background: hai grew up in an average household with an average childhood. her parents weren't particularly uncaring, and always made sure their children were happy and well fed. throughout her life, she had always been exceptionally close to her brother, and picked up some of her personality traits from him. their relationship wasn't the typical one -- they often bonded over silence, and were considered strange to those around them. when she was fourteen, she joined jyp entertainment as a trainee with her brother, but later left and became a trainee at another company.

personality: if you were to sum up hai in one word, it would be reserved. she's not one to go out of her way to be noticed, and usually prefers to sit back and avoid the spotlight, often shoving it onto others. she doesn't require much, other than food, and of course sleep. she is often interested by trivial things (that she doesn't think is trivial at all) like video games, anime, tv shows, and movie series. considered an inner dweeb by her friends, she gets uncomfortable when people tease her about it and would rather indulge herself in solitude. although she's one of the most quiet members (by choice) she can be very grumpy when she doesn't get enough sleep, which happens more often than people would like it to. its like flipping a switch, and sometimes people can mistake her for bipolar. some days, if she's content and well rested, she'll be calm and peaceful, to where she's actually willing to smile. on other days, though (which are most of them) she's extremely touchy and will snap at anyone and anything that annoys her. she can be very sarcastic and sassy, and often can found in the strangest positions in hopes of sleeping. whenever she gets over the bouts she experiences, though, hai can be quite enjoyable with her witty banter and lame nerdy puns that almost no one understands. her friends often call her "yoongi 2.0" because of her resemblance not only in stature (she's one of the shortest memebers in her group) but also personalty to the bts member. hai can be a bit insensitive and harsh because she doesn't exactly process emotions, and often says something brash without meaning to. she seems like the member that would have the coolest head, but is actually the first one to freak out in any situation. she's easily stressed, and basically frets over nothing. she tends to put things off until the last minute, all the while brooding over and complaining about it. she's definitely not the first person to make a move, and often doesn't even move at all because her spot on the couch is too comfortable (same tbh.) at times she can be selfish in a childish manner (think not wanting to share something with someone because she wants it to herself.) she can be very possessive, and is easily jealous -- its not very obvious, but she becomes more pouty than usual and her eyebrows often furrow. hai is also very protective over her friends, and although she might be lazy, the moment any one of them gets insulted, she's ready to cut a bitch. overall, her lazy and uncaring look makes her hard to like, but her killer smile is what sways everyone to bias her (like how everyone seems to bias yoongi now lmao.)

first impressions:

✧ at the beginning he's extremely sweet and polite, not really being loud because she doesn't seem like the type who would like it. always the sunshine he is, rather than being offended when she seems to ignore him, he worries about how she always wants to sleep.
✧ once their more acquainted, he completely lets go. he becomes his loud and adorable self, always doing cute (albeit kind of dumb) things and just being extremely loveable and ten times more caring.
✧ towards the end, when they've moved past simply acquaintances, he cools down the slightest bit, only because she's sort of stretched out of her bubble of recluseness and joined him in his prankster ways -- he's still just as caring though.

how she acts around him:
✧ didn't really say anything and let him do most of the talking, tuning him out some of the time because she'd sort of fallen asleep. doesn't think he's annoying anymore persay, just sometimes wonders how he's so upbeat and happy all the time.
✧ once they've known each other for a while, she starts to understand that he's always excited and hyper, and slowly adjusts, inching her way to being more open and she starts talking more (especially when she finds out he's a nerd for harry potter too.)
✧ and then, after they're good friends, she has opened up a lot and is more willing to laugh and smile around anyone. her members especially like the effect he's had on her personality, and how much more easygoing she's become.
