Speedplans for the remainder of 2018 (and a bit of 2019)

On Sunday November 11th I have an in-person Crash 1 100% marathon run for NoReset at the Next Level Gaming Convention in Toronto. It will be livestreamed at twitch.tv/NoResetMarathon at 11:30 AM EST (subject to delay ofc). Until then I'll be practicing the game to be prepared. After that, I'm probably gonna drop crash 1 100% for quite a while because I'm feeling burnt out already lol. The amount of time I've put into that category this year has been rewarding, but tiring.

So what's in my mind for after Nov 11? I'd like to do runs of many 2D mario games but I lack the consoles for those and I no longer wanna use emu for them, so I wanna find more Crash stuff to do until after AGDQ where I will be comfortable spending saved money on them.

For the rest of November I'll probably try Crash 1 Any% again. It probably won't be for long since I don't like the category as much these days, but we'll see what happens. I'd probably be satisfied with a 40:4x or 40:5x. If I still loved this category like I used to, I would probably try for more.

For December I'll probably play Crash 3 again. I'd like a 44 in No IG and at least a 2:05 in 105%. I'll probably go for 105% first because it's easier. 44 seems difficult but 100% doable by me at some point. I may just get a few improvements before 44 if I play this before AGDQ.

Crash 2 is off for the foreseeable future until someone makes a legal no-input delay emu that also doesn't feel choppy on my pc (haha imagine). And there's no way I'm importing PAL stuff + the other equipment you need. Don't really care anyway since I find this game more boring than 1 and 3, always have.


2019 ideas:
SMB1 any% return + learning warpless

SMB2 re-learning any% and all levels

SMW more 11 exit and definitely learning 96 exit (with friends too) and maybe no star-world/all castles.

Lost Levels Warpless D-4 maybe

Simpsons Hit & Run all story missions re-learning will happen at some point :P

I've thought about SMB3 100% as well even though I said I would probably never learn this game. I'll probably give it a shot, it seems way better than the other categories.
