  1. An evacuated section of downtown Jump City lit up with explosions. Seven Titans battled against three monstrosities. Cinderblock bellowed and barreled down the street. Plasmus shrieked, ricocheting between buildingfronts and spraying out volleys of acidic, green goop. Overload stood further down the street, roaring as he flexed, unleashing destructive arcs of electricity throughout the impromptu battleground.
  2.
  3. "TITANS!" Robin called over the sounds of combat, blindly backflip-dodging through an aerial matrix of acidic spray and lightning, "END IT!"
  4.
  5. Robin landed and flung a disc at high velocity down the street at Overload. It connected with his electro-form and the monster screeched as its power began to fluctuate wildly. Overload staggered backward, focusing on keeping itself stable.
  6.
  7. "IT'S ABOUT TA GET HEAVY!" Cyborg yelled as he charged directly down the center of the road at Cinderblock's barreling form. High above, in the moonlit sky, Starfire dove from her vantage point in a graceful blur of green.
  8.
  9. "RRRAAUUUGH!" Cinderblock roared, noticing Cyborg's challenge. The hulking creature picked up its pace, each of its footsteps shaking the street and surrounding buildings with its considerable weight.
  10.
  11. "AAAAAAH!" Cyborg battle-cried as he locked eyes with the monster. His fist shifted into a scifi cannon which began rapidly pulsing blue-white light as it charged up power.
  12.
  13. The screaming combatants quickly drew closer. Cinderblock raised both arms high, stony fists clenched. Cyborg launched himself into a Herculean leap, streaking blue-white through the air as he brought his cannon-arm back for a finishing blow. At the last second, Starfire soared into Cinderblock's field of vision, her fists clasped together and burning with a concentrated starbolt. Starfire flew expertly about Cyborg's form, and the two struck Cinderblock together in the chest. Their combined attack sent out a blastwave, shattering windows in the buildings around them. With a great flash of light, Cinderblock grunted, its stony form splintering with cracks and fissures, as it was lifted off its feet and sent in a huge, arcing trajectory through the air, flying up above the building tops before crash-landing well behind the still fluctuating Overload. As Cinderblock struck, he broke through the pavement and down into the sewer below, sending a massive dust cloud up into the air. Cinderblock groaned as dirty water ran over it, streaming into the new fissures in its body.
  14.
  15. "BOOYAH!" Cyborg bellowed, throwing up a celebratory fist. Starfire giggled and clapped next to him.
  16.
  17. "QQQQQQQQQQQQQOOORRKKK?" Plasmas squorched mid-air, spinning 180 in a great liquid spiral, its green eyes taking in the turmoil of its companions.
  18.
  19. "SCREEEEEEEEE!" came a deep shriek as an enormous, tooth-beaked seabird with a wingspan some 25 foot wide swooped down in between the buildings. Beast Boy's pelgornithid form reached out with humongous talons and carefully scooped Plasmus's squishing mass. The monster squelched in surprise as it moved with the gigantic bird.
  20.
  21. Raven levitated up into Beast Boy's flight path. She took a moment to focus, and her eyes burned with a white hot light. Raven threw out her arms in an aggressive motion, causing her cloak to flourish open and billow out like wings in the wake of her mystic might.
  22.
  23. "AZARATH! METRION! ZINTHOS!" Raven incanted, calling up a razor edged, spiraling tempest of blackshining energy.
  24.
  25. Raven's obsidian glow spun outward, arcing precisely in between Beast Boy's talons, and sunk into Plasmus's malleable form. Beast Boy let go of Plasmus, throwing his huge avian legs wide as Raven's attack fully entered the goop-monster. The magical energy expanded Plasmus momentarily before causing him to explode in messy glory. Before Raven could react, a thin layer of acidic green slime flew out from the explosion and hit her in the chest and stomach. The slime immediately started steaming against her leotard. Raven's eyes widened as her clothes began to rapidly dissolve in the night air.
  26.
  27. A sleeping human form came into view from the center of the muck-blast. Beast Boy clutched the man deftly in his talon and swooped passed Raven as she gasped. The structural integrity of her leotard was compromised almost instantly as her breasts and moon-pale curves popped out through the rapidly expanding holes in her outfit. As her leotard became more-holes-than-fabric, the smoking scraps broke apart and fell away from her body. Raven grasped the edges of her cloak and wrapped herself tightly in its thick, blue fabric. She blushed deeply beneath the shadows of her hood.
  28.
  29. "KKKRRRRAAAAAIIIIII!" Overload reverberated, finally expelling Robin's disc from its electro-form. Its body consolidated into a more stable state, and the monster slouched in relief.
  30.
  31. Overload's relief did not last long, however, as Jinx and Argent both darted towards it with graceful, synchronized boot-steps.
  32.
  33. "Hn!" Argent grunted softly, slamming two red-glowing fists together. Crimson rods materialized in the air, surrounding Overload, and immediately pierce into the ionized beast. Overload shrieked, leaking electricity like gravity-defying, zigzagging blood as its limbs were skewered together by Argent's attack.
  34.
  35. Jinx chesire-grinned as she flipped with otherworldy grace and let her arms fly freely, flinging several hotpink waves of jagged hexpower. The causality-warping light rippled into the shower of sparks that was the writhing Overload.
  36.
  37. For a moment Overload sparkled pink, and Argent's rods began to glow with menacing energy. A second later Overload's body ripped apart with several moderate, crackling explosions that charred the road beneath him.
  38.
  39. Jinx smiled serenely, landing in an elegant pose as Overload's explosions died in a storm of dust.
  40.
  41. "Easy," Jinx purred, holding her pose.
  42.
  43. "RRRRRRKKKAAAAKAKAAAAA!" Overload stumbled forward through the dust cloud, his electro-body significantly smaller and weaker than it had been, but still very much intact and functioning.
  44.
  45. Jinx's features fell into a graceful scowl.
  46.
  47. "Right then," Argent shrugged. "HRUGGH!" She took a powerstance and lifted her scarlet-lit hands into the air. As she did, a crimson weight the size of a straight-truck appeared out of thin air, poised just over Overload's weakened form. Argent grunted as she brought her hands down hard. The crimson weight smashed uncontested onto Overload and crunched its outline into the pavement. Overload's electrical essence sizzled and sparked out from underneath Argent's attack like arcing fountains of static bug-splat. For a moment Argent smiled to herself, but the smile soon disappeared. Overload's electrical issue caught on the powerlines and the buildings surrounding the battleground, siphoning energy from them back down into his crushed form.
  48.
  49. "NnnGH!" Argent struggled, flexing as she attempted to keep her red-glowing hands down.
  50.
  51. The effort proved futile, however, as Overload's regenerated and engorged form coalesced and stood, lifting Argent's red-weight and tossing it into a nearby building. Argent's hands followed the motion and she ragdolled against the sidewalk.
  52.
  53. "KRRRRRRRRIIIAAAAAAAAAAA!" the now larger-than-ever Overload gave a frenzied cry, his form bulging and brimming with barely contained power. Overload's electro-body expanded and grew. The monster gave a digital laugh as its form started to split and break apart.
  54.
  55. Robin, Cyborg and Starfire all rushed forward, each of them predicting a devastating explosion, but they were all too far away to make it in time. Beast Boy, still in pelgornithid mode and carrying Plasmus's human body, could only watch from the skies. But neither Jinx nor Argent were down for the count. Jinx let fly a precise, pink hex into the chip at Overload's core, causing the being's digital eye to pop in surprise. His growing charge collapsed into flux and his power surged in on itself. Argent quickly recovered from her ragdolling and, with a resounding shout, she slapped her hands together. A red dome materialized and enclosed Overload just before his unstable form collapsed and erupted in a pre-critical blast.
  56.
  57. "GGGGGH!" Argent wheezed, fighting to keep her hands together as the force of Overload's premature self-destruction assaulted her protective barrier. Argent's rosy dome quickly formed cracks, and dangerous arcs of fat, searing lightning began to leak out. Jinx's eyes went wide as Overload's coming power painted the entire street blue.
  58.
  59. "HAAA!" Raven called at the last second as she dove from the air, arms outstretched and hands blackshining. Dark-glowing energy reinforced Argent's crimson power and covered the breaches, sealing and containing the explosion. A moment later, the combined shield dissipated, and Overload, now nothing more than a depleted computer chip, laid groaning on the street.
  60.
  61. "Hah," Argent huffed as she turned to the pose-holding Raven, "Thanks for tha-,"
  62.
  63. Jinx had turned towards their savior as well, and now considered Raven's curvaceous nudity with a chesire grin.
  64.
  65. "Not bad," Argent smiled, getting an eye-full.
  66.
  67. Raven frowned at the two girls and clasped her robe tightly around herself once more.
  68.
  69. "Nice work, Titans!" Robin congratulated, grinning as he and the others caught up to the three girls.
  70.
  71. "AWWWW YEAH!" Cyborg nodded, "VERY NICE!"
  72.
  73. "Joy! We are victorious!" Starfire jubilated.
  74.
  75. Beast Boy landed, carefully placing the snoring man on the pavement, and then transformed back into his normal self, "HAHAHA! YE-UH!"
  76.
  77. Neither Jinx nor Argent said anything, but both smiled knowingly at Raven. The robed girl gave them a death-glare that had a very clear meaning. Raven turned around, keeping her cloak closed, and floated towards her teammates.
  78.
  79. "That's what we do," Raven deadpanned as casually as possible.
  80.
  81. "That's right! All in a day's work!" Jinx chirped, taking a single eldritch skip forward and elbowing Raven with more force than necessary. Raven's stance shifted from the strong nudge. She quickly redoubled her grasp on the inner seam of her cloak and gave Jinx an icy look.
  82.
  83. "Cheers," Argent sarcassed, joining the others and grinning sideways at Raven.
  84.
  85. "We don't yet know what purpose this rampage served," Robin announced, gesturing at the extensive but contained destruction all around them, "But whatever scheme it was a part of has been delayed by our decisive action here tonight! I can tell all our training has been paying off, and of course we wouldn't have been nearly as effective without our extra members! Jinx, Argent, we can't thank you both enough for joining us on this call!"
  86.
  87. "No need to get all squiggly, love," Argent shrugged, "Fightin' monsters come with the job, yeah?"
  88.
  89. "Argent's right," Jinx purred, "We're Titans. When there's trouble, we answer the call. Besides, I kinda like these emergencies with you guys. It's exciting!" Jinx turned to gaze pointedly at Raven, "You never know WHAT you're gonna see."
  90.
  91. "Well, that's great," Raven nearly-deadpanned, levitating up into the air. Her voice held increased inflection and she spoke just a touch faster than normal. "But, now that we're done here, I guess it's time we got back to the Tower. See you all there."
  92.
  93. "WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOIN', GIRL?" Cyborg hollered, swooping forward and dragging Raven back down to street level as he wrapped her in a one armed side-hug.
  94.
  95. "YEAH, RAVEN?" asked Beast Boy, stepping up directly in front of her, "WE JUST TOOK DOWN THREE OF THE BADDEST DUDES JUMP CITY HAS TO OFFER! THIS IS CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION!"
  96.
  97. Raven clutched her robe tightly. Her whole body bloomed in a secret blush at the juxtaposition of her hidden nakedness next to her two very excited, very close, very male teammates. Raven took a quick, calming breath. She hoped that the darkness of her hood was deep enough to hide her embarrassment.
  98.
  99. She need not have worried, however, as Cyborg and Beast Boy had now gained one another's complete attention.
  100.
  101. "ARE-YOU-THINKIN-WHAT-I'M-THINKIN?" Cyborg chanted, releasing Raven and pointing at Beast Boy dramatically.
  102.
  103. "YOU KNOW IT, DUUUUDE!" Beast Boy cheered.
  104.
  105. "PIIIZZA PAAAART-AAAAY!" Cyborg and Beast Boy sang in unison. They began dancing in the middle of the destroyed street.
  106.
  107. "UH! UH!" Beast Boy grunted, waving his arms and grinding his booty, "GONNA GET THAT EXTRA CHEESE AND SPINACH!"
  108.
  109. "AND IMMA GET THAT MEEEEEAT LOVAAAAAAAAHS!" Cyborg sang, stepping smoothly and fanning himself.
  110.
  111. "Oh, what a splendid idea!" Starfire cheered and floated forward. She bounced rhythmically in an excited aerial jig. "The party of pizza sounds most appropriate! I will have the anchovy, pickle, and mustard toppings!"
  112.
  113. "AWWW YEAH, GIRL!" Cyborg hollered.
  114.
  115. "YOU GET THAT MUSTARD PIZZA, STAR! HAHA!" Beast Boy wailed.
  116.
  117. "Is this really necessary?" Raven droned with a hint of desperation.
  118.
  119. "It is a big victory," Robin smiled, stepping forward, "And we've had parties for a lot less. So, I think I'll have supreme."
  120.
  121. "MMM!" Cyborg hummed, still dancing, "ROBIN GOIN FOR THAT GOOD EVERYTHAAANG!"
  122.
  123. "Sounds fun to me!" Jinx chimed, stepping forward.
  124.
  125. "Why not?" Argent shrugged.
  126.
  127. "Uuugh," Raven groaned at her friend's excitement. She shifted uncomfortably beneath her cloak. The soft, blue fabric billowed slightly in a faint breeze that came off the nearby bay. The breeze blown cloak tickled every inch of Raven's sensitive skin. The cool night air seeped up from Raven's feet, cooling her in some very private places and raising goosebumps on her already teased skin. The sensation made Raven very aware of just how exposed she was from below. Raven lifted her feet, levitating in place, and tucked her legs underneath herself.
  128.
  129. "What's the matter, Raven?" Jinx asked with faux-innocence, "Don't you want pizza?"
  130.
  131. "Is something wrong, Raven?" Robin asked with concern. The whole team turned to look at her.
  132.
  133. "Nothing!" Raven answered immediately, her voice bright with emotion. She collected herself in the next moment and continued, "Nothing's wrong."
  134.
  135. Raven became aware that tucking her legs had created a noticeable bulge in her cloak. She quickly straightened her legs out again.
  136.
  137. "What are we waiting for?" Raven forced herself to deadpan, "Let's go get those pizzas."
  138.
  139. "WELL ALRIGHT!" Cyborg grooved. The T-Car zoomed up the street and squealed to a stop in front of them. Its doors popped open automatically."LET'S GET IT STARTED!"
  140.
  141. "Shotgun!" Jinx called out, bounding into the front passenger seat.
  142.
  143. "Ah man!" Beast Boy whined, "She beat me again! Now I'll have to pile in the back with the rest of you... DIBS ON A WINDOW SEAT!"
  144.
  145. "Lovely," Raven grumbled.
  146.
  147. The Titans all loaded into the T-Car, chatting about pizza and their best moves during the fight. The doors all swung shut behind them and the Titan's high-tech ride beamed off into the night. They left behind a smoldering, ruined street just as a swarm of futuristic police vans pulled up to the scene.
  148.
  149. The T-Car's interior was spacious but still crowded. Between Argent, Starfire, Robin, Raven, and Beast Boy there was absolutely no extra room in the back seat. Raven found herself sandwiched between Robin and Beast Boy. Both of their sides pressed firmly into her own and their body heat soaked into her. Raven fidgeted in her seat. As her friends yammered, Raven quietly tried to find the best way to sit so that her cloak would remain completely closed. This task was complicated by the fact that, in his rush for pizza, Beast Boy had sat on a considerable portion of her cloak when he took his seat. This pulled the blue garment tighter and gave Raven less fabric to work with. Raven tried to casually grip the inner seam of her cloak with her knees and both hands, but the posture felt awkward and Raven could feel air leaking in from thin openings in the split. Underneath her cloak Raven's arms pressed against the smooth, supple flesh of her own body.
  150.
  151. Raven could feel emotions bubbling up within her, and demonic energy coming along with them. She took a centering breath and quickly closed her eyes for some lite-duty, on-the-go meditation. The Titan's voices slowed and seemed to grow distant as Raven opened her psyche.
  152.
  153. As often happened, the first emotion to fly up stained her mind's eye a bloody red. Violent thoughts raged forcefully through the surface of her mind.
  154.
  155. >KILL THEM ALL! MURDER! TORTURE! ONLY BLOOD WILL SUFFICE FOR THIS SLIGHT!
  156.
  157. Raven responded mentally to herself in a calm, practiced manner, 'We're not a monster. We're not murdering our friends just because we're in an embarrassing situation.'
  158.
  159. The rage washed away in a flood of understanding. The blood red faded from her mental vision only to immediately be replaced by a pale yellow.
  160.
  161. >We've allowed our judgement to become clouded. If we had been in better control of ourselves, we could have simply said that we did not want to ride in a cramped car, and then told the others we'd meet them there. This would have given us time to fly back to the Tower and change before getting pizza.
  162.
  163. 'You're right, but we can't change that now. If the Titans decide to continue the party after pizza, we'll use that excuse to go change.'
  164.
  165. A rush of closure caused the pale yellow to withdraw, being replaced by a flat grey.
  166.
  167. >What if they find out? What if they see us?
  168.
  169. 'They won't find out. We cover ourselves in the cloak all the time. And even if they did see, they're our friends. Friends share embarrassing experiences without judging each other. Worrying about it is pointless.'
  170.
  171. The grey light trembled but did not dissipate.
  172.
  173. >But what if they see us and they don't like how we look? What if they think we're ugly?
  174.
  175. 'We look fine,' Raven thought sternly, 'The guys are always stealing looks at us anyway. They'd probably be more embarrassed than we would.'
  176.
  177. >If you say so...
  178.
  179. The grey light washed to white, and Raven found herself balanced. The sounds of the Titan's conversation came back and time resumed as normal, but Raven did not open her eyes. She kept herself in that state of tranquility, but that tranquility shattered as Beast Boy paused from his conversation to take a big, animalistic sniff.
  180.
  181. "Who-hoa, dudes!" Beast Boy chuckled, "We musta worked up a SERIOUS sweat fightin those monsters! This car smells FUNKAY!"
  182.
  183. Raven's eye shot open. She realized in a panic that in her unclothed state, certain normally-locked-away smells were wafting out from her. Raven looked downward and retreated further into her cloak, trying to become as small as possible.
  184.
  185. "Ya know, Beast Boy," Jinx purred wickedly from the front seat, "I can smell it too!"
  186.
  187. "Better hit those showers when we get home! But first, PIIIIZA BABY!" Cyborg added.
  188.
  189. Raven closed her eyes, frantically trying to find calm as emotive-power geysered up from her soul-self. Flat gray lit up her mind's eye.
  190.
  191. >Oh no! Oh no! They smell us! They smell it!
  192.
  193. Raven's mind scrambled to find a response but, like tires spinning on ice, she found no traction. Outside, the bulbs of streetlights glowed black and exploded one by one as the T-Car drove past. The flat grey stayed strongly in Raven's psyche, and was then joined by a raging blood red that did not mix with the grey, but separated and churned it about, like water and oil.
  194.
  195. >MURDER! GENOCIDE! ANNIHILATE THESE CRETINS AND ENSLAVE THIS WORLD!
  196.
  197. 'We're not a monster! We're not killing anyone! We are not a monster!'
  198.
  199. The red light dimmed and ceased its churning, but it did not fade entirely away. The grey light still glowed strongly. Outside, streetlights continued to pop, causing pedestrians to yelp and jump away from the falling glass. Nearby shop windows began to crack and splinter as the T-Car zoomed passed.
  200.
  201. Immediately next to her, Robin gave the air a couple well trained, detectively sniffs.
  202.
  203. "You know," Robin said, contemplating casually, "It doesn't quite smell like sweat. I mean, that's there, but there's definitely another scent going on. Pungent, aaand slightly acidic."
  204.
  205. "OH NO!" Cyborg hollered from the driver's seat, "DO NOT TEEEELL ME SOMEBODY GONE AND TRACKED PLASMUS INTO MY BABY!"
  206.
  207. Shop-front windows now exploded out of their frames as the T-Car passed and streetlights not only popped, but began to curl down and inward with black energy, almost like flowers wilting under the heat of a flame. In the T-Car, Raven could only mentally repeat her mantra, 'Azarath-Metrion-Zinthos, Azarath-Metrion-Zinthos,' in a desperate attempt at keeping her powers under control.
  208.
  209. "Naaah, dude!" Beast Boy waved dismissively. Directly next to a softly-mumbling Raven, Beast Boy took several exaggerated whiffs, "It's not Plasmus smell! That dude is straight up NOXIOUS, yo! Robin's right that its a little acid-y, but that's not the main smell! It's UMAMI!"
  210.
  211. "WHAT?!" Cyborg shouted, glaring at Beast Boy in the rear-view mirror, "DONTCHU BE TALKIN ABOUT MY MAMA! I WILL TURN THIS T-CAR AROUND!"
  212.
  213. "NOT YOUR MOMMY!" Beast Boy cried, "UMAMI! The fifth taste, dude! It's the savory flavor of certain meats and fishies! Being vegetarian, I don't get to taste it a lot, but -SNIIIIIFF- Aaah! I like it, dude!"
  214.
  215. Raven's inner chanting stopped, her eyes popping open once more. The red hue in her mind melted into a warm lavender which bled over and consumed the grey.
  216.
  217. >Of course he likes the smell of us. We're delicious! We ought to let him do more than just smell-
  218.
  219. 'We're not having sex with Beast Boy.' Raven thought plainly. The lavender light quivered in protest.
  220.
  221. >But-
  222.
  223. 'Beast. Boy.' Raven thought. The lavender light died and her mind reclaimed some measure of peace. Glass shards stopped raining a path of terror in the T-Car's wake. Raven sat up once again, making sure her grip on her cloak was tight, and looked up into the rear-view mirror to see pink cat-eyes and a cheshire-grin. Raven scowled back defiantly.
  224.
  225. "WELL I DON'T KNOW ABOUT UMAMI!" Cyborg bellowed, bringing the T-Car to a screeching, sliding stop in a parallel parking space, "BUT I KNOW I'M ABOUT TO TASTE SOMETHIN SAVORY! WE'RE HERE Y'ALL!"
  226.
  227. Cyborg leapt out of the T-Car, Beast Boy following suit. The two ran across a Y shaped fork towards the pizza place, singing "PIIIZZA PAAAAR-TAAAY!" in vibratoing tandem.
  228.
  229. Raven and the other Titans piled out of the T-Car and followed. Before long the Titans had settled into their favorite table and had several plates of steaming, cheesey goodness in front of them. Beast Boy, Cyborg and Starfire all ripped into their pies with rabid enthusiasm. The others ate more normally. Raven kept her cloak well shut, happy to have a seat where she was not pressed against anyone else, and magically levitated a slice of plain cheese in front of her, taking bites as she pleased. She sat quietly as the other Titans ate and went over the highlights of the battle. Raven kept her mind in order and did not rise to any of Jinx's smiles or sideways remarks, refusing to even look at the pinkwitch. As time went on, Raven found that she was actually rather enjoying herself. It was a beautiful night and her friends all glowed with victorious glee. She became more and more confident that, despite Jinx's teasing, she was going to get through the pizza party with no more incidents. Because of this, Raven's emotional tension gradually eased. Every time Raven ignored one of Jinx's double-entendres or cooly deflected a leading question, Raven felt both smug and amused. Her appreciation for her cloak grew immensely. Raven had always felt safe inside it, and tonight it had come through for her in a big way. Raven's feet began to ever-so-slightly swing back and forth underneath her seat. The refreshing bay-breeze rippled her cloak gently and cooled her all over, and now that she was feeling calm Raven realized the sensation was quite pleasant, even liberating! By the time that the last slice of pizza had been devoured and the party had devolved into Cyborg and Beast Boy dramatically reenacting scenes from the fight, Raven was in a good mood. She felt confident, clever, and remarkably comfortable. Raven no longer clutched desperately at the seam of her cloak, but rather snuggled it around herself like a favorite blanket.
  230.
  231. However, just as the Titans were gearing up to return to the Tower, a crowd of fans found them and took the roof-top pizza place by storm.
  232.
  233. "THERE THEY ARE! THERE THEY ARE!" "OH MY GOD IT'S THE TITANS!" "AAAAAAAAH! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" "THEY JUST BEAT UP THREE MONSTERS ON HAYES-STREET! THE VIDEO'S ALREADY GOT TEN MILLIONS HITS ON HEROTUBE!" "I LOVE YOU ROBIN!" "NO! -I- LOVE YOU ROBIN! MARRY MEEEE!" "CAN WE TAKE YOUR PICTURES?!"
  234.
  235. At the last request, Cyborg and Beast Boy strutted foreward and began striking ridiculous poses. The crowd laughed and cheered as phones began to flash and snap. The other Titans got in on the act. Starfire flexed with mock ferocity as Robin adopted a dignified, heroic stance, his cape flapping dramatically in the bay-breeze. Jinx spun in a graceful pirouette. Argent just crossed her arms, stuck out her pierced tongue, and flipped off the cameras.
  236.
  237. Raven hung back, keeping a cool head and making sure her cloak wrapped around her completely. Fortunately, this reaction was not uncommon coming from Raven, so no one paid it any mind. For the next several minutes the other Titans posed together, posed with fans, and gave out autographs. Raven deigned to let a few people take pictures with her. She did not consider it worth the effort to deny them. Each time the fans would smile cheesily while Raven deadpanned. Inwardly, Raven was amused. She wondered how many of these people posing with her would freak out if they knew that right then, at that moment, she had nothing on underneath her cloak. The thought made Raven feel somehow powerful. She found herself asking, 'What if they knew?' inside her head. A deep green flickered briefly through her psyche, 'What if I let a little skin slip? Would they notice? What would they do? It would be fun to see them react!' These thoughts made Raven's heart beat faster, but her more reserved nature completely overpowered these ideas. Raven's face betrayed no emotion as she stayed firmly wrapped in her cloak.
  238.
  239. After a few minutes the Titans decided they'd had enough and told the crowd they were headed out. As usual, the crowd groaned and pleaded.
  240.
  241. "OH COME ON! JUST A FEW MORE PICTURES!" "YEAH! JUST A COUPLE MORE!" "ROBIN! I'LL DO ANYTHING FOR YOU! JUST PUT A BABY IN ME! AAAAAH!" "LET'S GET ONE OF ALL THE GIRLS!"
  242.
  243. At this last suggestion, most of the crowd buzzed its agreement.
  244.
  245. "Tch," Argent rolled her eyes, "Figures."
  246.
  247. "You want the girls, huh?" Jinx asked the crowd. She grabbed Starfire by the wrist, Raven by the shoulder of her cloak, and dragged them over to stand by Argent. Raven scowled and gripped tightly at her only garment as Jinx tugged on it mercilessly.
  248.
  249. "Let's show em what we've got, ladies!" Jinx said, taking a seductive pose. The crowd went wild and the flashing camera phones became a wall of light.
  250.
  251. "Teehee," Starfire giggle at Jinx's antics. Blushing, Starfire floated into a lounging posture. She placed one hand on her hip and one in her hair. The effect was more adorable than suggestive, but the din of the rabble increased immensely.
  252.
  253. Robin grinned, put two gloved fingers into his mouth, and whistled, causing Starfire to smile at him and blush even brighter.
  254.
  255. "AWW YEAH!" Cyborg cheered, gazing at Jinx, "VERY NICE!"
  256.
  257. "AWO-AWO-AWOOOOOO!" Beast Boy howled, dropping to all fours and bouncing one leg.
  258.
  259. "Hm," Argent rolled her eyes. Then she stuck out her tongue once more and unceremoniously grabbed at her breast, cupping them through her black bodice. Her cleavage smooshed and bulged in her top. Gasps and cheers came from the crowd and the camera flashes increased to the point where the pizza joint lit up like daytime.
  260.
  261. "No," Raven droned.
  262.
  263. "Come on, Raven," Jinx peer-pressured, smiling wickedly.
  264.
  265. "Not now. Not ever," Raven deadpanned.
  266.
  267. "Buzz-kill," Jinx winked. She turned back to the crowd and said, "Let's see how many hits THIS gets on Herotube!"
  268.
  269. Jinx placed one hand on her stocking-covered thigh and drug it upwards, hiking up the jagged hem of her dress and revealing a strip of pale skin and the hot-pink edge of her panties.
  270.
  271. The crowd exploded:
  272.
  273. "OHMYGOD! OH! MY! GOD!" "HNNNNNNNNNGH!" "I'M TOTALLY LES FOR YOU, JINX! GIVE ME YOUR LADY PARTS!"
  274.
  275. Argent smirked at the reaction, "That how it is, then?"
  276.
  277. Argent calmly turned around and, bending over onto the nearby table, lifted up her skirt, revealing lacey, red boy-shorts. The bottom curve of her white, ample ass cheeks slid out from underneath the crimson lace. The crowd rocketed into a frenzy. People began jumping on top of tables and climbing chairs and trashcans to get a better view. Argent sneered back at the cameras and smacked her ass.
  278.
  279. "Daaaaaahhh-" Beast Boy exhaled continuously, his eyes wide and tongue sagging.
  280.
  281. "WEEEW!" Cyborg fanned himself, his robotic eye flashing suspiciously.
  282.
  283. A look of surprise and concern spread over Robin's features.
  284.
  285. "You two are gross," Raven droned, looking away from them. Underneath her cloak, Raven's naked body began to sweat.
  286.
  287. "Star!" Jinx purred as she ran her hands all over her stripe-stocking'd thighs, frequently rising to her waist and throwing up the jagged edges of her dress, "Join us!"
  288.
  289. Starfire's blushing deepened in the blinding light of camera flashes. Her green eyes focused on Argent's butt as the gothpunk girl smacked and squeezed at it lazily. "I do not know that I should, friend Jinx! Though your display has much of the excitement, I worry that it is too immodest!"
  290.
  291. "Don't get inna twist, love," Argent grinned up easily at the alien girl as she rolled her hips from side to side, "It's just a bitta fun. Teasin' boys n all that."
  292.
  293. Concern grew heavier on Robin's face. He began to walk forward.
  294.
  295. "Well..." Starfire brought a finger to her lips, smiling but uncertain.
  296.
  297. "Come on, Star!" Jinx called, laughter bright in her voice. "It's not like they're seeing anything they wouldn't if you were at the beach in your bikini!"
  298.
  299. "This is true..." Starfire's smile grew.
  300.
  301. Robin had nearly reached them, and he opened his mouth to speak, but before he could get a word out he was stopped dead in his tracks.
  302.
  303. Starfire, giggling, had daintily grabbed the edge of her skirt and gently lifted it upwards at one hip, revealing a generous strip of pure, white cotton.
  304.
  305. Robin's eyemask went wide and his whole face burned in a furious blush. He closed his mouth, gulping, and adjusted the collar of his cape nervously. Robin took a few steps backward, returning the way he had come.
  306.
  307. "Raven!" Jinx called once again, her thin hips gyrating as she felt herself up.
  308.
  309. "Not on your life," Raven droned, struggling to keep calm. Raven's heart beat fast in her chest. She felt confused and conflicted as the crowd hooped and hollered before them.
  310.
  311. Jinx smirked wickedly and wiggled her fingers in the night air. A few sparks of electric pink dazzled for a moment before the gentle bay-breeze abruptly picked up into a powerful gust; a gust directed precisely at Raven.
  312.
  313. The sudden wind caught Raven completely by surprise, and though Raven's grip was strong on the top and middle portion of her cloak's seam, it did nothing for her lower half. The hexed gust caught the bottom of Raven's cloak, sending one side shooting upward dramatically.
  314.
  315. "NO!" Raven growled, her reaction was one of the fastest she'd ever had. Raven brought down a fist, balled up inside her blue-protection, and forced the wayward fabric back down before it could completely expose her. Raven shot up from the rooftop with witchy anti-gravity. She settled several feet up and away from the scene and made sure her cloak was not flapping open. Raven knew, with great relief, that her fast acting had saved her from revealing anything too private, but she was painfully aware that the sensation of the rising fabric had traveled a bit too far up one hip. Feelings and demonic force surged within Raven. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes while hanging in mid-air. The sounds below her grew distant and slowed as colors flooded her psyche. Raven answered each of them and they faded in turn:
  316.
  317. Blood Red
  318.
  319. >SMITE THEM! HELLFIRE! RAIN DOWN CHAOS IN A SHOWER OF UNHOLY BRIMSTONE! SINK THIS WRETCHED CITY INTO THE SEA!
  320.
  321. 'We are not a monster. No matter the situation, that is not an acceptable response.'
  322.
  323. Pale Yellow
  324.
  325. >If we had struck Plasmus with our finishing move from a further position, we would have been outside the radius of his acid spray and, therefore, would have avoided this situation entirely.
  326.
  327. 'We will remember that for future encounters, but it does nothing to help us right now.'
  328.
  329. Warm Lavender
  330.
  331. >They LOVED it! Mmm, BY AZAR it feels good to let loose!
  332.
  333. 'We control ourselves for a reason. We must be deliberate in our actions and motivations.'
  334.
  335. Bubblegum Pink
  336.
  337. >That's true, but hey! We've gotta admit this was pretty fun!
  338.
  339. 'No, it wasn't.' Raven thought to herself tersely, and was shocked to find out it was a lie. The pink light did not fade, but only laughed at her. A zigzagging stream of blackshine shot out from Raven's person and destroyed a nearby billboard.
  340.
  341. Beast Boy, walking away from the crowd and the other Titans, approached the railing of the pizza place and looked up at Raven's form, not far away.
  342.
  343. "Hey, Raven!" He called, his voice unsure, "Are you oka- Uhh...." Beast Boy's eyes widened. As he looked skyward, he could not help but see up the bottom of Raven's cloak. Beast Boy's face turned bright red as his mouth fell open, "RAVEN?!!"
  344.
  345. Beast Boy's tremulous cry broke into Raven's mind, ripping her from her meditative state and bringing her back to reality.
  346.
  347. "-ARE YOU NOT WEARING ANY- DOH!" Beast Boy cried as a large, black-glowing talon materialized instantly and shoved him back roughly into the crowd, knocking over several people who were still snapping pictures of the other Titan girls.
  348.
  349. Raven turned, eyes wide, as the other Titans looked up at her from afar. Raven quickly levitated away, making sure none of them could see up her cloak.
  350.
  351. "I've gotta go! See you at the Tower," Raven spat out before morphing into her soul-self, flying off into the night in a beeline for Titan Tower. As Raven's soaring soul-self met the glass and steel of the gigantic capital T, she phased easily through the walls of the building, passing through one barrier after another until she reached the sanctuary of her room. Raven returned to her normal body. She waved her hand automatically through the air, no longer minding that her cloak opened as she did so. The movement caused the curtains to slide shut and several scented candles to ignite.
  352.
  353. Raven immediately laid down on her bed, forcing herself to breath calmly. Safe in her room, Raven focused much easier. She closed her eyes and found the pink light still laughing uproariously.
  354.
  355. >OH BY AZAR! HAHAHAHA! DID YOU SEE BB'S FACE?! HAHAHA!
  356.
  357. 'Yes. Hilarious.' Raven thought-droned. It was enough to cause the pink light to weaken, but not fade. The warm lavender melted forth once more, swirling lasciviously around the pink.
  358.
  359. >We should have let him look more. We should have asked him if he liked it!
  360.
  361. 'Once again, we are not having sex with Beast Boy.'
  362.
  363. Pale yellow began to creep in at the edges of Raven's mind. She winced, struggling to hold so many presences in her conscious at once. Demonic power surged through Raven's form, but the many wards and totems that Raven had long-since placed around her room easily grounded the rising energies.
  364.
  365. >Perhaps not, but clearly we have to accept that we felt something tonight. We can't keep denying it to ourselves, or else this is going to end up like that incident with the scary movie.
  366.
  367. The pink light bubbled into prominence.
  368.
  369. >Only SEXIER! HAHAHA!
  370.
  371. The purple light quivered and purred.
  372.
  373. 'You're right,' Raven thought in a moment of clarity. The pale yellow receded. 'We did feel something. We enjoyed something about tonight.'
  374.
  375. The other colors faded from Raven's mind, leaving a wash of white. Raven opened her eyes and sighed. She sat up from her bed, hood falling back, and gazed at herself in a nearby mirror. Raven stood and moved over to it, parting her cloak and staring at herself in the mirror. She began to touch herself, running her fingers lightly over the curves of her body. She considered her own image as she did so, thinking back on the night: the comfort and freedom she felt as she ate with her friends, her shock and surprise at Beast Boy describing her scent, the conflicted feelings she felt as the other girls exposed themselves.
  376.
  377. "What was it Argent said?" Raven asked her reflection. She let her hands fall and her cloak close once more. "Just a bit of fun?"
  378.
  379. Raven sighed to herself, smiling weakly, then got herself ready for bed and went to sleep.
  380.
  381. It was not long before the other Titans returned to the Tower, but no one bothered to seek Raven out. Robin, Starfire, and Cyborg had no idea what had caused Raven's outburst, but they knew their friend well and understood that she sometimes needed to go collect herself, and that it was best to just give her some space. They did not worry themselves about it, and instead turned on the TV and grabbed sugary snacks from the kitchen, chattering happily about the night's events. Jinx and Argent turned their teasing onto the awkward Beast Boy, who blushed furiously at their giggling and indirect questions.
  382.
  383. And thus the night passed much like any other in the Tower. When morning came, Raven went about her daily routine and then made her way through the Tower to the kitchen. There, she found Jinx and Beast Boy sitting at counter stools while Cyborg whistled and cooked breakfast.
  384.
  385. "Hey, Raven," Jinx purred. Her pink cat-eyes flashing.
  386.
  387. "H-Hey, Rae," Beast Boy stuttered, once again blushing furiously as Raven levitated into the room.
  388.
  389. "MORNIN, RAE-RAE!" Cyborg hollered as he worked a super-mega-advanced, giganto-sized waffle iron.
  390.
  391. "Good morning," Raven said, smiling slightly. Raven floated over to the refrigerator and turned her back on the others.
  392.
  393. Beast Boy watched Raven. As she opened the refrigerator door, Beast Boy saw her blue cloak expand outwards to one side. Raven began to rummage about, looking for chilled herbal tea.
  394.
  395. "So look, Raven, a-about last night," Beast Boy started.
  396.
  397. "Don't worry about it," Raven said in a relaxed tone. She found her tea and closed the refrigerator door.
  398.
  399. "Really?" Beast Boy asked, looking confused.
  400.
  401. "Really," answered Raven as she turned around to face the green boy and the pinkwitch. As she turned, Raven lifted her tea to her lips with one hand, an action that parted her cloak and revealed both a generous amount of underboob and the long, curving flesh of Raven's side. Beast Boy squeeled softly, eyes bulging out of his head at the sight. Jinx's grin nearly split her face in half. Cyborg whistled and focused on his wafflemaker, none the wiser.
  402.
  403. "Aah," Raven sighed as she brought her tea down from her lips. Her cloak closed most of the way, but a thin sliver of pale skin was still visible between the space in the seam. Raven eyed Beast Boy like a predator. She smiled when she noticed Beast Boy's hands desperately trying to cover his lap.
  404.
  405. "Seriously, Beast Boy," Raven teased, "Don't worry about it. Last night was just a bit of fun."
  406.
  407. Raven turned and floated away with her tea. On her way out she met Robin and Starfire as they entered the room together.
  408.
  409. "Good morning, friend!" Starfire sing-songed.
  410.
  411. "Hey Raven. How are you?" Robin asked casually.
  412.
  413. "I'm doing pretty good," Raven grinned calmly at them as she floated past. Neither Robin nor Starfire noticed the exposed sliver of Raven's pale skin.
  414.
  415. "Glorious!" Starfire cheered.
  416.
  417. "Cool, well, see you later for training," Robin called after her.
  418.
  419. "Yup," Raven answered as she continued to float away.
  420.
  421. Beast Boy shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He looked at Jinx and said, "Save my spot, okay? I need to go change."
