The time lost

"So...twelve years since you saw me?" Asked shiela  with worried eyes "...You were just a little kid when i saw you... Where are the others?" She asked a hint of sadness in her voice.

Bobby paused. Looking his older sister in the eye."Why change the subject to something like that? we were just laughin'"He asked, his tone a little defensive.
"It's important, where are they?" Asked shiela to her  younger brother, unafraid just because he was a big scary barbarian now.
"..."
"Please...?"
"Alright! Fine. after we came to this world, we managed to stick together for a bit. But them hank snuck off  in the middle of the night." bobby sit angrily. "Eric took over after he left. 'i'm the oldest. i should do it' That's about what he said. He shaped up a bit, but then we were ambushed. He got taken off by a bunch of bandits, Leaving us without a leader." Bobby said recounting that painful bit of history.
"But-"
"Then presto went crazy, Holed himself up in some old library looking for a way home, weather we came with or not. then it was just me Diana and Uni." He rubbed the sad unicorn's nose a bit. "We stuck together for a few years...She went a bit nutso too. I was her only friend with everyone gone. Eventually she went off on her own too. Said she was worried about herself, the things goin' on in her head." Bobby finished.

"i...Wow." She said hugging her younger brother. "I'm so sorry all that happened...But...how did you wind up teaming up with a bunch of orcs?"Bobby got out of his little fit of anger and lightened up.
"Well, After Diana went off on her own, Me and uni made do. I started hunting. And we wondered the world for a bit. Eventually i wound up in the mountains...Must've been about fourteen at the time. And the skullbreaker clan took me in, It was like i was one of them." Bobby said a bit happy at the memory "I was trained with them, ate with them, hunted with them. Everything was good. But then people went missing at night."
"Why?"
"we didn't know at first. But eventually me and uni got to the bottom of it. A big ol' lion was hiding out in a cave in the forest,must've come from a latnian circus or something. anyway it was eating up orcs that strayed too far from home. I don't quite remember what i did... I just remember seeing a little orc girl's body all tore up. And i got mad...By the end if it. i had the big cat,dead in a bear hug. before falling asleep"
"Bobby..."
"After that, the king of our tribe called me his son, Set  me up with these guys i'm traveling with, and sent me to 'find myself on the battlefield' and work the world over as a warrior. So here i am"
"I'm sorry all that happened to you..."
"No worries. If anything i'm happier than i ever was . here or at home."
"...Really?"
"Yeah! Sure i miss mom, dad..Baseball, tv,movies, But i'm a hero, i'm a leader. I'm someone special to these guys. Back home it was nothin' but mom and  dad screamin' at eachother now that i look back at it without the nostalgia...You were the one that was always there for me. and looking back i only wanted to go home because you did." Bobby explained.
"I see... Well, i guess if you're happy here... i am too! Besides it's not home without my baby brother." She said with an unsure smile on her face.
"I know that look sis, you're just trying to make me feel better."
"No, not at all."
"Even if i wanted to go home...I look like Conan and these tattooes don't exactly scrub clean. I doubt ma and pa would even think it was really me!"
"I... Yeah... that's true... But still I'm staying with you no matter what." She said with a matronly tone.
"Good... I'm glad. By the way  i forgot to mention, but i got a letter from someone a few days ago." He said, handing her the folded up paper.

Shiela took the letter reading through. And seeing the content she was the happiest she'd been in months.
