Marvel Magic Ramblings

(Note: This may change when scenarios are released)

Walking the path of magic can be a strange road. I had always had a great interest in magic however an early “encounter” in this world  had wracked my body damaging my stomach, my hands and even reducing my age for some reason.
Still I remained undeterred taking a more scientific approach to it.

I was grateful that my wives and companions were with me as my new situation made things hard. Even my powers had been diminished with my age.

Things were strange immediately New heroes were replacing the old ones and things just seemed different. Like the universe itself had been corrupted but not by evil… by another force. I was going to try and seek the cause of it but I began to be plagued by dreams… horrible dreams of two universes colliding and being destroyed.

My own powers being dim I checked with Akitsu and Doom-chan (who was acting a bit withdrawn lately) and working together we were able to confirm this was a warning of an impending incident.

Using our combined scientific knowledge we were able to use dimensional mathematics  to locate the dimension that was going to crash in to ours.

It was about this time I choose to take Doom-chan aside.

I was truly worried about her, she seemed withdrawn sullen it was entirely unlike her. Especially since she had finally gotten the true doom like power she had sought.

It was a difficult discussion. I assured her that I was worried about her because she was my friend and I cared about her. That seemed to cause enough of a crack in her usual doom persona to open up a bit. Two things were bothering her. First was that she was still dealing with the loss of her own home in this universe.

I am not the best with loss as it is and I know we gain new memories at times with these lives. With that I could only hug her (She reluctantly accepted… I was surprised actually)

The other was her face. She had gotten the power she sought but it was not without cost… At first she refused to show me her face claiming that I could do nothing to fix it if she couldn’t but slowly she relented

I was a little shocked at first but smiled and reassured her that it wasn’t too bad and that we could fix it together. She turned from me and called me a fool but admitted she appreciated the kindness.

With that out of the way and her seeming to return more to her usual self we returned to try and figure out what to do.  We decided to head to the other Universe to investigate…

The other universe… Was a desolate looking place… a ruined city with broken buildings as far as the eye could see at first we thought we were alone until a figure dropped down from the side of the building at first we thought it was spiderman but then we noticed there were things wrong… his costume was worn with holes in it… as was the flesh and muscle underneath. He said some crack about us looking good enough to eat and I instructed Akitu to throw up a shield which we got up barely before webbing hit it.

Then we heard a Roar and there was a loud crash with a cry of “Hulk Hungry!”

That was when I started shouting for Akitsu to get us out of there, get us back home.

She tried but failed… Then A familiar figure floated in to view one that made my heart sank and his long red cloak of levitation came in to view. Dr. Strange and clearly suffered the same fate as the other two and was missing parts of himself. Thankfully he ordered the other two to leave us alone stating he had us.

There was a brief battle between Akitsu and Strange but she was trying to keep up a physical barrier to protect us and was defeated despite having help from Tamamo and Doom-chan. I sent everyone besides doom chan away to protect them and was .

We were captured because Strange was at full power in his home dimension.
He tried to interrogate us to find out what we knew but I managed to trick him in to revealing he was the one breaking down the walls between the two dimensions as this entire dimension had become infected with the zombie plague.

We were also found out the Dr. Strange from our dimension was being held here a captive as he had investigated this dimension too. However Zombie Dr. Strange left us alone as he went to check the progress on the breaking down of the dimensional walls. With that I was able to slip out of the magic bonds  with the help of doom-chan and we  went to rescue our Dr. Strange who was being guarded by Sentry. Snowflame momentarily managed to steal Sentry’s powers as Tamamo locked him away with a curse and we freed Strange (Who it turns out had been sending me the dreams I had been having)  and fled the dimension.

We heard from strange that it was too late to stop the breakdown on their side but it would begin with an Incursion point if we could push them back there we might have a chance of holding things together long enough to reseal it.

Figuring out the force that was corrupting our world I gathered together a team of magically powered minorities, particularly those that had taken over for established heroes. We also quickly armored them up so that they couldn’t be infected easily.

We reached the destined incursion point and met what was an army of zombies. I summoned up Van Hellsing to use his ability to turn undead which greatly hampered them as the rest of the heroes fought the zombies. Strange fought Strange and I Backstabbed zombie strange with Caliburn unleashing every bit of holy energy I had in to him causing his physical body to explode. He tried to possess my body but my will was strong enough to lock him inside my mind.

Strange now freed up began to start to close the incursion with the help of the rest of the mystics including my mystically powered companions. We successfully sealed the dimension back up we saved the day.
