  1. >Liby Loud sighed in contentment as she reclined against a tree
  2. >She opened her book and found where she'd left off before she was brought to the park by her dad
  3. >He decided to make a day out of it, and Liby, along with the rest of her siblings, were loaded into a van and driven the short distance
  4. >She liked the park, she frequented it on her own when it was nice out, and she got some of her best reading done here
  5. >Tuning out the sounds of yelling children, a skill fine tuned over the years, she lost herself in her novel
  6. >"Oh hi Liby! How nice to see you" her focus was broken almost immediately as she looked up
  7. >Lois, a classmate of hers that she had sort of befriended
  8. >They'd met when he school year started, Liby introduced herself through stutters with her eyes on her shoes when Lois practically yelled out
  9. >"Liby LOUD? Do you know Luan Loud?"
  10. >"Sh-S-Shes my mother" Liby replied, and the other girl squealed in delight causing Liby to flinch and freeze up as Lois snatched her up in a hug and declared them to now be friends
  11. >Lois it seemed, was her mothers biggest fan
  12.
  13. >"Hi-H-hello Lois, how are you?" Liby's face radiated unease, which was lost on the excitable girl
  14. >"I'm enjoying the brightest day of the week" Lois said happily, than looked at the shy girl expectantly "Cuz its Sunday! Get it?"
  15. >Liby groaned inwardly as she gave a strained smile "G-good one Lois"
  16. >The brunette sat down suddenly next to her "Whatcha reading?"
  17. >"O-oh, this?" Liby turned the cover to herself, as if she'd forgotten the title "This is The Maltese Falcon"
  18. >"Is it funny?" Lois asked, head tilting "N-no, its a detective novel"
  19. >Lois let out a hum and seemed to lose interest immediately "Hey check out this trick I've been working on"
  20. >She pulled out a deck of cards and began shuffling, fanning them out she held them up to Liby "Pick a card!"
  21. >The mousy girl did and Lois began to shuffle again, her chest bouncing from the enthusiasm
  22. >Liby looked away with a blush and pressed her lips together in envy, she was flat as a board and that fact gave her self esteem issues
  23. >Especially when her younger sisters we're already filling out more than she was
  24. >The shy girls newest friend reinforced these image problems with her ample chest despite being a few months younger
  25.
  26. >Lois began to deal the cards and laid them out on the grass
  27. >Liby was able to see her dealing from under the deck, the brunette it seemed would need more practice
  28. >"Is THIS your card?" she beamed, holding up a king of spades
  29. >It was
  30. >"Yeah, that was pretty good" she humored as the busty girl fist pumped in victory, she gathered up the cards and offered them "Now you try"
  31. >Liby looked down at the cards, than back up to her friend who smiled at her expectantly before taking the deck
  32. >The shy girl began to riffle the deck before splitting the deck in two and shuffling both halves one handed
  33. >"Whooooah" the fan girl marvelled and Liby felt a rush of pride, she didn't even start the trick yet
  34. >"Pick a card" Liby said, not offering the deck and instead still continued her card shark antics "Just pick one out"
  35. >"Oh, um...ace of spades"
  36. >Liby nodded and split cut the deck before shuffling some more, she than placed the deck upside down on the grass and fanned them out
  37. >Lois' eyes widened in astonishment as she saw the cards laid out in perfect numerical order, ace through king
  38. >Starting with the ace of spades
  39. >"Holy crackers! How did you do that!?" the brunette gaped at her
  40. >Liby rubbed her arms and blushed "Its...uh...c-called card mechanics, its not really magic, its more like counting cards"
  41. >"Thats so cool! Show me how, pleeease?" The girl was difficult to deal with, even more so when she was fired up like this
  42. >Liby smiled though, having a fan felt good
