Concepts of reformation
The Covenant of Karathia into Stargate Command.

With Ancientblue pretty much out of the equation, and dev's Stargate Command in full swing (over 30 people active daily), we have a huge opportunity to take.


I have spoken with DevSparkle and he is supporting of any and all of our decisions made here. For those that do not know, I was the leader of [SGX] Stargate Command prior to the formation of KTA, and DevSparkle was the lead scripting developer for SGX.

We moved to KTA and shutdown SGX, and now, two years later, he has finished the project. We remain on good terms.




So how would this look?
Currently, this is how we expect transfers to work:

All ranks will be transfered to the other groups equivelant.
Members of the Shocktrooper Corps will be moved to desired companies in the Stargate Special Operations Command
Members of Federal Security will be moved to the Security Forces unit.

SCC Companies will be moved into SG Teams (Under SGSOC)
Pathfinders: SG-2
Star Marines: SG-3
Spectres: SG-4

The Generals will be moved over to take direct oversight of their respective unit. They will likely be made Lieutenant' Colonel's.
Sergeant Major's will retain the rank of Chief Master Sergeant
Sergeant's will be spread between Staff Sergeant and Master Sergeant
Private = Airman
Private First Class = Airman First Class
Corporal = Senior Airman




What are the main problems at play here?

Unity. From the start Karathia has been very united. Our members are close knit and our values are well endowed. This may not be the case in SGC.

With this in mind, I hope to re-establish our alliances with SGC as well. Our involvement in the UWF was promised for KTA, but I would like to move that over to SGC if the merge is made.

And, of course, I do not wish to solely close KTA. I would urge even with the transfer, that all members remain in KTA in preparation for future changes. If the plan backfires, we have a home to return to.

Obviously there is a lot more to discuss - this is all preliminary and subject to change.
Please post in the chat your opinions and thoughts. I will also attach a survey to gain information on who wants to move ahead with this, and who doesn't.




Currently this document has only been shared with Officers and Sergeant Major's in KTA.
