- Overview:
- All "Tiers" have been merged together into one Stage. Stages are now called Types.
- Skill points have been removed; the full benefits of a skill are now granted on learning them via player character levels (effectively closes the gap between a HM Level 1 and a HM Level 15 player).
- Hongmoon Skills still need to be learned. There is a side option that allows using the Hongmoon Skill effect.
- Skills normally learned through the previous Tiers (e.g. Multiple Blaze/Chi Bomb) are separated from the skill and given by default.
- A new energy resource, Hongmoon Energy, was added. A full bar (10,000 points) is needed to activate Ultimate skills.
- Class-specific Changes:
- Global cooldown on all skills removed.
- Max number of Flame and Frost Orbits reduced from 3 to 1.
- All Flame skills now generate one Flame Orbit on critical hit.
- All Frost skills now generate one Frost Orbit on critical hit.
- Flame Soul/Frost Soul removed.
- Flame Palm (LMB):
- Stage 1 (Auto Detonate) removed.
- Stage 2/Type 1 (Damage):
- Deals [1.20] Flame damage -> Deals [3.20] Flame damage
- New effect: Generates 95 Hongmoon Energy on hit to enemies inflicted by stun, daze, knockdown, airborne
- Hongmoon:
- New effect: Generates 1 additional focus on critical hit
- Stage 3/Type 2 (Heal):
- Deals [1.20] Flame damage up to 3 enemies -> Deals [3.20] Flame damage
- Area: 8 meter radius -> Single Target
- Hongmoon:
- Recovers 1 focus per hit -> Generates 1 additional focus on critical hit
- Barrage (LMB): Removed
- Frost Palm (RMB):
- Hongmoon Skill placeholder removed
- Stage 1/Type 1 (Slow):
- New effect: Generates 95 Hongmoon Energy on hit to enemies inflicted by stun, daze, knockdown, airborne
- Stage 2/Type 1 (Basic):
- New effect: Generates 95 Hongmoon Energy on hit to enemies inflicted by stun, daze, knockdown, airborne
- Removed effect: Creates 1 frost orbit on critical hit
- Removed effect: Does not generate threat
- Mystic Fire/Mystic Ice (F):
- Becomes Mystic Fire and deals flame damage in Flame Build; becomes Mystic Ice and deals frost damage in Frost Build
- New effect: Increases evolved attack power gained from equips by 20% and then increases it by 100 during use
- New effect: Generates 20 Hongmoon Energy
- Removed effect: User gains Enhanced Flame/Frost for 15 sec
- Flame Fury/Frost Fury (F): Removed
- Windstorm (F): Removed
- Dragonblaze (F):
- Consumes 3 Flame Orbits -> Consumes 1 Flame Orbit
- (Flame Build only) New effect: Increases flame damage gained from equips by 40% and then increases it by 100 for 15 sec
- (Flame Build only) New effect: Decreases the cooldown of Meteor Shower by 3 sec (no longer affects Blazing Wall)
- Cooldown: 0 sec -> 12 sec
- Dragonfrost (F):
- Consumes 3 Frost Orbits -> Consumes 1 Frost Orbit
- (Frost Build only) New effect: Increases frost damage gained from equips by 40% and then increases it by 100 for 15 sec
- (Frost Build only) New effect: Decreases the cooldown of Cold Snap by 3 sec (no longer affects Snowball/Frost Tornado)
- Cooldown: 0 sec -> 12 sec
- Dual Dragons (F):
- Consumes 3 Flame and Frost Orbits -> Consumes 1 Flame and Frost Orbit
- Second Wind (Tab):
- Hongmoon Skill placeholder removed
- Stage 2 (Knockback/Knockdown + Slow Disable + Charge Disable) and 3 (Daze + 5 Focus Generation) removed
- Stage 1/Type 1 (Escape):
- Heals the user 5% of their health on recovering from grapple, grab, phantom grip -> Heals the user 5% of their health
- New effect: Inflicts 2 sec daze on escape from stun, daze, knockdown, unconscious
- Fire Storm (Tab):
- Hongmoon Skill placeholder removed
- Stage 1 (Damage) and 4 (Heatwave Daze) removed.
- Stage 3 (Heatwave Knockdown) moved to Z Skill and replaces Wildfire/Ring of Fire
- Stage 2/Type 1 (Deflect):
- New effect: Generates 105 Hongmoon Energy on hit to enemies inflicted by stun, daze, knockdown
- New effect: Pierces deflect
- Frost Armor (Tab):

- New effect: Generates 116 Hongmoon Energy on counter
- Stage 3/Type 3 Flame (Combo):

- Deals [3.50] additional flame damage on hitting an enemy with 5 stacks of ember -> Max speed Dragonchar available on detonating 5 stacks of ember
