So, for a recap on part 1, you (the speaker) came and cuddled with your friend because they were feeling really low. You told them that you loved them, but at the time, it was only for comfort and reassurance. Now, the next morning, you wake up, chill by the campfire and then take a walk together, where the listener wants to talk to you about your words from the night before. You then confess your feelings, which gets a bit emotional as you voice your insecurities about your possible relationship.

[yawn] Whoops, almost fell asleep again. Gotta get up. For realsies now.

[shiver] Let me get this hoodie on quick. Wait, is this theirs? Heh, even better.

[SFX: tent zips open]

[inward hiss] Oh dear god what is this weather.

[SFX: swing creaking throughout these next lines]

Hey, come closer. You're going to get wet if you stay over there.

Yes, over here! Come give me a little push!

Oh, do you remember that story I always tell you? About how the older kids could make the younger ones just straight up *fly* on these?

Yeah those swings were *huuuge*. Well, I think they were. My kid brain probably freaked out too much over it.

[soft, sheepish] Mhmm. It still kind of worries me. I know there's no chance of it happening with you, but still, don't push me too hard, ok?


It's nice out, isn't it?

I know I said it was cold, but its just...nice, y'know? Sitting here, *almost* warm and dry, watching the rain.

Oh...well that didn't take too long. I *did* say we could talk about it today.

I'm assuming you *were* sleeping, then?

[deep breath] Ok, so...last night, when I told you that I loved you, I said that it didn't matter how, because I knew you were hurting. I knew you needed to hear that. But I was being completely, 100 percent honest with you. In every sense of those words.

[soft] I've always loved you.

We've been together for ages now. And we've been, like, our own team for all that time. It didn't really matter what was going on with anybody else, because you were always on my side, and I was always on yours. Even though we're such an unlikely pair.

But I guess that's what made us fit together so well.
