- (In dialogue, the tactician character is called [Tact]. That's the code that makes the game say the player's name they put in at the beginning of the game.)

- Durga:
- Next victim, please, [Tact]. I'm bored.
- The tactician:
- Patience, beast. You'll have your chance.
- Durga:
- Fine.
- The tactician:

- The tactician:
- ...... ... You know, you're more easier to handle than I thought.
- Durga:
- You're a smart boy. I know you can provide the best feast for me. So, I don't mind being told to wait if it is you.
- The tactician:
- I'm not sure if I like the sound of that or not. What if I were to purposefully send you to your doom? Expecting you to die?
- Durga:
- I wouldn't know. I never lose.
- The tactician:
- You did to us, twice.
- Durga:
- I still live. Eventually, I'm going to pay you back for that. It isn't a true loss until one dies.
- The tactician:
- I... see.
- Durga:
- But don't worry. I'm not going to turn on you. I enjoy fighting and killing above all else. And my way of doing things may seem odd to some. But I'm still a mercenary by profession. I won't betray the one who I'm contracted to help.
- The tactician:
- I hope so...

- The tactician:
- I've been thinking about something. How did you survive being washed away back then? No normal person could have survived that.
- Durga:
- I'm called Durga the invincible for a reason, you know... Sigh... but I admit, I almost did die. I'm not sure how, but I believe the sword I had saved me.
- The tactician:
- That blue bladed sword...
- Durga:
- The Star Sword. A gift from the prince. I'm not sure where that thing came from... But its power is what saved me, I'm positive.
- The tactician:
- Where is it now?
- Durga:
- The sword protected me somewhat... But I blacked out at some point in the rapids. When I came to, I was washed up on land. Never found the sword, it's probably out there somewhere though.
- The tactician:
- That thing might even be stronger than the legendary weapons... Too bad, we could definitely use its power.
- Durga:
- Bah, in the end, It's a mere crutch. You nor I need such a thing to win this. The weapon never makes the warrior.
- The tactician:
- Huh, so you can not sound like a brute sometimes.
- Durga:
- What was that?
- The tactician:
- ... Ah, look, enemy's over there!
- Durga:
- Where!?
- *she vanishes*
- The tactician:
- ...

- Durga:
- Why...! I've really had enough of you, [Tact]!
- The tactician:
- What...?
- Durga:
- I want it now... I want you right now! My arm is ready to chop that brainy head of yours right off...!
- The tactician:
- ...?!
- Durga:
- Sigh... But I know I can't. How depressing.
- The tactician:
- Phew...
- Durga:
- It wouldn't be ideal to strike you down now anyway. What makes you formidable is how you command others. Besides... to be honest, I could snap you in two like a twig one-on-one. No fun in that, and your current army is too busy with... this. But mark my words, once this is all over...
- The tactician:
- I'll never catch a break, huh? I'm for challenging myself, but a nightmare like you always chasing me is something else.
- Durga:
- You're my very special prey, [Tact]. I'm afraid I won't let you go until one of us dies... It's all because you made me fear death for the first time...
- The tactician:
- How?
- Durga:
- Now, I'm not afraid to die on the battlefield. But what you put me through...! Well, that was new! I'm used to the idea of simply being killed in battle. I was afraid... but the rush was something else! Not felled by a blade or magic... But from a genius mind! I MUST face you again. To either experience that feeling again... or to crush you into nothing and become even stronger...
- The tactician:
- You're completely insane...
- Durga:
- I'll be coming for you. One day after this war is over. So don't slack off, will you? It'll make the kill less satisfying if you grow weak...
- *she vanishes*
- The tactician:
- Urgh... I'll worry about that later, I guess. For now, she's too valuable to just kill off...
