  1. [13:28] Gajin looked at Rakehell close for a few moments. His head shifted to the side for a moment and then in the other direction. Those serpentine hues taking in the sight of the man.
  2.
  3. "The pendant, now. Then you'll explain why I shouldn't put my blade to you for spitting in the faiths face?" As he said the words his voice had a soft edge to it. As if he were trying very hard to not explode in a rage. His hand shifted from his belt up to his right shoulder, fingers gripping the hilt of his sword. He didn't draw it just yet merely readying himself. One couldn't be to careful when it came to occultists.
  4.
  5. "Why aren't you in an Osronan jail Rakehell?" The last question was added almost as an afterthought. Bell had told him a great deal but the last he'd heard the man was still rotting in an Osronan jail. Far out of his reach seeing him right there in front of him? The young Drakan's lips curled back into asoft snarl as his fingers tightened around leather. With a sound of steel against steel the mighty sword Volund was pulled free from its sheath.
  6. (Gajin)
  7. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  8.
  9. [13:36] Rakehell would simply put his eyes on the blade tip, he'd grab his neck and give Gajin the amulet, it seemed pristine, even though all those months in prison put him through Hel, he looked weak, lithe.
  10.
  11. "I wasn't going to be the reason conflict would grow between Osrona and The Fireblooded, Gajin, I knew I was going to explode but it wasn't going to damage the people that sheltered me..."
  12.
  13. He'd take a few steps back.
  14.
  15. "You can try and kill me that won't help a damn thing, let me live my life away from the Tarian...away from the temple...My time there isn't in vain, I know I'm better for it, but..."
  16.
  17. He'd look around as if he needed to see if he was being watched.
  18.
  19. "I was more of a risk to the Fireblooded rather than a boon...If war ever breaks out know I'll be still fighting for the North, but I cannot, and will never bring myself to stain their visage..."
  20. (Rakehell Sanctum)
  21. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. [13:37] {Item} You picked up Pendant Of Garljing. Dropped by Rakehell Sanctum..
  24. [13:53] Reaching out he took the necklace, holding it up in the dark to look it over. It was still in a lovely shape he weighed it in his hand. Observing it out of the corner of their eye. Then with a grunt he shifted the pendant away and into a satchel at his hip.
  25.
  26. He listened to the words of Rakehell with a cold fury just below the surface. Each explanation seemed to stretch his lips into more of a sneer or into a snarl. In the dark the anointed Drake's reddish scales seemed to twinkle within the torchlight. More and more of those scale's shining as the talk went on. His heritage wasn't fully on display but it was welling at the surface.
  27.
  28. "Rake, know this. I am taking you back to the Temple. There you will face the Dragonlords judgement for renouncing the Red God." As he said the words his blade shifted forwards pointing at Rake's feet. "You can fight and you can struggle but I've stained this blade with the blood of worse things than you."
  29.
  30. He took a breath, waiting letting the knowledge that violence was only avoidable by one thing. Before he continued his voice taking on a fiery tone as his anger broke. "Now! Stop spouting non-sense about our relationship with Osrona! We're Therians we've never bowed to the whims of Osrona and we never will. Casting back the Petrakis and all their armies was easily done and this Archmagi won't be any different."
  31.
  32. His sword rose and as it did runes along its length began to glow a red hot. "You don't get it Rake, Garljing isn't about being nice. It isn't about making these lowlanders happy. Its about power! The power and strength to stand above the weak!" He spit the words with a hateful malice as his skin began to glow a soft red, horns bursting along his crown and curling backwards, great leathery wings extending for meters far from his back, and a thick tail dropping to thump upon the ground.
  33.
  34. "We're Dragon's Rakehell and we don't bow to the anyone! Let alone a city of Dragon Slayers like Osrona. You? You! Cause the war?! How much a fool you are Rake to think you're so important!" As he said the words he took a step forwards the transformation giving him a boost in raw mass as his form strengthened. "War is inevitable Rake to exist in peace is to stagnate. It is to let the blood in your veins go cold. Only in the fires of war can our true potential be reached!" As he shouted the words his sword swung up to point toward the peak of the Tarian, towards the Red Fortress of Garljing.
  35.
  36. Then it swung down to point directly at Rake. "Now kneel or fight! The time for words is over!" The young zealots eyes shown with a passionate fury. He was truly a child of Garljing and ready to fight for his gods honor.
  37. (Gajin)
  38. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  39.
  40. [13:59] Rakehell would back up, his eyes raising, he'd cock his head and speak far more aggressive, something snapped in Rakehell.
  41.
  42. "You fuck, you think I want to cause any damn tensions between my homelands? You don't want to fight me, I know it."
  43.
  44. Rakehell would be shaking as he spoke.
  45.
  46. "Now get out of my way..."
  47.
  48. A bubbling darkness would seem to steam off of the rakehell...dark magic and occult seemed to grow from his form. Snapping his fingers, a new staff would form in his hand, it was made of a marbled gemstone, a inhuman idol would sit at the top.
  49.
  50. Yet he wouldn't strike first, he would simply wait for Gajin to make his move.
  51.
  52. "I don't want to hurt you.
  53.
  54. Don't do anything you'll regret.
  55.
  56. I know I won't."
  57. (Rakehell Sanctum)
  58. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  59.
  60. [14:05] The sword slowly came back to Gajin, brought close as his free hand came to grip the handle. Holding it parallel to his body the blade glowing with a soft heat from its myriad runes. For a moment the young Drake said nothing, simply standing in the darkness across from Rakehell. His eyes glowing embers devoid of pity.
  61.
  62. "Finally Rake, you're showing some of that fire in your blackened veins."
  63.
  64. The words came out like a growl as he spoke. Each syllable harsh and guttural. Then he took a step towards Rakehell, and another, one after the other as he began to close the short distance between himself and the Occultists.
  65.
  66. "Now show me some your fires!"
  67.
  68. As he gaze the roar his foot stomped the ground, causing a cracking of stone as the earth split in a fissure under Rake's feet. Opening the Drakanite's roaring charge to close the distance. Battle between them had been joined.
  69. (Gajin)
  70. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  71.
  72. [14:13] Rakehell would fight to the best of his power, black tears would follow him as he would attack this once ally.
  73.
  74. "DAMMIT GAj~pffh"
  75.
  76. Rakehell would drop to his knees, and start vomiting a black liquid that would cover his face, Insect-like features would begin to form from this mass as it would wrap about his being, a maw at it's front clamping down upon the middle of Rakehell's back.
  77.
  78. "It was about time you broke the bastard."
  79.
  80. A monstrous smile would come over what would be visible of Rakehell's mouth.
  81.
  82. The creature would drop the staff and Rakehell's shadow-tendril arm would burst into a giant, far more creature-like form, mixed in with some stinnox like features.
  83.
  84. "I will enjoy taking your head for this"
  85. (Rakehell Sanctum)
  86. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  87.
  88. [14:18] A hand came up to whip away a spittle of blood from his lips. This wasn't an easy fight by any means and that damn occultism was starting to wear on him. What he needed was something to push the edge in his favor. Though as he watched Rake's occultism flair out of control he couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy.
  89.
  90. His serpentine hues looked towards the occulted conjuration as it spoke for Rake. Was it something beyond the man or was it simply him losing control of his own nature? It was hard to tell but that didn't matter. None of it did so long as he won.
  91.
  92. "Damn occultist, controlled by your own magic. Well! It doesn't matter let's see if you've got the power to back up that threat!" With a shout he pulled his blade up into a high stance and then started to rush down the magi once more.
  93. (Gajin)
  94. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  95.
  96. [14:21] {Won Dangerous RPB against Rakehell Sanctum}
  97. [14:21] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  98. [14:21] ** Gajin has inflicted an injury upon Rakehell Sanctum. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  99. [14:41] The Drakanite found himself fighting shadows more than Rakehell. Tendrils of darkness entrapping his legs and lashing at his shoulders and back. It was as if he fought not one warrior but countless of them. His fiery rage only growing with each lash struck to him.
  100.
  101. Flaring pain from his ribs warned him that the Shadow magi himself was nearby. He could feel his feet kicked from under him as he'd be hurtled by that brutish arm across the clearing though in the middle of his arc those great drakan wings shot out and caught him. Spinning him around so that his feet smashed into a tree. Shooting off he closed the gap between himself and the bug.
  102.
  103. His sword sang as it struck against Rakehell, each blow a thundering force that'd put the magi on the defensive. "Take my head will you!? Some insect like you best a dragon!?" His roaring heralded a risky move of his. Bringing his sword high, in a fire stance. He brought it down with all the force he could muster.
  104.
  105. The blow knocked away the shadow magi's staff, pushing past to dig into that occultic arm of his. He was aiming to cut it off at the source. Which is why when he felt it stick into something firm and stop he knew he'd made a mistake. Shadows clearing to reveal a might stone where that arm had been.
  106.
  107. The mighty Volund was half buried now and he was left with nothing but his own strength to fight. It was then he felt a fulisade of occultic corruption striking against him. In a roar his scales hardened as bones began to thicken over them.
  108.
  109. He pulled back a hand and then chucked a mighty bone club towards Rakehell. The blow hitting firmly upon his crown, firmly against that occultic sludge. Gajin was on him before he knew it, reaching down to yank the dazed Rake from the ground.
  110.
  111. He brought both his hands to the man's neck the blood inside his own body boiling. Causing his skin to take a reddish hue and his hands to be akin to flameswrapping around the man's throat. Smoke billowed out of Gajin's lips and nostrils as his lips pulled back to reveal a mouthful of jagged teeth. Smiling as he gave into that fiery rage and sught to end the Sanctum's life.
  112.
  113. "Bahahaha! You should have surrendered traitor at-least then you could have been sacrificed to Garljing!" The words left his lips and his hands tightened. It was just a shame he forgot about the insect when the blow came to the side of his own head he didn't see it coming but when the strike cleared and his vision steadied on thing was clear.
  114.
  115. The Occultist was gone.
  116. (Gajin)
  117. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  118.
  119. [14:48] The rakehell would stand silent as his throat was crushed by Gajin, his eyes by this point completely filled by the black-liquids. The eyes of the man silent and looked as if he wasn't struggling, but as Gajin would continue crushing his neck past to what would be fatal, Rakehell's neck would have black spikes shoot out, hitting his palms in the nerves, superficial in the long run but, extremely painful in the moment.
  120.
  121. Rakehell would then move his right arm, claw and clublike, to bash into the side of Gajin's head. Even though he couldn't see the occultist in his vision it's presence was felt within his mind. While Gajin was pushed to the ground, the Rakehell would rise, it seemed some part of his, humanity was left alive and he would attempt to speak, but upon the vibrations of his throat a gnarled voice was all to be heard, no words comprehensible...
  122.
  123. The creature would stop the antics...
  124.
  125. there was nothing for him in this conversation, simply leaning back in the air before being impaled by a five-foot spike that would suddenly form from the ground.
  126.
  127. Like some sort of liquid, Rakehell's body would be mangled within this shape, only for itself to slide into the ground.
  128.
  129. The dragons reigned supreme tonight.
  130. (Rakehell Sanctum)
