Was building your own PBN worth it (when you look at your rankings now)?
I am planning on setting up my own PBN in the next couple of weeks as I am having a hard time in competing with my "enemies" :D!

If you have your own pbn with proper setups, you can really get ahead of your competition.

I have around 40 sites in my pbn and the thing is my whole network is paid off and the network itself is making me money by ranking for some long tails.

So it's awesome if you have a network which you can manage. I add like 80 posts on them per month ($8 per 700 words) but they are making me more than $1000 a month for sure and helping my main site rank..

I am in health industry as well :) you absolutely need great pbns to survive and make money in health niche!

just curious whats average DR and RD in youe network
Rd is over 100 for all the domains. Dr would be 30+.

I have few domains which costed $3000 too. Auctions got crazy for them, I am trying money sites with them. Let's see what happens :)

Domain last for 1 year. There is no way I won't make more than my money back.
Its better than buying regular SEO packages.
I keep putting off building my own network.
I have very few money sites atm, only link out from PBN sites once or twice is not very efficient considering the cost of domains and maintenance for a network.
OP, what domain strength are you going for? Personally, I can't afford domains that have backlinks from nytimes and the likes for PBN and I'm not sure how much juice a cheaper, say, $100 domain has.

Your own PBN ($$$$) > Premium PBNs ($$$) > Cheap Public PBNs ($$)
Build your own PBN if you know how to get good auction domains. Maximum benefit, the maximum cost
For money sites, buy posts from premium PBNs that give links from different unique articles with different linking formats. Good benefit, medium costs
Use cheap PBNs for only tiers, parasite, Youtube, web 2.0. The cost-effective way to make your link profile stronger
I think owning a PBN is a must if you have long-term goals in a high ticket/high volume niche. You should invest to win.
I'm so so interested in this topic, but it seems to be one topic that has not been properly attended to.

You only get to hear how effective PBNs are but you don't really understand the whole thing especially when it comes to buying domains for the purpose.

I personally feel a domain with DR and DA of about 20+ isn't powerful enough for the kind of result I hear people talk about but funny enough a sizable number of guys on BHW who talk about their PBNs always mention DA and DR in that range and they all claim to have seen success...

very strange and not properly explained in my very opinion.


Personally am not only interested in the topic but am looking forward to building one for myself and subsequent websites I'd build in the future but am still lost. Though I don't have an enormous budget but I have something good enough to start with a good number of sites on it.

If you are looking to buy things, you need to open a separate thread in the Want to Buy section. If people are private messaging you offering things for sale, they are breaking the rules and could be banned, so they are more likely to be scams.

1 or 2 and I link my guest posts from inner pages (strong guest posts only which I think I can rank)

I don't want to show 80 homepage links at a given time on ahrefs. So have to block ahrefs and others.

People report homepage, sitewides links even if they are not. So better make it difficult for everyone.

Different VPS, shared and 20 are hosted on blog network. Have to move them with the help of VAs

Managing gets difficult after 30+ blogs :l

I have the same question, would like to make my own PBN network but unsure.
i have the same question, i just receive a offer of 7 post on pbn (non-english) and all the domains have some links from autority sites and some spammy to inner pages and when i click i get redirected to the home

for example

domain.com/img/image.jpg
or
domain.com/post/article

and in both situations i was redirected to the home with 301 i assume

Honestly speaking, i don't think 10 tumblers only can really do some heavy lifting in the serps for you unless you're targeting low competition keywords.
The other exception is if your site's DA is somehow strong.
