Cherche: Yes, I am. Do you need anything?
Sully: Word around the street is that you’re incredibly strong.
Cherche: Well… I suppose.
Sully: I got a proposition for ya.
Sully: Spar with me.
Cherche: Are you sure about this?
Sully: Course. I wanna see if I can beat you.
Sully: I don’t know you at all, and this might be a good way to meet you.
Sully: Plus, I’ve never fought with you. Gotta see who’s better, you know?
Cherche: I guess…?
Sully: Oh, and no mounts. Let’s go hand-to-hand.
Cherche: I don’t know…
Cherche: I’m not that strong without Minerva.
Sully: That sounds like bullcrap to me.
Sully: C'mon, it won’t take that long.
Cherche: I...
Cherche: I'm sorry, Sully, but I don't feel like fighting. I hope that's alright.
Sully: You're wimping out on me?
Cherche: I suppose I am. Perhaps another day?
Sully: Hmph. Okay.

Cherche: Hello, Sully.
Sully: Hey, Cherche.
Cherche: If you would still like to spar, I'd be up for it today.
Sully: Well, if you're sure.
Sully: But I gotta ask--why didn't you want to do it before?
Cherche: Truth be told, I dislike fighting in general.
Cherche: I do train, but I train on my own, typically.
Cherche: When you asked me, we had a battle the day before, and I simply didn't feel like picking up my axe again.
Cherche: It's... complicated, but raising a weapon against someone else, even if it's just sparring... I didn't feel comfortable, I suppose.
Sully: I think I get it. If you don't wanna spar, I won't force ya.
Cherche: But I haven't trained in a while, and I know you're strong, so I think I should try at least once.
Sully: If you're sure.
Sully: But why do you fight if you don't like it?
Cherche: It is our duty to fight for the ones we care about, no? To protect them and their future.
Sully: Yeah, that's true. That's why I fight, at least. That, and I'm good at it.
Sully: But you really must care about people if you're willing to go into battle for them.
Cherche: Yes, I do care about them a great deal. I try to help out in any way.
Sully: Do ya miss them?
Cherche: Of course. But I have Minerva with me, and the Shepherds, so it isn't all that bad. Don't you miss your friends and family?
Sully: Yeah, but most of my friends ARE in the Shepherds. I fight for my family and friends, sure... But I fight alongside my friends, too. Gotta protect them out there, yeah?
Cherche: Of course.
Cherche: Would you consider me a friend, Sully?
Sully: Hell yeah!
Sully: [grinning] Unless you beat me. Then I might have to reconsider.
Cherche: Well, we shall see, won't we?

Cherche: Hah, that was intense.
Sully: Yeah. Don't think I've been challenged like that for a while...
Cherche: You truly think so?
Sully: Course I do. We tied, didn't we? That means you're strong.
Sully: You must be unstoppable with Minerva.
Cherche: Well, thank you.
Cherche: I must say, sparring with you was enjoyable.
Sully: Good! Good.
Sully: I know ya said you don't like fighting, but I kinda thought this was my best way to get to know you.
Sully: I dunno, I feel like I've gotta challenge everyone at least once, you know? I see how tough you are, and I learn more. It's my thing.
Cherche: Oh, of course.
Cherche: Although I imagine you're much tougher than me.
Sully: Eh, we've all got our strengths.
Cherche: I think I'm much stronger in cooking and sewing, anyhow. In truth, I much prefer them.
Sully: We're total opposites, then. I hate doing domestic crap like that. The battlefield's where I shine.
Cherche: Hah, that's funny, isn't it?
Cherche: Our personalities are quite different, but at the end of the day, we get along well.
Sully: Well, at the end of the day, we've got one important similarity.
Sully: We're fighting for those we care about.
Sully: Oh, that, and we have mounts. I've got my horse, and you've got your wyvern.
Cherche: I suppose so.
Cherche: We're also very tough ladies.
Sully: Hell yeah. And we tough ladies gotta stick together, don't you know?
Cherche: Of course I do.

Sully: Cherche, I've got a... weird question for you.
Cherche: Yes?
Sully: Do you have... er, any suitors, maybe?
Cherche: Suitors?
Sully: You know. People who are interested in you.
Sully: Wanna marry you, maybe.
Cherche: Oh, well...
Cherche: People have been interested in me, in the past.
Cherche: But they can never get past Minerva.
Cherche: And, quite frankly, I will never give up Minerva for anyone.
Cherche: So... for now, I've given up on the idea of marriage.
Sully: Yeah?
Cherche: Er, yes.
Cherche: Sully, why are you asking this? You're acting a little... weird.
Sully: Ah, screw it.
Sully: I wanted to give you something.
Cherche: A... a ring?
Sully: Cherche, I think I love you.
Sully: I mean, you're a tough girl! Who's gorgeous! And nice! How COULDN'T I love you?
Sully: And, for what it's worth, I ain't scared of Minerva.
Sully: I will fight your wyvern if that's what it takes to prove myself.

Sully: I can take ya, punk!
Cherche: Er... You don't have to fight Minerva.
Cherche: In fact, please don't. That won't end well for anyone.
Cherche: If you can accept Minerva, then I accept you.
Sully: R-really?
Cherche: I love you too, Sully.
Cherche: You're strong and beautiful, yourself. Plus, I feel we understand each other quite well, even if we're different.
Cherche: I, ah, I actually wanted to get a ring for you, but I hadn't done so yet.
Sully: Heh, well, I've been thinking about this for awhile.
Sully: It's so unlike me, I've been really nervous, y'know? Didn't wanna lose you as a friend.
Cherche: Well, tough ladies stick together, no?
Sully: Hell yeah!
