Zecia and Asher escorted Kacper on his ship to the darkwaters that leads to the Colonies. After a heartfelt goodbye and some final reminiscing Kacper departed into the darkwaters. The next morning before departing themselves Zecia and Asher headed back to say one final goodbye to everyone at the island and check to see how the fight went. As they sailed up to the docks of the Dwarves heavily fortified walls all they could see is debris of ship wrecks, empty docks, and animals in disarray. Unable to search the port area due to the aggressive guards they fired flares furiously into the sky crying out for the Dwarves. After a long moment with no response it was all too clear what occurred. Silently they sailed from port to port around the island, again, no response. Zecia suggested they go down and check the Refuge one last time for news of what may have happened. As they sail around the corner from the warport, there is nothing unusual and its strangely serene. Upon arriving at the docks, they scour area looking for signs of life, there was none. As they walk out of the Refuge village gate and turn back one last time they notice a sign and it reads "Farewell. Refuge. and Thank you." At this point it has become all to apparent what has happened. Zecia and Asher return to their ship and depart for the colonies. Saddened, angered, and forever changed...Zecia and Asher plot and scheme their return to these war torn waters in the memory of the Dwarves... As they sail into the darkwaters, three flares are fired, one for The Refuge, one for The Dwarves, and one for the dead.
