- The blademasters of the Thousand Sons Ammitara Occult, numbering almost a hundred strong, cut a path towards Valdor himsel£ in the hope they could injure or kill the leader of the golden host. Of the hundred, less than thirty managed to fight their way past the Custodians and Sentinel Guard that surrounded Valdor. Those thirty closed on the First of the Ten Thousand as a single body, each wielding long blades that, even without the psychic charge normally provided by its user, could still cut ceramite armour asunder with ease. Valdor slew them all, but at great cost to himself, for at least one of the crimson warriors had left his mark upon the lord of the Custodes, red blood staining his gold armour.
