01[17:45] <Altea> "Well, I think maybe we should find the teleport bay first."
01[17:45] <Altea> "It'd be pretty bad for you if we got shot down."

01[17:47] <Altea> "Maybe, yeah. Anyway, let's secure the teleport bay without drawing too much attention, and go from there."
[17:49] <Ikiryo> She nods. "Right, easy enough."
01[17:49] <Altea> "Okay." She thinks again. "I have no idea where that is."
[17:51] <Ikiryo> She pauses. "...neither do I."
01[17:51] <Altea> "Okay, new first job. Find a map or a blueprint or something."
[17:55] <Ikiryo> She nods. "I can get that if we can find a terminal to plug into."

06[18:11] * Altea goes down the hall in a direction.
[18:14] <Ikiryo> Ainlinn follows, dagger in hand. "If he's got the drones on board, that means he has a few of the people who control them too. I don't honestly know how many people he needs in order to pilot the ship."
01[18:15] <Altea> "Yeah, I don't know much about Belkan designs."
01[18:15] <Altea> "Too bad Alexa isn't here."
[18:16] <Ikiryo> She shakes her head. "I don't know much about them either other than they involve a heap of compensation."
01[18:19] <Altea> "Yeah I bet these things are expensive. Is this hallway gonna end anytime soon?"
[18:21] <Ikiryo> It doesn't seem like it. Seriously, they've been walking for nearly five minutes now and while there are plenty of doors off to the side, no actual sightings of the end of the hallway.
[18:21] <Ikiryo> Ainlinn frowns. "Weird."
01[18:22] <Altea> "Maybe it's some weird magic."
[18:23] <Ikiryo> "...maybe. I mean..." She pauses "...well, that's odd."
[18:24] <Ikiryo> There is an odd black mark on the floor in front of them. Like the one where they arrived on the ship.
01[18:24] <Altea> "Isn't this where we arrived?"
[18:25] <Ikiryo> Ainlinn nods. "It is. The corridor is straight though."
01[18:26] <Altea> "Hmm. Wait, isn't the Jager family thing mind magic?"
[18:26] <Ikiryo> "You think something is happening to us?" She nods again. "I'm going to stab him. A lot."
01[18:27] <Altea> "It's all I can think of that makes sense."
01[18:27] <Altea> "My other option was treadmill floors."
[18:29] <Ikiryo> "...pretty sure it's not that." She sighs. "I have no clue how you break mind magic stuff from inside it."
01[18:30] <Altea> "Maybe we go totally off the rails?"
[18:31] <Ikiryo> Ainlinn nods. "Right, so smash stuff. I'm not suprised~" She smirks.

He shimmers, the familiar sight of a teleportation spell going off. His voice echos over the ship. "Take out those intruders, now!"
[18:47] <Ikiryo> Ainlinn is lying by Altea, holding her head as the sound of clanking feet approaches...
01[18:48] <Altea> "You should know better Hugo! There's nothing in this galaxy I can't break!"
06[18:48] * Altea takes position over Ainlinn to make sure she has the time she needs to recover.
[18:49] <Ikiryo> "I'm...I'm alright." She gets to her feet. "Arg, I feel like someone took a shard of glass to my brain." Altea can't say she feels much better.

06[22:21] * Altea rubs her head. "We need to move for now." She grabs Ainlinn and runs away from the incoming feet.
[22:22] <Ikiryo> "Hey, let go!" She grumps at Altea. "I can run myself and faster than you."
01[22:22] <Altea> "Well, you were just laying on the ground, so."
06[22:23] * Altea lets Ainlinn go, but keeps her stride.
01[22:25] <Altea> "We need a plan. Got anything?"
[22:28] <Ikiryo> She stays by Altea's side, frowning. "...well, he knows we are here...and I'm willing to bet he's got every single defence he can between us and him now. I don't think even you can smash them all if we go directly there." She grins. "But if he's got every guard there, they are not in other places."
[22:29] <Ikiryo> They emerge into a massive room that looks like it's designed for ritual magic, mirrors along the walls and a black marble floor.
06[22:30] * Altea nods. "My big concern is the Kinslayer Spear. He may grow a spine and come after me with that, and that thing is designed to kill giants. I'm betting that includes me."
01[22:30] <Altea> "Well, for now, let's try to find you that terminal."
[22:30] <Ikiryo> She nods. "...those mirrors look automated, there is likely a terminal in this room for them." She starts to look about.
[22:40] <Ikiryo> "Aha!" She hears from the other side of the room as Ainlinn unfolds a small terminal hidden in a wall. "Got it!" Altea on the other hand has found some grey dust on the floor...she recognises what caused that, the spear.

01[22:40] <Altea> "Okay, I'm gonna add on to our plan that we definitely take down Hugo."
[22:44] <Ikiryo> "...was that ever not part of the plan?" She tilts her head as she taps away at the console.
01[22:45] <Altea> "I was gonna try to be cautious about it...but not anymore."
[22:46] <Ikiryo> "What is it?" She grins. "Alright, I'm in...at least with basic stuff. This ship is busy engaging an Enforcer cruiser and...nice to know that Hyperion Dreadnaught wasn't part of the illusion bullshit." She frowns. "...looks like Hugo's managing to match them though. Fucking belkans."

[22:49] <Ikiryo> "...on his own ship? Who's he got to stab here?" She nods though. "Anyway...I can't disable any systems but I can get a map and maybe get us a communications link to somewhere."

01[22:56] <Altea> "Okay, do you see anything we can mess with to tip the scales?"
[22:57] <Ikiryo1> "...concidering we want to stay alive, likely not the shield generators. Maybe some of the weapon systems?"

[23:01] <Ikiryo1> "Some on this floor, some on lower floors. Seriously, this ship has a heap of guns."
01[23:07] <Altea> "Okay. Go to the armory together, then we hit the guns on that floor"
[23:09] <Ikiryo1> "Sounds good." She grins. "I have some stuff that might suprise them a bit there." She starts to lead on.
06[23:09] * Altea follows. "Oh?"
[23:12] <Ikiryo1> "Yeah, I 'borrowed' some demo-charges from Panakiea. Needed to wait until she was sleeping as her fabrication thing needs her fingerprints."
01[23:13] <Altea> "Nice! Okay. First stop, the Reliquary!"
[23:14] <Ikiryo1> She nods, leading over to a hatch on a wall. "I bet they are guarding all the elevators down...but not the maintainence tunnels. You ok with getting some exercise climbing down ladders?"
01[23:14] <Altea> "Always. Good arm workout."
06[23:16] * Altea goes down the hatch.
[23:19] <Ikiryo1> Ainlinn sticks ahead of her, occasionally reaching out to disable a sensor. "Alright. We should hopefully not be found on the way there. Any plans in the reliquary other than smash?"
01[23:22] <Altea> "If the spear is there, I'm gonna take it with us when we leave."
[23:23] <Ikiryo1> She nods. "Makes sense." She reaches the bottom of the shaft. "Alright, it should be just through...huh..." She presses the hatch a few times. "It's stuck. Someone might have shoved something in front of the hatch. Help?"
06[23:24] * Altea moves down below her, ready to knock the hatch off its hinges.
06[23:28] * Altea punches the hatch.
[23:28] <Ikiryo1> The hatch flies backwards, smashing against a wall and the expensive vase that was put in front of it shatters all over the floor.
[23:29] <Ikiryo1> Ainlinn smirks. "I think that might have been all the way from Belka itself."
01[23:29] <Altea> "Well, that's basically Hugo's fault.'
06[23:29] * Altea drops down from the hatch.
[23:31] <Ikiryo1> Ainlinn joins her. The room they are in...Altea remembers it from her vision. A black and gold reliquary, highly decorated and with weapons hanging on the walls. Many of them old hunting weapons.
06[23:32] * Altea looks through the reliquary. "This is the place from my vision. Where Hugo put the spear..."
06[23:34] * Altea starts looking for the spear.
[23:36] <Ikiryo1> She easily finds the place it should be. It clearly has a place of honor in the middle of the back wall...but the slots are empty.
01[23:37] <Altea> "Guess we didn't get lucky. Okay, let's take down the weapons. We can confront Hugo after that."
[23:37] <Ikiryo1> Ainlinn is looking about the room. "...I'm seeing like five different mass based weapons here. Even before he started killing people, this room is super illegal."
01[23:37] <Altea> "I don't think he was ever really interested in going legit."
[23:40] <Ikiryo1> "No but...ok, no. His mother was a bitch too. Nevermind, his family is more fucked up than mine." She nods, pocketing a few things from the walls. "Ready to go when you are."
06[23:41] * Altea nods. "Lead the way to the battery on this floor."
[23:42] <Ikiryo1> "Right. Be ready for a fight." She draws her pistol, slicing open the hinges of the reliquary doors. The hallway beyond...is empty.
06[23:44] * Altea raises her gauntlets. "Hm."
[23:45] <Ikiryo1> "...weird." Ainlinn frowns, ears twitching.
01[23:45] <Altea> "Think it's mind magic again?"
06[23:45] * Altea winds up to punch the wall.
[23:50] <Ikiryo1> "I don't think..." She dives out of the way as a pair of figures shimmer into existance. They are clad in concealing armour that looks hyperion in design, carrying heavy rifles.
[23:50] <Ikiryo1> "Targets found. Terminating."
06[23:53] * Altea grins. "Finally he sends someone out!"
[23:54] <Ikiryo1> Ainlinn looks less amused. "You want to smash them? I can deal with these idiots if you want to keep moving."
01[23:58] <Altea> "You're faster than me. Get in position and secure it."
[23:59] <Ikiryo1> She nods. "Alright. If you hear explosions, that was me~" She grins, blitzing foward and past the figures in a green flash.

06[00:06] * Altea moves forward, throwing a quick jab at one of the figures.
[00:07] <Ikiryo1> They bring up the heavy rifle to block the strike, pushed back a few feet by the impact but the power armour absorbing the hit well.
[00:08] <Ikiryo1> Rifles are raised, filling the air around Altea with hot lead...
06[00:09] * Altea blocks the worst of it with raised arms.
[00:11] <Ikiryo1> "Mage. Deploy K1 Grenades to compensate."
06[00:18] * Altea ducks under his rifle, smashing him in the ribs with an elbow shot.
06[00:18] * Altea then follows it up with a mighty uppercut, her device chiming <MANOS DE LOS GIGANTES>
[00:19] <Ikiryo1> He is send back all the way to a nearby intersection, impacting the bulkhead and crumpling it...it looks like the power armour saved his life but even with myrmidon enhancements, he's out cold.
[00:21] <Ikiryo1> The other one raises his rifle, launching an underslung grenade at Altea. "K1 Out."
[00:22] <Ikiryo1> A moment later after the grenade is out, the sustained machine gun fire continues, trying to suppress Altea.
06[00:23] * Altea is forced back on the defensive under the hail of bullets, and the grenade sprays her with K1.
[00:23] <Ikiryo1> She can feel the effects of it on her, slowing her flow of mana.
06[00:28] * Altea tries to stay light on her feet, as she feels the unstoppable tide of her mana begin to trickle under the effects of the K2. "Gotta end this quickly then. Eat this!" She rushes him, throwing a kick to his legs, and following up with a left cross to the center of mass.
[00:30] <Ikiryo1> He staggers, being slammed against a nearby wall...but standing back up again, despite her horrific strength. That armour is good. The figure drops the ruined rifle, pulling out a pair of large pistols and blasting away at Altea...
06[00:33] * Altea can't stop the shots, caught flatfooted by the sudden appearance of the pistols. She's bleeding now.
01[00:36] <Altea> "You actually did pretty good, but I've got someone to meet."
06[00:36] * Altea headbutts the soldier.
[00:37] <Ikiryo1> The faceplate cracks open, revealing an ajax soldier as he slumps...hitting an intercom as he falls, a siren blaring out over the ship.
01[00:37] <Altea> "Huh. Well, that's not good."
06[00:37] * Altea runs to try to catch up with Ainlinn
[00:38] <Ikiryo1> Hugo's voice echos over the ship. "The fuck is that? Fuck it, bring me my hostage, now!"
[00:38] <Ikiryo1> Ainlinn is easy to find...especially when the siren is interupted by the sound of a massive explosion and giggling.
01[00:38] <Altea> "Hm, hostage?"
06[00:39] * Altea presses the intercom. "Since when do you have a hostage, Hugo?"
[00:39] <Ikiryo1> "Sir, we just lost 30% of our weapons on the port broadside." A voice can be heard, Hugo evidently not having turned off the communications. "Then turn us...WHAT? ALTEA? WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON MY SHIP?!"
01[00:40] <Altea> "Iunno. Well. I don't know how I got here. There was this thing in a building and it pulled us in and then we ended up here."
01[00:40] <Altea> "But now that I am here, I'm gonna punch you in the face!"
[00:41] <Ikiryo1> He starts to laugh. "You try that and you'll lose a friend~"
01[00:41] <Altea> "See, that's what I was asking. You got all confused when I asked since when you had a hostage."
01[00:41] <Altea> "Try to keep up, Hugo."
[00:42] <Ikiryo1> "I...you...SHUT UP YOU STUPID GIANT!"
01[00:42] <Altea> [To: Ainlinn- Keep going, we're gonna be at this a while.]
01[00:42] <Altea> "Man, you're having a real hard time huh? Let's start over. So, you're involved in some kind of conspiracy?"

[00:43] <Ikiryo1> "Of course I am! I will bring back the glory of Belka and the Jaeger family! And you can't do anything or I'll execute your friend!"
01[00:43] <Altea> "So you're bringing back the glory of Belka by flying this ship out here and letting it explode from lack of maintenance?"

01[00:44] <Altea> "Oh, by the way, how'd you get more Ajaxes? I know you had that one from the prison break, but I just beat two of them up and they're not the same one."
[00:45] <Ikiryo1> "I...what...THIS SHIP IS EXCELLENTLY MAINTAINED! I got more Ajaxes the same way I got your friend after we caught your communications with her! I have a very fast ship and HAVE MIND CONTROL YOU DUMB BIMBO!"
01[00:46] <Altea> "Well you haven't explained any of that. Do you actually not know how you got them?"
01[00:48] <Altea> "You also have yet to say which friend of mine you even have, so I kind of wonder if you're lying to me."

[00:49] <Ikiryo1> Hugo's dignified and aristocratic tone really vanishes when he's yelling at the top of his lungs.
01[00:49] <Altea> "Didn't you already try that once today on me?"
[00:50] <Ikiryo1> "THAT WAS JUST A PRECURSOR TO WHAT I'LL DO TO YOU! WHEN I'M DONE YOU WILL BE MY WILLING SLAVE! THEN I'LL DO IT TO THE REST OF YOUR FRIENDS TOO!"
01[00:50] <Altea> "I mean, I can't stop you from trying, but I think you might have better uses of your time."
[00:51] <Ikiryo1> "SHUT UP, SHUT UP YOU STUPID BIMBO BRICKHOUSE!"
01[00:52] <Altea> "Hey, do you need a minute? You sound kind of upset."

[00:53] <Ikiryo1> "Sir, we lost another 20% of our port weapons..." "NOT NOW!"
01[00:53] <Altea> "Hey, I've got some stuff to do, so why don't you take a drink of water and calm down a bit, and when you're ready to talk like an adult, contact me then, kay?"

01[00:56] <Altea> "Well, here's the thing, Hugo. All you've said about it is that you have my friend, but you haven't answered any questions about them. Are you sure you don't actually have one of your friends?"

[13:18] <Ikiryo> "Of course you can. Though...kinda out of explosives other than these. This ship has a LOT of weapons. Well...had."

[13:19] <Ikiryo> "But Alexa isn't here for me to deflate her head." She sticks out her tongue.

[13:19] <Ikiryo> The elevator starts to slow, likely to open soon. Ainlinn quickly sets up the grenades in front of the door.
06[13:20] * Altea brings her gauntlets back up, letting her mana run wild.
[13:21] <Ikiryo> The doors swing open, revealing hugo flanked by two huge creatures. Bat winged and with acidic spit dripping from massively fanged maws, they don't look like creatures Altea has seen before.
[13:25] <Ikiryo> ...at least, until the two grenades detonate. Hugo gets a single moment of shock before diving out of the way as his two bodyguards are hit by the K1...screaming as they are pulled back into runic marks on the floor, struggling and tearing chunks out of the floor.
[13:25] <Ikiryo> Ainlinn curses. "Dammit, missed him!"
01[13:27] <Altea> "Well, now it's just him."
[13:27] <Ikiryo> The room in front of them is an utterly decadent command center. Dark wood paneling, gold inlays and black metal everywhere...and a familiar figure that Altea hadn't expected as Hugo pulls back to his hostage.
[13:28] <Ikiryo> A blue haired girl, her pale skin having matching pale lines running along it. Selene Rho. Her eyes are less bright than Altea is used to, looking empty and glassy. Hugo grins nastily. "Hello fools."
06[13:29] * Altea just looks confused. "How is she here?"
[13:30] <Ikiryo> "My ship is very, very fast and we intercepted your communications~" He smugs.
01[13:30] <Altea> "Oh, I guess that makes sense. So now what, do we fight?"
[13:31] <Ikiryo> He pauses...looking confused. "What? I have a hostage here...of course we don't fight! That's the point of a hostage!"
[13:31] <Ikiryo> He raises his spear to her neck.
01[13:31] <Altea> "So, what, you wanted me to come up here to NOT fight?"
[13:32] <Ikiryo> "Well...I...SHUT UP!"
01[13:35] <Altea> [To: Ainlinn- Think you can try to get Selene away from him?]
01[13:35] <Altea> "Besides, you were just saying a moment ago that you wanted to mind control me, so what are you doing over there?"
[13:36] <Ikiryo> "I...you...that's not the point, I'm in control of this situation!"
[13:36] <Ikiryo> [From: Ainlinn - Yeah. You give me an opening and I can grab her.]
01[13:37] <Altea> "Alright, then if you're in control, show me. Use your mind control on me."
[13:38] <Ikiryo> "Wait...you're trying to trick me! I'm not going to do that! A foolish giant like you cannot hope to outwit the heir of the Jaeger family!"
01[13:39] <Altea> "Alright fine, then don't."
[13:40] <Ikiryo> "I...well..." He looks a bit confused. "Fuck this, killing you both!" He looks to Selene. "Kill them!" The blue haired girl starts to charge, blank eyed as Hugo raises his spear. [From: Ainlinn - Uh...huh...you want Hugo or your mindfucked friend?]
01[13:41] <Altea> [Hugo is mine. Try to take down Rho gently.]
[13:42] <Ikiryo> [I'll try but if she's like the other Myrmidons she'll take a beating.] Ainlinn moves to intercept the other girl...
06[13:43] * Altea takes position in front of Hugo.
[13:46] <Ikiryo> Hugo charges at her, raising the spear...
06[13:52] * Altea can barely react to his speed, unable to stop the spear from connecting, but toughening up to minimize its damage.
[13:52] <Ikiryo> He manages a glancing blow, the spear leaving a nasty black mark along her shoulder...
06[14:00] * Altea follows it up with a pair of jabs, clipping him with one, but bruising him with the other.
[14:02] <Ikiryo> He winces...and goes tumbling as the bridge is rocked by a massive impact, his head impacting a console before he can right himself.
[14:03] <Ikiryo> [From: Ainlinn - I think the shields just failed]
06[14:03] * Altea smacks into a console, but the console takes the full force
01[14:03] <Altea> [To: Ainlinn-Finish it fast, then, huh?]
[14:04] <Ikiryo> [From: Ainlinn - Yes please. I don't want to die to friendly fire before we can tell them we are here.]
[14:06] <Ikiryo> He growls at Altea, charging her again with the spear...as she feels an impact slam into her mind.
[14:14] <Ikiryo> The mental impact delays her enough that the spear sinks deeper into the same shoulder this time...black lines running down her arm...
06[14:18] * Altea grits her teeth, using the pain from the strikes to fuel the fire inside her. "I'm gonna make sure I'm the last person you ever hurt!"
06[14:18] * Altea throws a haymaker, a strong right hand through his defense and right onto his jaw.
[14:19] <Ikiryo> He would have a witty comeback if his jaw wasn't currently broken and he just slammed through three large crystal displays before hitting the ground...
[14:23] <Ikiryo> Hugo barely has time to stand up again before another railgun impact shakes the ship...as Altea watches the large window open out into space along one wall crack. Mostly because Hugo impacted it, hard.
06[14:23] * Altea hits another wall, and the wall dents as she gets back up.
[14:24] <Ikiryo> He staggers to his feet, looking furious. "I will not lose here! I will restore the glory of Belka!". Or at least, that's what Altea THINKS he said. That sounds like a Hugo thing. The broken jaw isn't helping him be understandable.
[14:34] <Ikiryo> He charges at her bringing the spear down in a massive leaping arc as she feels him try to tear her willpower apart with his mind.
06[14:35] * Altea feels him affecting her mind, and pauses as the attack collides. It stops after penetrating an inch of flesh.
01[14:36] <Altea> "Sorry Hugo, but you can't hunt giants with a toothpick."
[14:36] <Ikiryo> "Wha..." He slurs.
06[14:36] * Altea raises both hands over her head, and brings them down as an overhead smash, the last burning gasp of her magic causing the ambient temperature to skyrocket.
[14:38] <Ikiryo> He impacts the deck hard enough to crack it...and lies still.
06[14:38] * Altea rushes to the console. "Please tell me I didn't smash the communications console..."
06[14:40] * Altea struggles to stay standing.
[14:40] <Ikiryo> ...and then Altea feels horrible pain in her arm, the one that's had the repeated strike to it. It's more than she's ever felt pain before...
06[14:41] * Altea grits her teeth. Have to stay up a moment longer...have to call the Hyperion cruiser...
[14:42] <Ikiryo> ...and she watches her arm disolve into black dust, flaking away as her gauntlet falls to the floor.
06[14:42] * Altea looks at it with eyes wide. "N-no way..."
[14:43] <Ikiryo> Ainlinn looks over...and blanches. "Oh...saint King."
06[14:44] * Altea presses the button awkwardly with her off hand. "Hyperion cruiser, t-this is the Belkan cruiser. Hugo Jaeger has been defeated...this is Cadet Chavez. Please stop shooting us...help..."
06[14:44] * Altea passes out.
