Dear Ms. Marie,

Thank you for your letter of invitation !

Regarding your last e-mail I still have a few questions about the courses I will take during my time in Lyon.
First of all I would like to ask you if it were possible for me not only to take courses in English but in French as well.

As for the classes, aside from French Language and Business English, I would like to know more about Academic and Professional seminars, and about the Projects.
Are those going to be a part of the courses I would take or are those something entirely different ?

Also I have received the email from Ms. Petra, with the list of courses taught in English, though I could not find any of the courses you sent me
(>Object oriented programming (Java) – 5 ECTS
>Web programming – 5 ECTS
>Advanced Database – 5 ECTS
>Process modeling and simulation – 5 ECTS).
Therefore I would like to ask you where I could find a complete listing of all courses related to Computer Science such as that.
And for Advanced Database, is it the same as Applied Database / ORACLE ? Because I think it's required for me to take that course for both semesters when I'm in Lyon and Mr. Yacine said that the course is available there.

In addition, here's the list of the courses I would need to partake for the first semester :
- Compilation Techniques
- Operating System
- Applied Database
- Mobile Game Creative Design

I have searched through the university's website, and I've found some courses that I think maybe closest to the courses I need to partake, here's the list :
- Système d'exploitation UNIX - for Operating System
- UE Plateforme De Jeux - for Mobile Game Creative Design

I will have the complete list of courses I should take from my university by this Friday. I hope I could have the list of courses related to Computer Science before then.

On another note, regarding your new email, are those accommodations the same as the one you've given to me before ? Because I was just about to send an email to the CardinalCampus Residence regarding the availability.

Dear Chandra,
Except French language module, the other courses are in English, or in some cases in french with an english speaking teacher who helps you individually.
You received 2 different lists of courses which are all the options we can offer to Erasmus Mundus students :
-The one I sent you is about computer sciences which is our lab specialty.
-The one Petra sent you is about general courses. These are optional. If 1 or 2 of these look interesting to you, you can choose them. Once in France you will have to register to these courses depending on the remaining vacancies.

Regarding professional seminars and research projects, they will be your main activity. Indeed, courses represents a few hours in the week. Besides you will be supervised by one or two research teachers to work on a research project during all your stay. About one day per week, we organize a “research seminar” which is a meeting with all the team (Lab students + supervisors) during which 3 students present their work to everyone. This way you all know about your colleagues work and you can help each other improving your work and oral presentation skills.

About the accommodation, the ones I told you about in my last email are not the same as Cardinal Campus residences. You can still contact them of course, but usually student residences are not able to confirm any booking before august.

Dear Ms. Marie,

Are there any other classes I can take aside from the list that you and Ms. Petra gave me ?
Because I don't think I can find any Computer Science related class from the list and I need to take certain class (such as Applied Database) for having my credit transferred to my home university.
In case that's all the classes I can take, is it still okay for me to do the Mobility program if I can't transfer many credits back to my home university ?

I have arranged a meeting with my university's department of Computer Science tomorrow to discuss about the Learning Agreement and see how many classes from the list can be taken as equivalent with the classes I need to partake.
If there are any other Computer Science related classes I can take, please let me know as soon as possible.

As for the accommodation, in case I choose to stay in Cardinal Campus, will I get reimbursement from the scholarship ?
And if yes, will it include the additional cost too (such as electricity) ?

Do you think it can fit your University requirements ?
For the accommodation, whatever is the one you choose, you will receive your 1000 euros grant every month to finance it and to finance your day to day life (bills, food ect). You will manage this money as you want.

In addition, if you register to the CAF you will also receive up to 150 euros every month to help you finance your rent.

I'm sorry but I forgot to tell you that Cardinal Campus has replied to me. They sent me a Rental Application to be filled and sent back to them, and they told me to get back to them in August.
In the Rental Application, they need some information about the guarantor.
For this matter, do I need to just send the attestation of scholarship or do I really need a guarantor ?
