  7. Project success
  8. It’s important for us to define what success looks like to know if we have achieved it. The success criteria will be defined and measured on different key stages. We aim to document our success criteria early to get our project stakeholders to sign up to them. This creates security and there's no ambiguity about what we are set out to do.
  9.
  10. Intermediary measures will be taken at control phases throughout the whole project process. During the intermediary process we will brainstorm with our team to ensure that we are focused, in line with our timetable, and that the management of the project is right.
  11.
  12. Project completion is the first stage with a clearly defined success criteria, to ensure whether we are actually delivering anything useful for our stakeholders. Once the project is completed we should be able to say whether or not, and to what extent, we met the following criteria:
  13.
  14. Schedule - Do we fit in our predefined time table?
  15. Scope - Are we on scope?
  16. Cost - Needs to be close to the pre-planned budget.
  17. Quality
  18. Risks - Potential errors and omissions identified and taken into account.
  19.
  20. The next stage is the success of findar. This is about defining the criteria by which the product and service delivered is deemed successful. The following objectives will be measured once the product is released on the market, and continuously (if possible) over a defined period of time:
  21.
  22. Customer numbers
  23. Application downloads
  24. Engagement. How frequently does users come back to findar?
  25. Customer/user satisfaction. In a survey, 90% of users should rate the app as “easy to use”.
  26. The app is used by the users in scope
  27. Uptime 99.9%
  28.
  29. The last stage is the business success. We will measure how much value findar brings to the organisations that have bought our service. The following objectives will also be measured continuously, as it allows us to track changes/trends over periods of time. Keywords are:
  30.
  31. Does the product produced by the project contribute financially? Ether measurable income increase (relevant if customers are building managers of shopping areas) or a measurable reduction in expenses (relevant if customers are managing commercial buildings like hospitals).
  32. Does findar give any measurable competitive advantages?
  33. Are the building managers happy with findar’s contributions?
  34. Are we getting steady, satisfactory net revenue?
  35. Is the application deemed successful in the eyes of the stakeholders?
