[MSPA/SU] - The Diamond Authority's Spectrum

The Diamond Authority’s Spectrum is broken into 4 Distinct Facets, The Colorless, The Lowcuts, the Highcuts, and the Grand Clarities.

[Colorless]
The Colorless are the lowest Rung of Gem Society. They are made up of Gemstones that lack color in the spectrum of White-Black. They are used as construction panels and often imbued into objects to give what little power they have towards being seen as ‘useful’ in The Diamond Authority’s eyes. It is not considered a crime to Shatter a Colorless Gem, but as a hazard of their existence.
   Disdainfully on part of the Diamond, they answer to Yellow Diamond.

[Lowcuts]
The Lowcuts are Gems that are considered to be Expendable and thus serve in low-ranking positions among The Diamond Authority’s forces. They range in colors from Red to Teal and answer directly to Yellow Diamond, the Lesser Diamond.
   While it is socially unacceptable to denounce a Diamond, punishable by a Shattering, Yellow Diamond is considered to have ‘less’ of an impact of Gem Culture and is often overlooked in Authority Propaganda entirely.

[Highcuts]
The Highcuts are the Upper Crust of Gem Society and are incredibly powerful. Some of the Highcuts are known to be able to see the Future, some are known to be able to move an entire Planet’s body of water with their will alone. While they are encouraged to join The Diamond Authority’s forces, they are not legally required to. They range in color from Cerulean to Purple and answer directly to Blue Diamond, The People’s Diamond.
   Despite being the Uppercrust Diamond, Blue Diamond is universally beloved by all of Gemkind and acts as more of a figurehead than Pink Diamond does. Social issues are handled by Blue Diamond’s Enforcers and it is considered a High Honor to serve in her Court.

[Grand Clarities]
The Grand Clarities are the Highest Rung of Gem Society. They are comprised of Gemstones of a Violet to Pink Hue and are considered to be near omnipotent, living embodiment of all a Gem can and should be. Their powers are never disclosed, though these Gemstones have the capability of insane feats of Strength and Metaphysical Abilities as evident by the Grand Guard- Pink Diamond’s Private Militia.
	Pink Diamond is known at The Grand Diamond, the Purest and Highest Clarity. A terrifying Monarch, capable of mass amounts of destruction hidden beneath a kind and bubbly exterior, there is much public distrust of this Mercurial Diamond and her honeyed words. This mistrust if voiced is punishable by Bubbling, stripping a Gem of its physical form and trapping it for eternity inside its own mind, or in serious cases of Rebellion by Public Shattering and the use of their shards in Pink Diamond’s Militia. To serve in her court is a Death Sentence and is actively avoided by Gems who are given the chance to serve elsewhere.

[White Diamond]
While this Final Diamond does not Mother a Court of Gems herself, she is largely considered to be the Origin of Gemkind as a whole and is revered as a Living Goddess. White Diamond is an impossibly large, brilliant Diamond who existed before all other Gems. From her, the Diamonds were created, and from the Diamonds the Gems were created.

   Public Consensus is that White Diamond no longer lives as none have ever seen her with their own eyes, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. The reality of White Diamond’s Disappearance is nearly worse; as Pink Diamond rose to power, she had forced her Sisters to cooperate on fear of Shattering and the three had overwhelmed the Allmother. Currently, White sits Set within the bowels of Homeworld, her power siphoned by Pink Diamond to give her the Immeasurable Power she controls.

     The fate of White Diamond is a well kept secret that only few Gems know of.
