what they want.
	When Chae-Won went to school she was the type of girl everyone wanted to be partners with or wanted to be put in a group with. She always had the best ideas and knew what to do. But then they'd realize that she wasn't a push over and that she'd actually make them work hard to earn that good grade — which they always get. And during the trainee days she'd focus only on herself for awhile because she wasn't sure if any of the girls would even be put in the same group as her. She'd force herself to sleep early so she can wake up early to train and would be the type of girl to be at the dance studio first and the last one to leave. It was her mentality of working hard for what she wanted.
	Growing up she loved music and it started from her mother's collection of Chinese cassette tapes. Chae-Won fell in love with the background music and how the different sounds from the different instruments synchronized to make a beautiful sound. Like many Asian parents they were forced to learn some sort of instruments and for Chae-Won she learned how to play the piano and it encouraged her to want to learn more instruments so she also picked up the guitar and cello. She knew she wanted to be an idol, but because she was so practical she wasn't even sure if it was worth trying.
	Originally she was going to join the army as a nurse and was a cadet. Before she was even close to enlisting and was about to take her test her father learned of her dreams and encouraged her to at least try which she did. Though she does hope to one day become a nurse or doctor in the future knowing that she can't be an idol forever.

PERSONALITY ┆
	I'd like to think that Chae-Won is sort of a perfectionist. She's the type of person who sticks by the handbook and tries to follow things accordingly. When it comes to stuff like school or leading the group she puts herself in the mindset that for the group it's not just about herself or one individual but the group as an entirety. So most of the time she does lecture and nags the group and they may be annoyed at her from the beginning, but she does later on explain herself in a way where they can understand where Chae-Won is coming from. It's the mindset she was raised on and she likes to fix things until it's either perfect or until it's flowing out nicely.
	With that being said she's also just as strong. I feel like she's the type of person who knows her rights and her worth which makes her stand up for what she truly believes in. If Chae-Won feels as though the group is being mistreated or that something isn't going right she'll always confront management or even the CEO, as long as she gets what they rightfully deserve. Her confidence isn't as high as her determination, but her strong will always preserves in every situation. She doesn't back down and she's so strong minded about helping others.
	But at the same time she contradicts herself so much. She says she's a strong minded person and that she stands for what she believes in, but when it involves only herself she doesn't care as much. Like Chae-Won doesn't even try as hard as she would if it was another member. She has always been so used to giving that she's sort of a push over in that sense. She's only like Military Colonel Ahn when in regards to work, but in reality she's such a softie mainly towards herself. She channels all the anger and frustration she has for herself and not standing up for herself into standing up for others.
	Honestly it's worrying when she works herself because that's the only thing she thinks she's good at. In her head the only thing she can do is fight and argue and be an idol.

	HIS: he respects her in the sense where he's heard of what she is like as a leader. and he finds it admirable how passionate he is.though there were times that he thinks she was uptight judging by the stoic expression on her face that she usually has and the way she just orders the group around not knowing that that's how things run.
	HER: she thinks he's too nice. like he's super respectful and it makes her uncomfortable. at first she thought he was too easy like someone NCT can push around and what not. she thinks 'oh i should stay away from him' or wonders why is he so lenient with his group.
RELATIONSHIP ┆
	honestly it's like a business relationship, in the best way possible. since they're both leaders of sorts they always complain to one another and since the group is known to work together a lot it's like a family. they treat chae-won as the father / bad cop and they treat taeyong as the one who cares for them after the scoldings like the mother.

HOW HE ACTS AROUND HER ┆
	BEGINNING: he tries keeping it strictly professional, like he reminds himself that this is for work only and what not. so he's super respectful and tries not to do anything that makes her feel uncomfortable. i have a feeling that he's super awkward, like he sees her as another idol and worries about another scandal and what not.
	MIDDLE: he's used to her, like he's still in that respectful phase because even though they're friends now he can't see her as more than that. at this point he does know he likes her a bit and is a bit more shy than he was before. he'd blush at every cute thing she does and is a bit more protective. taeyong finds himself making excuses for her and what not if something goes wrong and instantly defends her.
	END: he's more flirtatious in that sense where he knows he's comfortable with her. they're bicker like an old couple and he'd tease her like he would to a girl he likes (which is true i mean). i think he's more comfortable with skinship as well, like having his arm around her waist when he's like guiding her as they're walking or like holding her hand without the two even realizing. i think he's able to talk more about personal things with her and is comfortable with engaging in the conversation, like actually partaking in it instead of letting her do all the talking.
HOW SHE ACTS AROUND HIM ┆
	BEGINNING: she's awkward and kind of reserved. she doesn't understand his way of leading a group and tries to learn. i think she's awkward mainly because she's used to being the intimidating type of person and being very strong minded, but since she's easily shy around strangers she's not as forward or blunt. i also think that chae-won is insecure because she wonders if she's scaring him or if she's too rude. she feels the need to adjust her behavior around him.
	MIDDLE: she's more teasing. at this point chae-won can easily joke around with taeyong and tease him about how awkward he is and is able to show more of her strong nature. like she's the person everyone knows her as, there's no holding back at this point which is perfect. i think she's more of like that shy type when he flirts like if the group members are teasing the two about one another she doesn't fight back anymore she just accepts it and sort of blushes like a little school girl like omo. she basically is developing a crush on him at this point.
	END: way way shy. because he's more flirtatious she can't handles it. she chokes on her breath, she's stuttering, and she's avoiding eye contact. i think because this is the first time this has ever happened to her she doesn't know what to do. so in a way this is very new to her. she heats up at skinship and at this point she knows she likes him. but at the same time she's debating on whether or not she should push him away. chae-won is not used to such vulnerability and is freaking out. she's more insecure like she's more cautious on what she does wondering if she makes the wrong move will he just stop liking her.
