<Sciencegar> "Haven't been in Chicago in years. Wonder if they've rebuilt after the Inspectors." Katina fades into existence in a suburban area, and starts walking towards the local school.
<Sciencegar> "There should have been thousands of wrecked bugs, I wonder if they were recycled into art projects or low-rent housing..." She looks around, trying to pinpoint that signal.

<Sandwitches> The city... is in surprisingly good shape.  Arguably better than it was BEFORE the invasion.
<Sandwitches> It doesn;t take Katian long to pinpoint the signals...  One coming from a classroom near the top of a rather.. good condition school, and the other coming from what appears to be the administration office of the same.
<Sciencegar> "Hurm...Interesting. Time for more investigation."
<Sciencegar> Checking that no-one is watching too hard, Katinas physical form collapses on itself, and a purple and green ball floats into the bushes, while a shadow creeps along the yard and up the wall of the school, to rest in a nook in the windowsill of the office.
<Sandwitches> She finds the source of the signal, a annoyed looking brown haired young man, sitting beside a door with the word "Principal" on it.
<Sciencegar> (Uh oh, looks like someones in trouble. Hopefully this isn't a precedent for things to come.) Katina continues to watch, waiting for the boy to be called in so she can slip in and hear whats happened.
<Sandwitches> (Awareness)
<Sandwitches> As she waits, she hears the sirens of numerous police vehicles blare, as the cars approach the school.
<Sandwitches> Inside, the young man appears to hear them as well.
<Sciencegar> (......Oh crap. What the heck did this guy do?)
<Sandwitches> The young man hops up out of his seat... and makes a mad dash towards the window where Katina rests.
<Sciencegar> (Oh no you don't, bucko!!) As the boy leaps, the window is replaced by a Dirac Breach opening into the gardens of the Imperial Palace. (Not till I get my answers!)
<Sandwitches> The boy goes through the breach and crashes into the ground of the harden, rolling into a tree.
<Sciencegar> "You wait there kiddo, I think I'm gonna have to grab your brother too."
<Sciencegar> "And if you cause any hassle, palace security will apply their usual hassle prevention methods. They're pretty thorough on that score."
<Sciencegar> With this, she closes the breach. (Ok, I'm guessing I've got maybe 15 seconds before everything goes pearshaped. Better move)
<Sciencegar> Theres a Vrrrm, and Katina Tarask reappears outside the classroom with the other student, before opening the door and taking a look inside.
<Sandwitches> Inside the classroom two dozen teenages sit.  the one that catches her eye however is a blonde haired young man sitting in the corner.
<Sciencegar> "Er, hello, I'm looking for a..." (Better go out on a limb here..) "Jom Regulus? I need to speak to him on family business."
<Sandwitches> The young man practicly leaps out of his seat and takes off towards Katina.
<Sciencegar> "Uh, hi. Would you mind stepping outside a moment, sir, we have a bit to discuss."
<Sandwitches> The young man nods and follows Katina outside. "Ok."

<Sciencegar> Once they're away from the class, Katina turns to the boy. "What the hell has your father gotten me into? Your brother was running from the goddamned cops!! What has he done?"
<Sandwitches> The young man drops his face into his hands.  "Oh god, not again..."
<Sciencegar> "I had to fucking spring him from the principals office before he crashed through the window? How often does he do this?"
